Hi sir lam living in London (srilankan) every Sunday morning breakfast is kanji in my house. Add roasted urid dale & coconut milk . It will more tasty one day u will try it’s smell so good
This is our breakfast on every sundays. Coconut milk tastes better and we add little lime juice or tamarind and small piece of ginger to sambal to enhance the taste. ☺️

Sir ... plain red matt a cooking procedure is also the same ie. without parupu. Do we have to strain the kanojiguda or can you cook such that the kanojiguda gets absorbed in the rice while cooking.

In srilanka we make this for breakfast with coconut milk. Sambol also we make it more dry , not with much water . Taste yummy.
