Hi, i just came accros your video and wanted to update my radio as well... however the installer "OpenTX Companion 2.1.9 - Windows Installer" seems not to be available anymore. By any chance, do you have still the file on your harddrive and might provide it to me? Would be very much appretiated. Txh for the vid + BR

I have a question (picked you because you seem to have done it recently). Did you get any server failure errors while trying to download the FW in the companion app?
I've been trying to figure it out for a few hours now, but whenever I try to compile it, I get that error.
@@gloopann I did it like three months ago. I had really no problems doing the flashing of my Turnigy 9X. That is why I really liked the video. I followed straight the steps.
@@antonioferreiro if it’s not too much to ask, could you try downloading the fw from the companion app and see if you get a server error? I just want to see if something broke in the meantime, because my friend also has the same issue

Hi, the latest stable open tx firmware for th9x is 2.1.9. yes er9x is also a very good option infact I'd say Better then open tx due to a lot more protocol options. I'd suggest your flash er9x and check 👍 Thanks for watching

Hey Rakish.. Apparently this tutorial of yours works well on my eurgle 9x.this is a 10 year old TX, i think similar to the turnigy 9x of th9x v1

@@RakishRc would u think that an elrs module will work on this TX like even without the lua as long as both tx and rx are binded already?
@@fishballfpv9063 no it's not possible. I contacted Mike who developed er9x for this radio..he said th9x has hardware limitations that prevent it from supporting elrs. So best you can use accst r9m with ppm mode..or tbs crossfire with ppm.

Hi, you can update to open tx. You will be able to use all aux switches in any manner you'd like from the mixer page. Which receiver you have?
I upgraded it by inserting a 9xtereme card into the flysky th fs-9x control. When I insert the usb, it appears as stm device in DFU mode instead of usbasp. how do i install opentx on this remote
I am not sure about the 9xtreme board but it seems either there's no os installed or boot menu is somehow activated. You can use st link usb device and flash the firmware using stm 32 cube programer or St link utility software. Try edgetx buddy website and connect your radio in dfu mode and select the firmware and see if it flashes

dear Rakish , i found programming card , now i bought 9x radio from some one , and who was using open tx 9x 2.0.15 version , you are expert , pls guide me the version already in my radio is good or ER9X VERSION IS GOOD or any othr version you think is good rather then these 2 firm ware ??? pls guide , programming card is good to attach in radio , so i can easily make set up for my plane or channel setting .

I have a TH9X that I tried to use with my Blade Nano S3 helicopter and the servos are in the wrong order. Will this Open TX firmware allow me change the order of the servos?
What I have now is: AIL, ELE, THR, RUD.
What I need is: THR, AIL, ELE, RUD.
The problem is that this helicopter has integrated receiver, flight controller and servos, so I can’t rearrange the connectors like with a regular receiver and servos.
Yes flash open tx will allow you to switch between various channel order options.
Once you have open tx firmware from radio Setup select TAER as channel order.
You may need to create custom mixes for heli setup or flash the firmware with heli option selected 👍

Hi, yes you should get it on AliExpress or any electronic website from your region. Search for usb asp programmer and you'll get it for about $3-$5. 👍

I am thinking to buy a th9x.but Confused between th9x or i6s. I also want to use r9m so th9x seems better deal for cheap
Hi, i am also about to get a r9m but seems er9x is the better option with th9x for r9m. Also if you plan to flash elrs on r9m then th9x will not be compatible. So my advise would be to get the qx7 if you can stretch your budget.
@@RakishRc I just need one tx for backup, I use my rfd900 for long range control. Will buy this th9x and r9m. Later if needed will opt for Qx7 or straight to a radiomaster t16s.
For a couple of months this should do the job.

Can the first version of FS-TH9X can be update the firmware?
Yes ofcourse you can. Open tx was originally developed and tested on the th9x.

@@leivinreec.dolenzo1099 yes it's exactly the same. Just make sure when you open the radio to solder the wires the sck pad is on the sixth pin from the chip. If it's on the 8th then you have the old version of the motherboard in that case you'll have to solder to the resistor on the 6th pin of the chip near sck pad. No because the radio doesn't have a stm chip. Use a usb asp programmer
