tiny homes reminds me of a cartoon comedy. definitely takes a special relationship to live in such tight quarters. I do enjoy campers and the idea of tiny homes, but I still prefer a bigger house/condo with room to roam around. I live in Asia and when I mean bigger, it's definitely smaller compared to American idea of bigger. I think the idea of creating tiny/small homes whether it be rv/home/bus, it's all about making them ideal to suit and meet one's needs. Good job guys.

Just purchased my fourth vintage trailer. A small one that will soon be craned into my back yard and used as my space, as I continue to rent out rooms in my house- preparing and easing myself out to my gorgeous vacant Scottsdale land, where the 25’ vintage Spartan trailer will be the main home (for a few years at least). I also have two different sized restored vintage trailers to travel with and, one day, that will be the main thrust of my existence 🤞

I like the bucket for a step. I never thought of that! You could hang a sheet for the two kids when they sleep so they could have some privacy. And, for bathroom, too. Accordion doors cut to fit might fit the bathroom.

Airstream's are only made in one place in the entire United States, and that is Jackson Center, Ohio! Twenty minutes from where I grew up. Now I live 500 miles away and whenever I see one I know EXACTLY where it came from and I get SO excited!

@@daniboltz5791 I've never actually been inside the factory lol. I've passed it from the road and I've seen the small town about a million times though...and I'm not sure why I never actually took a tour. Probably because at the time I didn't really grasp how cool and unique it all was! Lol!
Love the Hudson's Bay blanket on your bed! It really fits your place. Hope you can close in your woodshop so it won't be so cold in the winter!

Later living in a larger trailer home it was good having come from a humungous historic mansion. You both have wonderful wood ideas and that dog is the highlight of my day. Thank you.

This is a very innovative renovation. The glass door provides a nice separation for the bed, and who would have thought about removing the closet and making it into a space for the fridge. My parents owned an Airstream (1976), and this just shows what creativity can do to perk up a classic, but older design. Nice job!

Its beautiful but, you can still put one sliding door to separate the toilet
I think maybe the problem with installing a door is the curved wall and celling
@@themorela32 Even if the door didn't go all the way to the other wall, something more is needed here. (I couldn't take a sh*t with my significant other in the same room. That's too much togetherness for me.)
I noticed there was no shower....what's up with that???
Kerri Fisher They shower at the gym. I would remove the wooden storage box on the left, put corrugated aluminum all around the bathroom and put a Japanese Soaking Tub. Add a hand-held shower with a hose that attaches to the sink to make it a Wet Room. Theb add a tension rod to hang a shower curtain. #ProblemSolved😁

I too am very interested in getting one of these days very soon. I would love to have wheels on it 😁. Like a 🐢 turtle with my house on my back! 😍 I love being out in nature. I really need to know where doggo sleeps though when the two kids are staying over! 4 adults and a great dane cross in an air steam?! ..they need to do an update and show us their night routine with the kids and doggo !

Okay please tell us is this a piece of land they rent or own in Oregon? How do they work the arrangement for water electric ..

They found the piece of land online, and they pay a small fee for rental. They have a black water tank that they dump in the sewer. Electric and water hookups were on site. Hope this helps!

My vintage airstream was fine at first but after a few years it started to drive me crazy- so I sold it and am building a cob house in its place-
I had an Overlander 1965 then a 1985.
I hated my kitchen in the 1985- I like your kitchen. And I really like where the bed is located

I would love this,but just too flicking cold this next of the woods,thanks for your time,effort,editing...yous look good together!
It'll sacrifice some space but making the walls thicker can allow for more insulation and a good heat source can compensate for a lot...
Permanent placement also gives other options like some people have done interesting things like encase the home in a green house so there's a buffer between the outside and the home but still get good views and natural lighting.
