I have found, over the last few years especially, people are now appearing with blindingly white teeth. To be honest I think they look like freaks. Our addiction to perfection is pitiful and disturbing. As someone who was a smoker and is still a coffee drinker I have have done things all my life to try and prevent too much staining but there are limits people. A little bit of self esteem would probably make the world of difference.

Stawberries, Watermelon. and dairy products help whiten your teeth. I ate a lot of cheese during the pandemic with foods and stuff and my teeth were almost close to being white.
Do not eat too much cheese, cholesterol will be terribly high. Our friend died eating too much cheese.
Dairy products are whitened to look nicer to the consumer..quite toxic.. be wary.

Since being young I've had a problem with yellow teeth. Even though I've tried to look after them really well. I just don't know what to do. I used to try all kinds of whitening. None worked. I've given up visiting the dentist because they're always so patronising and never give me solution. The last time I went, years ago, just for a clean, the dentist was so rough and hurt me. All they seem to be passionate about is taking money off me and I just haven't got money to spend on something that leaves me incredibly unsatisfied.
I brush in the morning for 3 minutes, I brush before bed for 3 minutes. I use mouthwash after meals but my teeth look horrid. I hate smiling unless it's for a photo because I know I can use the beauty setting to whiten.

Don’t forget to floss once before bed as well. I would recommend saving for teeth whitening procedure but also just stay away from food and drinks that are known to keep teeth yellow
Just make sure you don’t brush too hard or excessive because it can cause your teeth to look yellow. You can brush away your enamel and cause the yellow dentin inside to show.
Dentists, dermatologists, pychiatrists are like that it's very difficult to find good professionals today.

Scary and eye-opening 😯So rinsing / brushing the teeth directly after having a coffee should limit the damage significantly, right? What about having coffee after having applied bleach during the night? Can I still do that as long as I brush or rinse my teeth right afterwards?
I have read that brushing right after coffe/tea or anything acidic weaken teeth enamel, therefore brushing immediately after consumption can cause erosion. So you should wait about 30 minutes after eating something acidic to brush your teeth safely.

My baby teeth were pearly white.
When my adult teeth came in, they were yellow. Never changed. Since they came in that way--obviously it was nothing I was eating. So what is it?
I have had years-long issues with acid reflux (until put on proton pump inhibitors) and subsequentially have had issues with teeth fracturing, etc. I don't think teeth whiting products would be a good option. Doubt the common teeth whitening products would fully address this....and I'm concerned that the whitening chemicals would only make matters worse.
Insurance does NOT cover crowns/veneers and probably not cosmetic procedures either.
BTW I don't think I sustained any oral damage as a young child.
I read somewhere that floridated water caused discoloration of children's permanent teeth even before they erupt.
PS--no offense but I've always disliked going to the dentist--but had regular care growing up.
The outer layer of the teeth is healthier as a kid as the teeth are “brand new”. As you get older, the outer layer (white layer) slowly goes way if you brush too much or too harshly, or simply eat “bad foods”. My younger brother, 3, has perfect white teeth and so did I and everyone else as babies.

It's not about the bad foods you eat only but the lack of food your body needs. Like calcium and vit d.

I brush my teeth 3x’s a day and I have some 3D crest whitening strips that use hydrogen peroxide and I do that in the morning before I brush my teeth

What do you think about these cleanings at the dentist does I don’t like it I feel like the grinding away my teeth. I don’t wanna go anymore. I’m just trying to take care of myself. Yes, some drugs, not all, can cause damage to teeth if taken long term, I think they mostly 'hurt' by stealing trace minerals( just like sugar does) and certain vitamins like D and K from our systems. Blood thinners might be some of the worst for teeth..

in all these teeth whitening videos they always talk about removing stains and nobody seems to get it that it's not stains. for most people the natural color of teeth is not "white white", the yellow tint is the dentin which shows through the enamel. So you can scrub til doomsday and it's not doing anything but wearing down the enamel. I'm convinced the only thing that works is getting them bonded or veneers. Maybe the zoom works but that is not an "at home" option and I'm not sure if it would cause sensitivity. But I make my point, almost never is it about "stains".

Why do my teeth have more yellowing around the gumline area?? I cannot get rid of that yellow colour no matter what. People have asked if I smoke, which I don't and never have. I use those strips but it never whitens the areas of the teeth near the gumlines, both upper and lower. It's as though my teeth are outlined with a yellow crayon. It isn't super bad but I'd like them to be white, top and bottom, and the entire tooth.
maybe your enamel is naturally thinner there or a bad dental cleaning session might have caused it (?) Have you asked a professional about it? Have you had a dental cleaning that didn't manage to get rid of that discoloration?

White strips aren't really great at making an even whitening happen. If you do use them then dry your teeth with a paper towel and make sure the strips stay in contact with each of your teeth completely covering them the entire time you wear them, you may have to constantly press them back on. The gel whitening trays are even worse because a lot of the time the gel doesn't reach the gum line leaving an area unwhitened.
Maybe it's part of the root showing. Do you have sensitivity too?
If you don't get your teeth cleaned on a regular basis you can develop plaque buildup along the gums. That might be your problem.

My experience of Zoom was white as...but I had crazy stabbing nerve pains over the next 24hrs. Zoom recommends you dont drive because of this. So make sure you get drunk straight away (on white wine).

The at-home "professional" trays eroded my teeth(not related to this particular dentist). I wonder if the Zoom Whitening would also have a chance at eroding my teeth🤔
It still uses hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide in combination with blue light to whiten. So yes, it erodes the enamel if done too frequently.
Hi. Doc...please help am so stressed went to visit a dnetsit last Thursday and she told I lost my enamel hence my teeth are yellow...please give me some recommendations I cannot even smile because it is embarrassing...
There are white teeth subliminal vids. / Perfect teeth or something. Lots of amazing success comments with some. They come up on feed with other things I was checking out and I checked on some. Must restore enamel. Interesting. I don’t believe what most professionals say anyway. No I haven’t tried those- I might another time. Cavity ones seemed to help, definitely plus sapien med lymphatic drainage loop overnight a few nights then a couple hours here and there. And C salts powder(6000 mg / day now) and upped my vit d3 k2(40,000/day) -teeth filling in. Yay. Also swish with hydrogen peroxide straight. Someone said in a comment 4-6000 vit c actually grows teeth so yeah, maybe. Floss and curved scaling tool. At night. In morning now I just water brush in gentle circle motion. Going to heal my gut better to help the plaque that keeps coming around tho next.
I like white teeth; however, I have seen people who have bleached their teeth so white it looks unnatural. I see this a lot with people who wear dentures or have a mouth full of implants. I think there is a happy medium.

Can y'all explain this? I have a growing tooth back then and it came out as white as snow but my other teeth were kind of yellowish but the new tooth was whiter than the rest of my tooth. But after like a week or so, I noticed my New tooth started to turn yellow like the rest of my teeth. Idk why that happened. Can I still get my teeth whiter again?

I don't remember my teeth ever being white, not even when I was a kid. The last 5 years I've been really doing my best to take care of them and wow what a difference! But they still aren't white....
They're almost kinda of transparent yellow and have diagonal lines through them.

I had Beautiful teeth! Then no ins n ya'll are more than a Dr! But I inherited periodontal disease. They said that they can't whiten my teeth. Bc they said the top is a filling! But it's bc my gums n bone are detiorating!! Wth!? I know there has to be something I can do.😢
Gave up my electric tooth brush and flossing and went for Elie’s dental program. Gums stopped receding, my mouth is cleaner with mouth wash and brushing with just basic crest tooth paste. Most whiteners damage the enamel. Do more research folks.

Go to the dentist and ask them every question you have. Also, book a cleaning, and do everything the dentist tells you.
For bleeding gums take vitamin C, brush with tea tree oil toothpaste and swish with tea tree oil mouthwash. Its a natural antibiotic and healed my gum issues instead of having expensive laser treatment. Not sure about whitening, Im still looking myself.

If your teeth has that little yellow tint, that yellow tint is actually the tooth enamel, and that will make the teeth more durable but if you have too much yellow tint on your teeth, making it to yellow didn’t that’s too bad Cuz that means it has cavities I probably think
