Your 4 x 4ing trip was interesting in a burn out forest. Pups like you were having fun in God's country. May the regrowth come soon. Thanks for your outings 😊 arth
Those hoople heads on the back of the quad looked tuckered out after the run! 😂👍 Hey, Mike - just wanted to say I was sorry to hear about poor Simon. You sure gave him one good dawg life, that’s for sure. Good to see the old stomping grounds again too.
Glad to see you back.. This is how I know you, glad you brought the dogs. Sorry to hear about Simon. you gave him a great life. 😢 Hope to see more of these God bless you.
I felt your happiness being back in " your forest". Very much enjoyed watching your video and I could almost feel the presence of an argo nearby !! This is like coming back to basic, coming back home. It will be very interesting to witness, through your videos, the forest coming back to life again. Emporium Outdoors is back !!! Take care mon ami and I hope your wife is doing well too.
Such a great video especially with Esme taking her place as the main character and the one telling Lizzie how to react to the ride. One of the best memories ever of Ms. Esme. Wishing you and family the best, and letting the Outdoor Gods lead you into a new chapter. Peace ✌🏻 Clint.
Wow, that's going to take some time for it all to recover, but new growth is coming. Nice to see you're able to be back in your old stomping grounds, Michael. Got a little wood-knocking going on there? Hairy man creeping about? Just, NO Dogman allowed. I hope you saw/picked up your ditty bag that fell from the chainsaw as you were filming your departure from camp. Nice trip with the pups. Esme will mentor Lizzy along. God bless you, my friend.
So good to see you doing the old style camping again in your old stomping grounds. Tragic to see it all burnt out like that. There’s a great camping spot in the upper peninsula that I like to go to that is also burnt like that. It looks like another world, but it’s been about 10 years and things are really coming up again. I’m hoping to get up there soon. So sorry to hear about Simon my friend, but you gave him the best life ever. Cheers and I can’t wait for new adventures in the old stomping grounds.
Yea - The old circle of life for the forest and for Simon 😢 But Life goes on and new adventures are abound! I hope you get out a few times this summer in the FJ! 👍
Keep up the videos like this. Your old videos are the reason why I decided to buy my pioneer 500. Put 27” tire underneath it and it’s an awesome machine for the high desert in southern Oregon.
“They’re going to be wonderful in the hammock tonight. Gonna smell like wet dogs.” Would you have it any other way. Great to see you out on an adventure like this again. THIS is what we have been missing. Take care.
Thank you, Michael, for another great video. Though nothing like the fire damage you had there, the Forest Preserve District near me does "prescribed" burning in different areas every few years (they put up signs saying "not to call 911"). I am always suprised to see how quickly the forest recovers after the burning. You will see a lot more greenery everytime you go there. Always interesting to see the new growth. Lizzie and Esme had a great time. I'm sure they both slept very well! Best Regards, Kevin
0430 good to see the team back to some boggy driving and not in a huge Jeep. I shall now hunker down to watch the rest of your presentation. In a homage to Back to the Future, I'm half expecting you to be sleeping in the KAMP-RITE Tent Cot!
You mentioned spices, they sell little travel size Montreal Steak spice at Dollarama. I have one for my ATV and kayak camping trips. They may have Montreal Chicken spice as well, worth a look. Like your videos, keep up the great work!
So if you go left and follow the road before the swamp crossing you should stay out of the burn area. Follow the old road until it ends at an over grown well site. There are some new trails cut out that connect some other cut blocks. These trails go around a small lake/pond which might be of interest to you if you like that area. I have not explored all of them but they looked interesting at least as of last year.
Hey ! Good to see ya back in your happy place ! haha I had a 360 Prairie back in the day, it was a great little machine, like you said it would go anywhere and was very light. I loved the fork, I thought you did a great job with that. Cheers !
I think if you had relocated to Calgary it might have different, I go hunting up the forestry trunk road towards Nordegg there is some spectacular country up there and plus close to Livingston and Porcupine.
Great to see you back out with the dogs. Looked like you had a good time. @47.42 it looked like something fell off the back of the quad. Did you find it when going back for the camera. 😎🇬🇧
It was sure nice that the dogs were willing to chaperone you on your overnight camping. I hope you behaved yourself so they are willing to take you out again…….😘😉
As always, another great video. Just wondering about the helmet with that type of face shield…. How do you like it for keeping crap out of your eyes while on the trail?
Actually its not bad at all - It does give full face protection from "whipping" branches but can be set to just cover the dark shield beneath. I don't think it was expensive either.

Hi Michael,
You are correct, these are the type of videos that got us hooked (and a bit jealous 😁).
Kind regards
Alain
Glad you enjoyed it 😄 I just love it out in the bush 😊
Great to see the long format back! Looking forward to your upcoming adventures with Lizzie and Esme! 🐶 🏕️ 🔥 ❤
Hope you enjoyed it!
Glad to see you back.. This is how I know you, glad you brought the dogs. Sorry to hear about Simon. you gave him a
great life. 😢 Hope to see more of these God bless you.
So nice to see you back up North . Very sad to see your favorite spot burned down but at least you found a spot close by.
Sad to see the old campsite burnt out, but what a great video.
Wildfires sure change the landscape. Nice to see that things are starting to grow again.

Hahahaha Argo quietly stalking me 😆 - Too funny! and thank you!
Nice to see you back in your happy place mate that was awesome 👍

I almost lost that knife and bag!!! I saw it when I went to get the camera 😅

I was missing it too! And they did smell "wet dog" for a while anyways 😄
Great to see this look again…
Welcome back 😄
Glad to see that you’re getting back to the good old content the only thing that would make it better is the P500
Good to see the three of you back out.

Looked like a great camping adventure with Esme and Lizzy! I'm sure they enjoyed the steak dinner as well. Thanks for bringing us along.
Our pleasure!
I like your campout videos
Thanks so much!!
Great video and yes I enjoy the longer format.
Nice video, I enjoyed the longer format and going back to the early days of watching your channel.
Awesome, thank you!

I keep a 1oz nalgene container in my haversack with a 50/50 mix of seasoning salt and garlic powder in it… it’s come in handy more than a few times 😁
Good idea!! I just forgot all my cooking stuff 😆

Thanks for the info!! I'm looking forward to exploring more this year to find the end of the burn!! Might see you out there 😉
Man I've missed these types of videos! So happy to see them back!! Cant wait for more!!
Looks little spooky like post apocalypses. On the plus side lots of wood for the fire. Be safe!
It kinda did!!! Moon scape almost and lots of easy wood for burning 🔥
Tragic to see the burned trees, but understandable with a healthy forest. Good to see you out there with the doggies.
There is so much land up there, I'll have to explore more and find new places, so more adventure to come!
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors Will enjoy seeing you explore. Thanks.

Thanks buddy - It was nice to be out again with the light weight ATV setup 😄 Hope you and Wendell are enjoying the summer! 👍
Love to see y'all out again
Nice to see you back where it started
More to come!

Nice...!!! like always,,
Thanks a lot 😊
💯 Thanks
You bet!
awesome camp out
Glad to see you back in this area
Me too! 👍
Great to see you back out with the dogs. Looked like you had a good time. @47.42 it looked like something fell off the back of the quad. Did you find it when going back for the camera. 😎🇬🇧
Well spotted and I left that in to see if anyone noticed 😄 - I did get it! 👍
Now instead of a fork that's a twok!
Something fall off the back of the vehicle as you pulled away from camp? Hope you found it when recovering the camera. Thanks for a great vid!
Well spotted! My knife and bag but I went back to get the camera and I found it!! 😅
enjoyed the video as always. @ 47:41 something fell off the back of the bike.
Sorry I see someone else commented on it already.
I see you dropped your sling with the knife as you were leaving
