I've had my t480 for years now, I dislike the idea of cloud storage and never had a use for an eGPU. the 8th gen t480 is still a beast.
Ye they're defo beastly devices!
Each to their own with the cloud stuff, eGPUs are an expensive proposition, but vital to my personal workflow, thanks for the comment 😊
I got t480s which gpu is the best for it? And can make a vid that how to connect eGpu to it...
@colhk that's fairly subjective question: generally nvidia gpus perform best for eGPU, but I favour AMD for price to performance, and I don't generally accelerate the internal monitor!
