Boyfriend Built My Rescue Horses A Barn - By Himself!

Wild Things Sanctuary Inc, my 501c3 animal rescue, has saved over 20 horses from slaughter in 2021. As a result, we desperately needed another barn at the sanctuary, but didn't have the funding available to hire someone or buy one...so Ben came to the rescue! He taught himself how to build a 6 stall horse barn from the ground up!

Problem is people using cheap screws that shear so easy. Ive never had a problem with expensive thicker screws and lags. Oon the other hand Nails are alot cheaper.

Great work! Just be sure to get the bottom boards in the stall so if they lay down they don't get their hoofs or legs caught. Some horses lay to close to the walls and get caught, get in a panic and I have heard some deaths have happened that way.
