Marcelito speaks very little English and no Italian. There are many similarities between his primary language (Filipino) and Spanish because the Philippines was under Spain for over 300 years. If you can enunciate in Spanish then Italian should be fairly easy.

This is probably not the same thing (?), but If you want to hear a great video by Dimash that just came out (I didn't see it on your play list so I don't think you've done it) is SOS with Hauser on the cello. Everyone always says Dimash's voice sounds a lot like a string instrument and with this version of the song, you can really tell that he sounds so much like a violin. Thank you for your great reactions👍. Dimash is fluent in two languages. His mother tongue is Kazakh and Russian. His English is also very good by now and he is constantly improving it. He also knows and understands a few words in Mandarin. But he can sing in about 15-16 languages but he does it phonetically. The pronunciation in this video was correct. In Russian, an -ov (Kudaibergenov) is added to the last name. In Kazakh it is called Qudaibergen. This and the different letter K-Q in his last name make the difference (Kudaibergen-Russian/Qudaibergen-Kazakh). There is no letter Q in Russian Alfabeth (Cyrillic). He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I love these mythical sounds. You will immediately be transported into an oriental adventure film. The instrument used here is the Qobyz and it was a great idea by Dimash to use that here. The Qobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the Qobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. In the end of Stranger he introduced him to the audience and he thanked them. He performed this song on the same show as Ave Maria, just not on the same day. As a Kazakh he speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 ​​octaves F1-F6 I think).
