Maybe they were hoping people would be like "ooooh a review from the future, I must click on it". Instead of just watching it because they want to see a recent review of satisfactory. When it would obviously only ever be the second one.
"This is a great survival game" 1 minute later "It doesn't have the normal survival game hunting/gathering/starving etc" That's because it's not a survival game. It's a factory building game. Also it looks like a bunch of your clips are just taken from other content creators.
This is one of those rare games where I find myself thinking about it when I'm not playing it.. Only a few other games have done that. Valheim and Minecraft are two that come to mind. I love Satisfactory.
You should point out that the game is in its early stages, and there is already a story written for it, although it won't be implemented until version 1.0. Additionally, they are slowly adding more enemies and creatures throughout the world. Just a few days ago from this post, they added two new enemies. Some parts of the map, such as caves and other areas, are still being worked on and require further polishing. However, all said and done, Satisfactory is a great game, and anyone who enjoys factories will enjoy it. If you haven't played the game yet, it might be worth waiting for version 1.0 since it is close, and there may be some recipe changes and other significant updates that will have a major impact on the game. P.S. Go buy the game! It's awesome, and it will be cheaper to acquire it now than at version 1.0.
Version 1.0 is scheduled for release this year. You can check on their TH-cam page. They are currently in closed beta, so by the end of the year, you will have a full release of the game. @@jmg5281986
So basically it's a game that represents the future of the human race. Find new planets and automate the crap out of the process of taking all the natural resources =D
As someone who really enjoys building and figuring out things and to make them fully automated & efficient in Feed The Beast Infinity 1.7.10 Minecraft mods..... this game is gonna get my jimmies off, right?
@@tslater2005 of course. Whatever is in the game right now is already enough to keep people playing. There’s just that little chance that some stupid story moment will go viral and then that’s how the game is talked about, rather than the amazing things
I initially got Factorio and tried to get into it, but had trouble getting things to fit right, which frustrated me and I gave up. Satisfactory did this to a point, but once I got past that I looked back on 2000 hours (!) of play time, the most out of any game I own. Steam had me at 90% of all games played last year.
I played it for about 300 hours, and all I can say is: EXTREMELY overrated game. I gave it an honest chance considering I've put 300 hours into it, but it doesn't get better. I don't see myself playing this again.
Ya, a lot of free time to play a game you don't like. That's a serious commitment. I'm actually jealous that you can do that since I can't really play games without being super bored
If day £15 for a 300hr game time, value for money, if consider 100hrs out of a early access game a win so it must be really good if you've spent so much time in it

Although it's one of the best early access games, Satisfactory is not a survival game at all. More of a strategic/simulation game
Yeah idk how it could be called a survival game.
It's March 2024, and this "2024 Review" was posted 9 months ago.

Much appreciated!

Great points, appreciate the information :D
Also note that it is possible to turn creatures to passive or reactive mode in case you don't enjoy this aspect of the game.
9 months later... Still in early access with no signs of a 1.0 release

Great video, sir! Great commentary, you make me want to check this game out.
You should!
It's not a survival game. it's a management game. I'm over it
So basically it's a game that represents the future of the human race. Find new planets and automate the crap out of the process of taking all the natural resources =D
Who told you this is a survival game bro . Do proper research. Satisfactory is a automation, strategy game
Well, I was on fence, but you sold me on it, getting it now

Well done!
Funny how this was developed by the same studio that developed goat simulator.
And Valheim
It would be such a shame if when the full game came out, the story part was so bad people didn’t want to play it
😂 but to be serious. I wouldnt even mind if its bad. I have sooo many fun hrs in this game allready i dont even care about a story😅

Its on sale on steam right now. All time low!!! Worth a buy
Interesting game though a story is a must. I'll wait until full release.
then it will be like 100 dolla sir xD
I'm currently addicted. 30 hours in. I'm completely happy with no story. It would just distract from my time building and optimizing my factories.
No story, guess he never found the *harvest*

The slug overclock thing is ridiculous and stupid
my issue is this or factorio ?
depends
i like this way more because it feels like i am actually doing something in the game

Wow you must have a lot of free time to put into video games. So jealous bro

@THEeternalllama I'm confused. Why watch videos about something you find boring?

I only understand like half of what you say. Practice English pronunciation if want to make reviews in English.
