One of the most influential to bands in history. This song is later in their career after the passing of legendary drummer Keith Moon. Pete Townsend (guitar) is a genius songwriter and musical innovator. He sings lead on this song but that’s usually Roger Daltry’s job. John Entwistle playing the incredible bass. You should react to the entire Who’s Next album. It’s a masterpiece from start to finish.
Greetings from Canada. In the first rank of the "British Invasion": The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, and Pink Floyd. Loved all of them. Then Jethro Tull in 1968 and Zep came along in Jan 1969. My universe had all it needed until 10cc, Supertramp, Dire Straits, and Eurythmics. Good times. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
You mentioned Led Zeppelin, but if any other British band could give them a run for their money, it is The Who. For me it is toss up, their well is deep dig into it. They are "AA" class!
One interesting point: however many more Who songs you choose to hear, you won't hear another that's similar to Eminence Front. Great song, but unrepresentative.

Great song to do a reaction to for your first time listening to the Who. 1st time watching your channel. Impressive.
Funk meets Rock & Roll . The Bass line is over the top ridiculous. Glad I was there when it dropped

Not even close, The Who blew Led Zep off the stage at Merriweather `69 Plant said The Who was the best live band he ever saw.
I’ll always say that Zeppelin is my favorite but The Who is the best.
Nice video! Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!

If you've seen any of the CSI shows then you've heard a Who song.
The Who is an elite rock band, on par with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Velvet Underground
Great band still love led zeppelin first. But the who is great too.
