Great reaction Their catalog is huge and their talent is top quality They have won 3 of the 5 Grammys they have been nominated for. They also got a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023 Their ranges are insane Matt on the far left is the bass but he can go much higher Kevin on the right is the beatboxer percussionist . You would like so many of their songs as they do so many genres To see some awesome beatboxing their mashup of New Rules X Are You That Somebody? Their official video for Problem is amazing but their live performance at a radio station is other worldly Other options to see some different songs are Can’t Hold Us, Kiss From A Rose ( live VEVO) Their originals Sing and Love Again are fun Their 90’s Dance medley and the Evolution of Michael Jackson are great as well Welcome to the rabbit hole
Kevin (beatboxer) is extremely talented. Apart from being a fantastic beatboxer he is also a singer, world class cellist, musician and composer, and also speaks several languages including Mandarin Chinese. This group is stacked with talent.
Oh and in case that's not enough he also passed his medical exams but joined Pentatonix instead of practicing medicine! I'm sue one of the other Pentaholics will give you the details!
The members of Pentatonix. In this song: • First verse, tall blond guy: Scott Hoying, lyric baritone. Scott's range extends from about midway through a normal bass range to a fairly high tenor, probably about 5 or 6 octaves. When the bass solos Scott can and does take over the bass harmony line. • Second verse, dark haired guy next to Scott: Mitch Grassi (pronounced Grah'-see, emphasis on the first syllable), contratenor. Mitch has a range of just over 6 octaves, but he's most comfortable in his higher registers. He switches between chest voice, mixed voice, and head voice seamlessly, and is known for his ethereal high solos. Everyone in Pentatonix says he has the best voice of any of them. • Third verse, black guy in a white jacket on the far left: Matt Sallee (pronounced Suh-lee', emphasis on the second syllable), lyric bass. It's hard to be sure just what Matt's range is, because it's still growing. To find his current range I recommend listening to a live stream of "Hallelujah" from their most recent world tour, though you may want to watch their official video of "Hallelujah" first so you can hear what it sounded like with their original bass, Avi Kaplan, who left Pentatonix in 2017 for personal reasons. You can find the recording with Matt here: th-cam.com/video/FqphhPapkoc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tC6Ew07JGeQKQvDL Matt's arrangement of the second verse seems to be designed to show off his full range, which is fantastic. His lowest notes don't blow out speakers the way Avi's have done (though they may within a year or two), but on the high end he's very close to the top of a normal tenor range. • Fourth verse, the only woman in Pentatonix: Kirstin (also called Kirstie, which rhymes with thirsty) Maldonado, alto and soprano. Kirstin sings anywhere from a low alto (though not contralto, which is the female equivalent of baritone) through coloratura soprano, the highest female range. And she has whistle notes on top of that which are off the charts. Lately Pentatonix has begun referring to her as an "alto soprano." • The fifth member of Pentatonix is the black guy on the right: Kevin Olusola (pronounced Oh-loosh"-oh-luh', primary emphasis on the second syllable, secondary emphasis on the fourth syllable), beatboxer extraordinaire. Somewhere there may be a better beatboxer than Kevin, but if so I've never encountered him or her. Kevin is generally too busy being the entire percussion section to sing, but when he does sing he has a lovely tenor voice that occasionally dips into the uppermost reaches of baritone, and he's known for the beauty of his falsetto. He's also a pretty good rapper. Kevin has perfect pitch. He began piano lessons at age 4, cello at age 6, and alto saxophone at age 10. He beatboxes while playing the cello, a technique he calls "celloboxing." He performed at Carnegie Hall twice when he was a teenager, once on the cello and once on the saxophone. He graduated from Yale in 2011 with a pre-med major and had been accepted to Yale Medical School before he decided to become a professional beatboxer instead of a brilliant surgeon. He speaks five languages fluently: English, French, Spanish, German, and Mandarin Chinese. He's one of the kindest people in the world, and when he laughs he makes the whole planet seem like a brighter place. Matt joined Pentatonix in late 2017 or early 2018 (depending on how you figure it), after their original bass left the group for personal reasons in 2017. Which brings us to the one member of Pentatonix who doesn't appear in this video: • Bearded white guy who usually wore a beanie or stocking cap: Avi (pronounced Ah'-vee, emphasis on the first syllable) Kaplan, lyric bass. Avi is an operatically trained basso profundo - his lowest notes have blown out speakers in live performances - but his range extends upward to about the middle of the tenor range. Since leaving Pentatonix Avi has gone on to have an extremely successful solo career; I highly recommend subscribing to his TH-cam channel, which you can find here: youtube.com/@AviKaplanMusic The appearance of Mitch and Kirstin tends to vary greatly from one video to another, so people will frequently think they see someone new in Pentatonix when it's really Kirstin or Mitch. With these two, go by their voices, not their appearance; their voices don't lie. To be clear: Avi is the ONLY member who's left Pentatonix and Matt is the ONLY member who joined later. Scott, Mitch, and Kirstin are childhood friends from Arlington, Texas, and in high school they formed a trio which they unimaginatively named "The Trio." They performed frequently at school functions and occasionally on local television. For this reason, pentaholics (Pentatonix fans) still refer to them as "the trio," and the trio is the heart of Pentatonix.
#PTX has covered and written many songs. I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't find something in their catalog that you would connect with. Also, the vocal percussion is Kevin, just one guy.
IMHO there's nothing to be gained by comparing and saying one is "more authentic". Especially on the basis of a single example. That just leads to arguments which can't be "won" because it's all opinion. You can appreciate the uniqueness of each without dissing the other. I thoroughly enjoy HF. I like their genre and their personalities. But to me, they'll always come in 2nd place to PTX. Not for any rational reason but because I became invested in PTX first, following them thru the Sign-Off and rooting for them.
It's not commercial; it's a depth of feelings. It starts with the dark warning and ignorance and finishes with a commitment. Even in error, truth prevails This is the best, do say I.
I fear this reaction video won't be up for long. Pentatonix loves TH-cam reactions and reactors; they're well aware that reaction videos have helped to make them the success that they are today. Unfortunately, their copyrights are owned by their publisher, RCA, and RCA doesn't share their love of reaction videos. RCA is notorious for making copyright claims that get reaction videos taken down. The claims all seem to be about the video, not the music, and there are several strategies people use to keep their reactions up. Some people only react to live performances. This works, but it's limiting. In general, Pentatonix is as good live as they are in their official releases, but that's musically; there are a few of their official videos that have important video effects that can't be duplicated live. The most obvious one is "Imagine," but several others spring to mind. Also, if you only react to live performances you can't react to any "Behind the Scenes" or "Making of" videos. Another strategy is to pause the video frequently. This is probably a good idea (be sure to rewind a bit whenever you do this), but the definition of "frequent" is subjective so I don't recommend it as your only protection. What seems to work best is to slightly mask the video, combined with frequent pauses. Some people put a translucent "PENTATONIX" or "COPYRIGHT" over the video; others put what appears to be a window with raindrops on it over the video. Remember, the pentaholics are here to see your reaction, not the video - we've seen the video numerous times already. We only need to be able to see enough of it to be sure what exactly you're reacting to, in real time.
I'm Pentatonix all the way. I never get tired of them been to a couple of concert and can't wait to back. I recommend you watching them live. They are just as good. Pentatonix "Home" private performance.
I love Pentatonix, and they really have blazed the path for Home Free, VoicePlay etc. They won the Sing Off season 3 and Home Free won season 4. Pentatonix was always a pop/modern vibe, Home Free was country/blues feel good vibe and VoicePlay was Theatrical vibe. I prefer HF personally over all of them, but they ALL are amazing and the talent level is through the roof. Other favorites of mine from Pentatonix are "Bohemian Rhapsody, Daft Punk (blue contacts video) and My Favorite Things" just to name a few.
Although not the current combination of singers, Home Free has been around for a little over 20 years. Although they can lean country, that was at the insistence of The Sing Off producers, who said no to them on previous seasons as they wanted something different. Apparently when they applied again, it was suggested they enter a a "country" group, which they decided to do as it would help them gain more exposure. I also like and listen to them all for different reasons, but like many, Home Free's music resonates with me just a little more than the others.
You will love Pentatonix and their 'Daft Punk Medley', it won them a Grammy and has Kevin, their beat boxer showing off. They have tons of other songs, my usual recommendations are, Hallelujah, Imagine, Run to you, Sing, Kiss from a rose, and plenty of others.
Yes, they are definitely more commercialized, but that’s how you get an a cappella group to be able to fill arenas and stadiums around the world. I would say they have “evolved”. I’m glad you recognize their true talent. I hope to see more PTX reactions from you 👍🏻
There is quite the difference between Home Free and Pentatonix. And don't get me wrong I like Home Free. But they typically stick to one Genre of music which is primarily country. Where Pentatonix can sing anything and they do.
They are great. Super harmony and great voices. Very upbeat. Having said that, I still really like the version put out by 'Disturbed' live on Conan. It epitomizes the actual very dark meaning of the brilliant words Paul Simon wrote some 60 years ago. Back in those days it was played like a folk song (which was the style then) but I think Disturbed have captured the feeling and gravitas it deserves. Check it out.
I have noticed that because acapella is associated historically with amateur performances like school and church choirs, barbershop quartets and the like, anyone who deviates from very traditional music genres can be percieved as selling out, inauthetic, or too commercialized. Rather, I think that performing in mainstream music genres because those genres are the personal preference of the then teenage and young twenties aged singers is about as authentic as you can get. On the other hand, switching from performing a variety of musical styles to predominantly country so that you can perform on TV is obviously a deliberate strategy that came at the cost of HomeFrees previous musical tastes. No shade in that choice, I also work for money. But a less commercialized or more authentic choice it was not. I think Voiceplay is great at the dramatic, costumes & full makeup performances. Homefree does excellent country work, and Voctave is killer at full bodied chorale works, or anything that needs a full choir of voices or a stratospheric female descant. The Kings singers are my go to for religious, latin, or any musical work that predates the 20th century. Pentatonix is great with mainstream genres, like pop, rap, EDM or dance music. Can you imagine any other genre having to justify having 4-5 artists as all deserving of best in class awards? I can name over 10 greats in each of the pop, rap, country, and rock genres...this simply isnt a fight we need to have.
Welcome to the long winding road of Pentatonix, you are in for the journey of your life 😊 Pentatonix never ceases to amaze me, at just how incredibly talented they are, and take their voices to newer levels, we have never heard before.....there is something so special about their ability, to tell the songs story, allowing us to listen with a new perspective, and hear & feel emotions, we may not have heard from the original artist 💖💖💖 Not only their voices, but their delivery is also their gift!
Pentatonix is theatre. They are all theatre vocalists. Homegrown is bluegrass which is completely different. They share acapela between them but two completely different genres. Yes, there different genres of acapela music.
If you dig this, you should absolutely check out the Sound of Silence cover done by Disturbed. It's amazing. The official video is great, while the live performance is also great, but slightly marred by the station's choosing to run it through pitch correction (hard to catch, really) over the band's wishes. Despite David Draiman being pretty sick that night, which is why he's sitting for the performance. You should also pull up The Big Push doing their original, Swan Song. They've got some amazing harmony going between Gorran, Ren, and Romain.
Subscribed. If you decide to continue down this rabbit hole you can expect a LOT of new subscriptions; Pentatonix fans are enthusiastic about reaction videos to anything our favorite band puts out. Some useful terminology: • pentaholic = Pentatonix fan • PTX = abbreviation for Pentatonix - extremely useful in searches • the trio = Kirstin, Mitch, and Scott • Mitch slap = what you gat the first time you realize how incredible Mitch's voice is. • Avi-lanche = like a Mitch slap, except with Avi instead of Mitch. KO = like a Mitch slap or Avi-lanche, except with Kevin Olusola. (Note: You never become immune to Mitch slaps, Avi-lanches, KOs, or the similar, un-named things that Kirstin, Scott, and Matt do. They always have the ability to surprise us.) Regarding 153 million views, that isn't quite the same thing as 153 million people having watched it. A lot of us have watched it more than once, and each of those counts as a "view." It's still an impressive number, of course. You can't go wrong listening to anything Pentatonix has released; it's all gorgeous. But all pentaholics have our own personal favorites that we like to recommend. These are some of my favorites: • "Hallelujah" (the official video, with Avi) • "Hallelujah" ( a recent live performance, with Matt: th-cam.com/video/FqphhPapkoc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tC6Ew07JGeQKQvDL ) • "Imagine" (the official video) • "The Prayer" • "Bohemian Rhapsody" • "Run To You" (an original, written by Avi and Kevin) • "Happy Now" (another original) • "Daft Punk Medley" (their first Grammy winner - this is the "blue eye" video you remember) • "O Come All Ye Faithful" • "O Holy Night" (they did a totally new recording for their 2023 Christmas album; you can find the official video here: th-cam.com/video/ReJAU2mXm8w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=upj2Q3vLqigVEtgm ) • "Pure Imagination / Christmas Time is Here" (preferably the live Vevo recording) • "Kiss From a Rose" (preferably the live Vevo recording) • "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" • "The Lucky Ones" (an original, written by Scott) • "Thank You" (an original, written by Scott and his then fiancé, now husband, Mark Manio Hoying, shortly after the end of COVID lockdown, about how much easier it was to get through that time because they were together) • "The Kevin Show/Kevin's Fifth." This is a live feed from a concert they gave in Owensboro, Kentucky, Kevin's home town: th-cam.com/video/DbCasvcNx78/w-d-xo.html and this is the very special performance of "Kevin's Fifth" (without "The Kevin Show") from Kevin's birthday in 2022: th-cam.com/video/7m0g7xThIWs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=99F7iG5qkdgPCm43 Additionally, IF you're familiar with _"The Wizard Of Oz"_ (the 1939 movie starring Judy Garland), I recommend "Todrick Hall - The Wizard of Ahhhs (ft. Pentatonix)": th-cam.com/video/QkVeKb2igrg/w-d-xo.html If you've never seen the movie it won't make sense, so take care of that first. One advantage to reacting to "The Wizard of Ahhhs" is that you won't need to obscure the video to avoid copyright claims. Most of Pentatonix's copyrights are owned by their publisher, RCA, and RCA is notorious for getting reaction videos taken down over copyright issues, but the copyrights for "The Wizard of Ahhhs" are owned by Todrick Hall, and Todrick seems to be more interested in good publicity than in stomping on innocent reactors. (I regret to say that Todrick has gotten a lot of bad publicity since he made "The Wizard of Ahhhs," for very good reasons; he appears to be something of a jerk. But making copyright claims against other TH-camrs isn't one of his vices.)
Homefree was actually together much longer than PTX. They were already a professional group that played State fairs ect when they went on the Singoff. They have had several different lineups and are primarily country. PTX core members were just out of High School when they won the Singoff. The Trio of Scott, Mitch and Kirstin actually were in choir together. Without going into too much history PTX had to promote themselves and used TH-cam to gain a following. They are by far the biggest success of any Acapella group with three Grammys and multiple international tours and television appearances and albums. To compare them commercially is like comparing Taylor Swift to Sabrina Carpenter. PTX are so much bigger. So of course everything now a days is more professionally done with a record label behind them. Homefree has never enjoyed that kind of success so their budgets for a video are much lower and might feel warmer to you.
People are always comparing Home Free to PTX like the commenter that you mentioned. There's no comparison because they are in different worlds and different jonres with their music. All I have to say is, who has the 3 Grammys, the 5 Grammy nominations, and the Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? It ain't Home Free. And I don't mean to sound like a snob, but Pentatonix just has a more worldwide, sophisticated audience. Peace.
Comments comparing Pentatonix and Home Free make laugh. Home Free wouldn't have been known at all without Pentatonix. When Home Free and Voice Play competed on the Sing Off, their season happened SOLELY because of the success Pentatonix made for themselves after winning their season. The Sing Off had been canceled after PTX's season. Yes, PTX is more commercial because they do pop music, they always did. And of course they're so much more successful than any other a capella group in history. Home Free themselves have said they've drawn inspiration from PTX. Bottomline, PTX is the reason you all even know who Home Free are.
Man... speaking about the talent in Pentatonix Search "Down (Marian Hill KOver) Kevin Olusola" GENIUS ... and "Right up your alley" (London accent 😉) (Kevin is on your right Black jacket) Then Show Anthony.
Nothing more useless than advocating for one a cappella group over another. I give PTX high marks for the range of music they do. After all, their three Grammys are in three different genres of music. What genres of music are the Grammys won by other groups in?
I guess it comes down to personal preference. I feel more emotion and depth with Pentatonix. In my opinion, Home Free is good, but Pentatonix is exceptional.
Scott says the same thing in every PTX reaction video. I'm beginning to think he is paid to say that. Changing your name doesn't help if you say the exact same thing every time. Home free is good for what they do, but cannot hold a candle to the raw talent of PTX.
PENTATONIX is TOP TIER A capella it's been proven for years! Because you are "new " to these groups you're going to get "homefront" and "horseplay" people going on PTX reactions "trying" to convince you that those groups are better than PENTATONIX. I hope YOU see who you like without being influenced. They are different groups! You like who you like! Personally, I can't stand homefront and don't care for horseplay. The biggest issue is their fans! Okay so you think your group is good! Good for you! Go and support them. Why are you at a PTX reaction? The other 2 groups must need a lot of help for their fans to be so desperate to get them noticed 😅
I enjoyed your reaction. Word of advice take it or leave it really try hard not to use acapella and barbershop quartet in the same sentence. Another reactor did that on the first video they reacted to and it took almost a year for him to live it down
PTX has far more technical skill than HF. Not trying to start 💩, but if you understand the technical side, you'll understand this comment. HF is good, but they rely on lots of layering to achieve the effect they have.
Their Hallelujah cover has over 700M now
One newish one- Kiss from a Rose- will show Kevin (beatboxer), beatboxing while shredding the electric cello!
Great reaction Their catalog is huge and their talent is top quality They have won 3 of the 5 Grammys they have been nominated for. I LOVE Dimash, l LOVE Dimash, l LOVE Queen, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder & Phentatonix too.
Thanks so much 🙏🏼🫶🏼
I GUARANTEE you won't say that about their cover of Hallelujah. You can't judge by one song. They are as good (actually better) than Home Free.
People say KO couldn't possibly make those percussion sounds without studio enhancement, but there you go replicating them on the fly. Cool talent.
New video "Kiss From A Rose." Stupendous! And Kevin plays his cello.
Kevin (beatboxer) is extremely talented. Apart from being a fantastic beatboxer he is also a singer, world class cellist, musician and composer, and also speaks several languages including Mandarin Chinese. This group is stacked with talent.

you gotta watch Love Again....amazing house tune
their bohemian rhapsody, mary did you know, amazing grace are all fantastic, they also do a ton of more modern songs

Insane yup to say the least. Check out next Hallelujah. Why the comparison tho?? Pentatonix is the OG's of Acapella.

He's seen Daft Punk. The "blue eyes" song he referred to in his intro.
Hallelujah, The Prayer, Amazing Grace, Bohemian Rhapsody - will all blow your mind. I'll subscribe but I only watch Pentatonix or Home Free reviews.
Yes, they are definitely more commercialized, but that’s how you get an a cappella group to be able to fill arenas and stadiums around the world. I would say they have “evolved”. I’m glad you recognize their true talent. I hope to see more PTX reactions from you 👍🏻

Welcome... Enjoy the ride!
Subbed for more PTX reactions.
You should check out them doing bohemian rhapsody
A kiss from a rose
Hallelujah
They are soo good
You will love those
I promise!!
Pentatonix is theatre. They are all theatre vocalists. Homegrown is bluegrass which is completely different. They share acapela between them but two completely different genres. Yes, there different genres of acapela music.
Beautiful. I also like Disturbed and their darker interpretation of the song.
Great reaction!! More more PTX!
Kevin is doing all the beat boxing. He is the guy on the far right and he’s a musical geniys
Some useful terminology:
• pentaholic = Pentatonix fan
• PTX = abbreviation for Pentatonix - extremely useful in searches
• the trio = Kirstin, Mitch, and Scott
• Mitch slap = what you gat the first time you realize how incredible Mitch's voice is.
They always have the ability to surprise us.)
Regarding 153 million views, that isn't quite the same thing as 153 million people having watched it. A lot of us have watched it more than once, and each of those counts as a "view." It's still an impressive number, of course.
You can't go wrong listening to anything Pentatonix has released; it's all gorgeous. But all pentaholics have our own personal favorites that we like to recommend. These are some of my favorites:
• "Hallelujah" (the official video, with Avi)
• "Hallelujah" ( a recent live performance, with Matt: th-cam.com/video/FqphhPapkoc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tC6Ew07JGeQKQvDL )
• "Imagine" (the official video)
• "The Prayer"
• "Bohemian Rhapsody"
• "Run To You" (an original, written by Avi and Kevin)
• "Happy Now" (another original)
• "Daft Punk Medley" (their first Grammy winner - this is the "blue eye" video you remember)
• "O Come All Ye Faithful"
• "O Holy Night" (they did a totally new recording for their 2023 Christmas album; you can find the official video here: th-cam.com/video/ReJAU2mXm8w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=upj2Q3vLqigVEtgm )
• "Pure Imagination / Christmas Time is Here" (preferably the live Vevo recording)
• "Kiss From a Rose" (preferably the live Vevo recording)
• "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch"
• "The Lucky Ones" (an original, written by Scott)
• "Thank You" (an original, written by Scott and his then fiancé, now husband, Mark Manio Hoying, shortly after the end of COVID lockdown, about how much easier it was to get through that time because they were together)
• "The Kevin Show/Kevin's Fifth." This is a live feed from a concert they gave in Owensboro, Kentucky, Kevin's home town: th-cam.com/video/DbCasvcNx78/w-d-xo.html and this is the very special performance of "Kevin's Fifth" (without "The Kevin Show") from Kevin's birthday in 2022: th-cam.com/video/7m0g7xThIWs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=99F7iG5qkdgPCm43
Additionally, IF you're familiar with _"The Wizard Of Oz"_ (the 1939 movie starring Judy Garland), I recommend "Todrick Hall - The Wizard of Ahhhs (ft.
The 156M does not include all of the people who have watched it multiple times on reaction vids
❤ Amazing 🖤
Hi Lou 😀😀
@@jukeboxdave6026❤ hello my lovely 🤟
Maybe not 156 million people, because I am sure people like me have watched it at least 1000 times.
I love PTX the most! I think because there's a female voice in here which Home Free doesn't have. Love Home Free too, tho.
Peace.
Just perfect!!
If you like A Capella you really should try Voctave, they are definitely the Disneyesque experts (truly orchestral)
Man... speaking about the talent in Pentatonix
Search "Down (Marian Hill KOver) Kevin Olusola"
GENIUS ... and "Right up your alley" (London accent 😉)
(Kevin is on your right Black jacket)
Then Show Anthony.
Ditto this Kevin has an insane amount of musical talent
You know it's good when you make the stank face LOL!
Listen to more PTX and then determine whether you can connect to them --
As incredibleas this is, Disturbed Version is my favorite! I highly recommend watching it!
Nothing more useless than advocating for one a cappella group over another. I give PTX high marks for the range of music they do. After all, their three Grammys are in three different genres of music. What genres of music are the Grammys won by other groups in?
Oh, have the others won Grammys?
That's Kevin...
⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥⚡⚡
I guess it comes down to personal preference. I feel more emotion and depth with Pentatonix. In my opinion, Home Free is good, but Pentatonix is exceptional.
Scott says the same thing in every PTX reaction video. I'm beginning to think he is paid to say that. Changing your name doesn't help if you say the exact same thing every time. Home free is good for what they do, but cannot hold a candle to the raw talent of PTX.
❤❤
Forget the Kind Rock ELVIS 😊
I just love music, Pentatonix, Home Free, VoicePlay they're all really good respectively :)
@@EshplumeReacts I'm glad you see it for yourself. I'm here for ALL your PTX reactions. Plus ALL members have solo/side projects as well 😉
If you really need something else to appreciate Kevins beatboxing, listen their version of Bohemian Rhapsody.
I enjoyed your reaction. Word of advice take it or leave it really try hard not to use acapella and barbershop quartet in the same sentence. Another reactor did that on the first video they reacted to and it took almost a year for him to live it down
Enjoy the rabbit hole.. lol ....... But since you're a Pro Beatboxer, PLEASE check out Kevin's Fifth. {Chef Kiss}
You need to listen to Home Free
Daft Punk video...
PTX has far more technical skill than HF. Not trying to start 💩, but if you understand the technical side, you'll understand this comment. HF is good, but they rely on lots of layering to achieve the effect they have.
I love Pentatonix but do not like Home Free in the least. Thank you.
