Wow! Even after 5 years, I still come back to this page to watch the amazing transformation from just plain dirt to a fully functional barn that has served your family so well. And, now, y'all have moved on to a new 500-acre off-grip property that you are dressing up just like a queen going to a royal wedding! Keep it up. We LOVE watching your lives as you share with us!
It's very rare to see this kind of work undertaken by a single family working together. This is the best use of drone till date. I have never seen a single video which has so much drone footage. Amazing build and amazing video. An inspiration for a lot of us.
I watched this barn build from the beginning everyday and I found it so therapeutic and fascinating to watch. As I was watching this full length video of the complete build, it reminded me how much I enjoyed watching the original videos, but it also showed me how satisfied you must’ve felt seeing all your hard work come to fruition with the awesome end result of a fabulous barn. To complete such a massive structure, pretty much on your own, with help from your wife, you showed that anyone can do anything, if they set their mind to it but also that your homestead was important to you and that you will shed blood, sweat and tears to make it succeed. Well done, it’s a credit to you both. 👍🏻
It's so fun watching your older videos and seeing just how drastically things have changed! I really enjoy watching your videos, and I can't wait to see the barn and workshop get finished!
A true labor of love. All the drone footage took my breath away seeing it in timelapse. Thanks for sharing this. Bless you Lumnah family. You all rock!
Can’t help feeling a great deal of admiration for you and your family. You bring wonder and joy to this old guys days. Always looking forward to your next video.
I found your channel when you built this barn. I watched the entire series and I was hooked. You guys are livin the good life. Lot's of work, but the pay off is so worth it.
Dude, you are amazing! You built that almost by yourself! That could have easily been a house. That was the best I have seen on TH-cam in years. You and your wife did an amazing job, period. That's like " drop the mic " good.
Last video before bed tonight. Asked Higher Self to recommend one and this is the one HS indicated. Loved watching you do the build, mostly with only one person. I have ordered a lawn building. Maybe I can construct it by myself. Loved watching it at high speed, and the drone footage. This is the first of your videos I have watched and really enjoyed it. Blessings.
Superb task Al, I watched every minute you posted. If it had been so easy as this video clip you have posted in time lapse, you would have been laughing, but I watched your resolve and tenacity and hard work you put into your barn. I look forward each day to see your videos. Love from GB 🇬🇧.

I watched this with much admiration for the one man (and sometimes his very hard-working wife!) who put this thing together by himself! What strength and determination he showed! Ahhh......were I 30 years younger......
I think for many of us, the cost of what you are doing is helpful so we have an idea of what to expect. If you could also include cost of extra help, equipment rental etc. would be of great value. Thanks you!
Al, I thoroughly enjoyed watching you and Gina build your beautiful barn. I was particularly impressed with the level of your skill and your meticulous attention to detail. What an achievement!
Wow I just watched this & all I can say is WOW! So much talent in building & so much more. Al is such an inspiration. It great to see Gina doing so much also. We women can do a lot. Yay 😃
I enjoyed watching you build this barn at normal speed as it captured your hard work and thought to careful measurement and even your mistakes. All in all its pretty awesome! I remember building my 10×16 workshop out in my back yard by myself. Besides installing the main roof beam and the row of Windows across the top, I built the whole thing pretty much by myself. It was not a kit. I purchased the blueprints and bought the materials as I built it. It was cheaper doing it that way and allowed me to add whatever I wanted including a loft they never included in the plans. I ended up adding two lean two additions onto it two years later. I added insulation and drywall as well as wiring. It turned out nice but NOTHING like what your barn looks like.
I watched you build that from start to finish in your real time post...So cool to see it shown again in time laps. Thank you for going to the trouble of putting it together. love your channel .

What a good looking barn! A follow up video would be nice, about how you feel about the barn after a year, any problems with the kit, etc. Also, how did you finish the wood? And was there an option for a sturdier roof? Those panels are attractive, but don't seem like they would hold up to snow or a solar install.

The first house we built so very many years ago was a kit, boards labeled A1, A2 etc. Funny to think of now. That was before the computer age so I wonder how we found the company. Quite the learning experience. 2 story, 2 bath, 3 bedrooms, 2 car garage. Amazed we did it.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news. Regarding the middle slab, the video shows you placed the plastic moisture barrier on top of the wire mesh , rendering the wire reinforcement useless. Wire mesh should have been placed in the middle or top third of the slab thickness. Unless you sawcut contraction joints in the slab, expect the slab to exhibit wide cracks over time.
