  • Floor 2 Strategy: In this floor, so far as I can tell, there isn’t a penalty for not moving him every turn, so you don’t have to do that. The gimmick of this floor is that he’s immortal until you destroy the left and right stumps, so make sure to destroy those. If you destroy the middle one, you can’t destroy the side ones, so you have to reset. There are some phases where he stances if he’s on the left stump and doesn’t move while his stance is up, so if you’re using Zeldris over Meli, don’t let him stay on the left stump for too long. In the first phase, he applies food poisoning debuffs to your characters, and if any one character gets five or more food poisoning stacks, they are removed and a more dangerous, grey one is put in its place. Additionally, every two turns he starts his turn with an attack, and if none of your characters have any food poisoning stacks, he applies the grey one. Make use of Valenti’s passive debuff removal, Zeldris commandment, Liz cleanse, and/or Meli passive to keep your debuffs below 5 while making sure at least one unit has a debuff at the start of even-numbered turns. One grey debuff is removed when you push phase, so if you get one stack it isn’t the end of the run or anything, but try not to get too many. Destroy the left and right stumps, and then take him down. Phase 2 isn’t particularly complex, just keep attacking until the side stumps are down and he dies. When his hp falls below a certain threshold, he leaves the battlefield for a turn, which you can use to dump cards, heal, attack side stumps, etc. He returns on a random stump and debuffs you. If you single target a stump, it is marked. AOEing removes the mark, and single targeting a different stump moves the mark to the new stump. If he lands on a marked stump, he buffs you instead of debuffing you. The thing that makes your attack mark the stump is that it hits only one stump, not that it only targets one stump, so AOEs will apply the mark if only one stump is left. If you’re using Zeldris, saving his single targets for phase 3 may be a good idea. In phase 3, you have to destroy the side stumps again, as he’s tanky if you don’t. He has a weak point card which does a lot of damage if you’re debuffed, so try not to have debuffs on your team. Liz’s blue card buffs can help with survivability as well, so saving one from phase 2 could help here as well. He has a single target ult which removes buffs and stuns a character, which then makes the weak point do big damage to them. If you use Glox, you can probably just take it. If you’re using Shalltear like I am, use Zeldris single targets when he has his ult to make him lose ult gauge and prevent him from ulting. He can jump off the field like in the last phase as well, the stump marking thing works the same. If his hp falls below 33%, he full heals, but since he has a 30% damage cap, preventing this full heal is almost impossible, so you’ll likely just have to deal with it. Destroy the side stumps, then he shouldn’t be hard to take down.
