Yikes Michael! That's two spills within a short period of time! My gut said NO just as soon as you dismounted and picked Esme up, I just had one of those feelings a spill was about to happen. Glad you're both ok, that could've been a bad one.
I know right!!! It's part of the active lifestyle. If you do things and leave the couch you're gonna hurt yourself occasionally. I'm pretty careful generally but this was was a surprise 😆
I cringed when you and Esme took the dive off the trailer. What a relief when you got up okay. I've done the same from my trailer getting off my Polaris. I then started parking it all the way to one side so I can walk alongside it and down the ramp. Do you have a cell signal there or carry an emergency sat device? All the best Michael, stay safe!
I only mounted that spare tire a few months ago and totally forgot it was there! I carry a Garmin Mini Sat device for location sharing, TXT messaging and SOS if I really get into a bad situation. Its a must if you are camping solo in areas with no cell coverage, especially in winter 👍

Simon is really slowing down now but he's doing well - thanks so much for asking. He prefers to sleep in late and just do his own thing now. Having a break from Lizzy is also something I think he enjoys 😄
Thats a good question. An ATV is much more manoeuvrable than most UTVs and less likely to get stuck, so it's great for getting around. For me a side by side was necessary to carry my dog and extra gear. My heated cab CanAm Defender with the tracks was amazing but I always missed my little P500. The P500 was almost like a quad but had the extra seat, some shelter and more carry capacity. I'm enjoying the older ATV right now but I'll probably go back to a small Side by Side in the future BUT I'll be keeping the quad as its just a reliable little gem 👍
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors thanks for the response. I’ve only owned atvs and wondered about the little 500 as it seemed like the best of both worlds. I think I’ll keep my atv as it fits in the back of my Ford Ranger, and I definitely wouldn’t be able to put a side by side in my little truck.

I hunt with a Honda Atv, just wondering what you prefer, an atv or your old side by side Honda Pioneer? Btw, great vid, thanks for sharing!
