Idk it's been a year since your comment but... It really depends I usually see buildings like this ranging to buy from 3-6k in my area but with lumber costs inflating it may be a lot more now.
As timber price has gone through the roof now this will be an expensive build. I go a quote for a single stall stable smaller than this in Ireland for €11,000😅 hopeful to build similar to this for approx 4k
Johnson Johnson if you really want to learn something like professionally then take a adult carpentry course at a trade college but if you just want to learn it for your own projects then find a carpenter who’s willing to teach you the basics and the rest is working it out by your self
Well, you obviously have no idea of horses. Stall doors are to be at right end of stall front with left side hung hinges for doors to swing open with handlers left hand. Horses are led and mounted from left. Handler opens door with left hand, steps into open stall, leading horse on right into stall with wall on his right. If horse bolts handler is safe out of the way. Doors down an aisle will be on opposite ends of stalls eliminating danger entering or leaving stalls.
Thank you for the insights. I do work closely with the customers to establish the conditions of the ground, opening positioning, placement of the hinges etc. And knowledge of the equine welfare does not reflected in this video.
There is TONS of empirical evidence that barns are bad for horses, who were never meant to live indoors. Before you spend a lot of money on a barn for yourself, do what's best for your animals, which need basic shelter and 24/7 turnout. . . read a book!
I would have loved it if you could have built mine
Omg I wrote this a year ago all ready ahah
...and I would have preferred if they had added a "balcony" because horses need a lot of fresh air and the possibility of moving around.
Same

Looks great, but it’s not bolted to the ground,I don’t think you contractors appreciate how much strength a horse with itchy arse has got
Yep lol
It’s probably to avoid planning permission
My horse would knock it straight over
Guess they don't have wind there either
Even at trade price HOW MUCH did it cost him in supplies to build this barn? Simple question.
Prices would vary depending upon your area. Right?

Love this! Do you have the materials list and plans available?
Yess!!!
Super nice ! Well done!
I just had a crazy idea to build this
I wanna build it too 😭
What about the foundations though? It's just sitting on chips? It is in danger of sinking into low areas over time. Good job with the rest though.
Temporary, movable buildings is the cost saving option on one side, and also will eleminate unnecessary questions from the area governing bodies.
I'm thinking about building mine. Actual instructions would have been helpful and what tools you're using, dimensions etc.
How much does it cost to build something like this?

Wow how long did it take to build would love a stable like that 😍
Must have taken weeks. Quite ironic that I’m answering a question from 3 years ago.
Have you any dimensions of timber etc?
Place that in my backyard
Hello friend, is there a way to contact you?

I pretty much copied it and it took me my dad and 3 buddies a weekend.
Chase Ware how much money was it?
I assume you haven't got horses in Ukraine. Either that or they are really well behaved
My adventure with woodworking started with Woodglut.
😂 I was like oh, who is building this.
Me: ohhhh it’s fat guy
My bff: yup I remember fat guy
man where do you even learn how to do something like this? i think i am too stupid.
No one is stupid just takes practice :)

Metal would have been a lot cheaper

1 1 this is just what you see on video how do you know he didn’t do it off video don’t judge someone for what you just see on video
In a pasture 24/7 might cause injuries or escape also a barn is a shelter for horses if your not smart enough to know that :) Horses need shelter too!
@@ellaabarrelracingEvidently you didn't read the part about "basic shelter" being included.
