Trust me when I say I needed this. Spiritual warfare is hard and I’m doubting salvation right now because I know that God exists but it feels like he doesn’t for some reason. I’m living the way he wants me to but I’m not feeling love for Christ like I did at one point. I WILL get through this by the power of the LORD Jesus Christ. God bless
There is no way in which we live that pleases the Lord because even if we sin just once God sees that as imperfection. You can try and be a good person all you want but YOUR efforts will not grant you eternal life Landon. Listen to me when I say that this is where the good news comes in. God sent his Son Jesus Christ to pay for OUR sins. All of our sins - including YOURS! That means that through repentance and asking Jesus for forgiveness aloud we are given the free gift of Salvation and eternal life. The Bible says that “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God is his father” you are given Salvation. You seem to be dealing with coming to terms with your unworthiness of Salvation. That’s good! That means you’re starting to realize just how much we need a savior to save us from our sin. Once you do this Landon brother, your heart will be changed and you will no longer desire sin. Let the Lord work in your heart as you come to know him. Don’t focus on YOU. Focus on Jesus. Friend, I know you’ve been suffering. Just remember that He still sees you and has not lost interest. Your words here sound like someone not too far gone though and Paul even said that now we only see dimly as in a mirror, but then we shall see and know fully as we are even known. It’s not unusual for our faith to feel a little abstract sometimes
That’s honestly awesome! I struggle everyday with thinking that I’m not His child because I keep messing up and all I do is think about my really messed up past. I just want Him but I struggle so much!
I been feeling like this lately. I believe God put this video in my feed because I’ve been praying holding on to Jesus because I know Satan tries his best to ruin my spirit but I will not give in. The spiritual battle that is taking place is really wearing down on me but I will never take my eyes off the Lord. He is fighting for me. Satan will not have me. He can try all he wants but I belong to Jesus Christ.
Satan works overtime to keep Christians like you to stay away from sharing Jesus's love to others. Because he knows you're God's hand and will draw others to Jesus. So he's never going to give up on you. But Jesus is not going to give up on you either and he's the only powerful one between the two.
That's what you should start with when examining your faith before looking at your works. RC Sproul, who is in heaven right now beholding in awe of our Lord, made a video about assurance. He asks if you love Jesus as he's portrayed in the Bible perfectly, which none of us do. Then he asks us if we love Jesus as much as we ought to, which again, none of us do (because we need to love him perfectly). Then he asks if we love him at all. And if you do have any genuine affection for Jesus, that means, according to Romans 8 that is the Spirit testifying to your spirit that you are God's child and are numbered among the elect. Vera, there will be difficult days where you may think "I'm such a wretched awful sinner", but remember 2 Tim 2:13: "If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself" God bless you my sister, and you too datchet11.
One way Satan tempts me to question my salvation is by trying to convince me that I am not DOING enough for Jesus, and comparing myself with other Christians who seem to be living a much better, holier life and doing far more good deeds. One of his favourite sayings seems to be, “Call yourself a Christian?” I have to remind myself that it is by grace through faith that I have been saved, and that is the gift of God, so that no-one can boast.
Shoshi, I've been dealing with the exact same feelings. "If you were saved, you'd be bold - not afraid to preach the gospel" "Look at all of those other Christians and what they're doing" Been dealing with this a lot lately.

I have to remind myself that in Ephesians 4, Paul says that in the Church, believers have many functions and the fact that they are listed (apostles, evangelists etc) means that not everyone is an evangelist. We are not all called to go out and preach the Gospel but we are all called to be good witnesses - to live the Gospel in front of people. I went on a big mission once and felt so condemned because my friend was so bold and preached the Gospel and everyone she spoke to got saved! I discovered then that my ministry is primarily among other members of the Church, as a teacher and worship leader. I’ve had times and seasons when I’ve not done either, especially during periods of ill health. During 2015 when I was undergoing cancer treatment everyone said how positive I was, and that I was an “inspiration” and so forth, and I would use these times as opportunities just to say that I couldn’t do it without Jesus in my life. I didn’t volunteer this information unless I was asked but hopefully people could see there was something different about me by the way I was dealing with the problems in my life. I learnt from this that there are many different ways of preaching the Gospel and they don’t all involve standing on street corners and risking having rotten tomatoes thrown at you! I live with the consequences (permanent ileostomy, peripheral neuropathy from chemo, awaiting 3rd surgery for parastomal hernia repair, and I’ve had major complications from surgeries) but I am still here, and still smiling!! It is good to share on here, to know you are not alone with your struggles. Satan likes to convince us otherwise but we all have different things to deal with, and many of the same things too. As Christians, we are not exempt from struggles and problems but we can always depend on Romans 8:28! God has everything in hand. God bless your too.

Ever since I was born again, Satan tries to tell me that my salvation is actually him posessing me. Strangely though I have the fruit of the Spirit, a relationship with Jesus and God the Father and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. Satan knows you very well, don't underestimate him, but also, don't underestimate God. He is stronger and loves you more than you can imagine! God bless 🙏
I’ve been doubting recently and it’s been getting stronger because I thought I had turned my back on one particular sin but have fallen into it again. Please pray for me that I can turn from it again for the last time and move on. This video turning up in my feed right now is no coincidence. Praise Jesus.
Hoping you are still on the narrow path. I know this was 3 years ago, but if you haven’t already, Take your problems and pray to Jesus. That’s if you truly feel ashamed and want to put an effort into repentance. He loves you very much and wants nothing but to help you through your problems. His objective isn’t to make things difficult or confusing for you. Temptation and deceitful thoughts from the enemy can be hard to recognize sometimes. Much love ❤️

Now let's say satan tempts someone making him/her doubt their Salvation, if that happens to me, I just turn the leaf, asking myself would satan give me such doubts and tempts me if I really wasn't saved?? Certainly NOT! Then he sure would leave me alone rather than waking me up spiritually and make me think about whether I might be unsaved. Satan may be cunning and intelligent in some way, but in some he ain't.
One of Satan's favorite lies is one that I hear time and again: "Your sins are too great for God to forgive." Of course, the Bible says that God can forgive any sin through faith. Whenever you question your salvation in this way or in the ways that Tim mentioned, remember what Jesus said: the devil has no truth in him and is the father of lies (see John 8:44).
Can I "Like" this, like 10,000x's??? I am a forty something year old lifetime doubter. However, I have grown in my faith, and I am less prone to wonder, in this manner, thanks to bible study and meditation on scripture, as well as much prayer. "All that the Father has given Me will come to Me, and he who comes to Me, I will certainly not cast out". John 6:37
I've been struggling with this big time over the past several weeks. First, I'm not sure if I know how to hear the voice of God. My mind is so noisy, and I cannot seem to quiet it. If I do quiet it, I almost end up falling asleep, or else my seemingly overactive imagination will kick in and think about completely random irrelevant things. I don't even know how God speaks to people. I know he speaks through the scriptures most of the time, could speak through other people or YT videos, etc. There have been times where I believe I may have felt a nudge or a thought to go and do something, but I can't tell if it is my own mind or God. This seed of doubt is amplified when I see others who can hear from God easily in dreams, visions, thoughts, etc.. when I can't, It makes me feel like something is wrong with me and wonder If I even belong to God. Secondly, I've been watching too much YT where there are so many conflicting doctrines in the comments section to the point where I don't even know what's the true doctrine, and what's mostly true doctrine, and what's heretical doctrine. I gotta look in the scriptures for that, but it depends entirely on how you interpret scripture. All doctrines are based from scripture, just interpreted differently. The main common ground I've found and believe is: repent, and put your faith in Jesus. Then be baptized (may or may not be a requirement for salvation, but it should be done regardless). Some say you can loose salvation, and others say you can't. Regardless as Paul says we shouldn't keep on sinning so that grace can keep on increasing, and I'm pretty sure almost everyone would agree. Lastly, the apostles in Acts could do all of these wonders and miracles like casting out demons, healing, tounges, bold preaching, prophesying, and etc. There's also some others who can do these miracles today, (though some may be fake as Satan imitates with his seducing spirits what the Holy Spirit does.) It feels as if I don't even have a spiritual gift at all, but I sure hope I do. when I was little I went to a Pentecostal church where they believed that everyone should be able to speak in tounges. I could never grasp the concept of it, so my whole life I felt like there was something wrong with me and is another thing that makes me wonder if I even belong to God. The pentecostals teach a separate baptism of the Holy Spirit, but I thought that happens when you are saved? I don't see any biblical references to having to ask God countless times for the gift of the Holy Spirit in Acts, they just received it on Pentecost as the fulfillment of Jesus's promised "helper". Acts 2:38 says to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and "ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit", but we also see Gentiles in Acts who just having heard the gospel preached to them became saved and immediately were filled with the Holy Spirit. They haven't even been baptized with water at that point. This seems to suggest that it is entirely within the heart that a person is saved. also the thief on the cross simply admitted that he deserves his punishment for his sins, and Jesus has done no wrong, but is taking punishment for sins he has not done. Then he called him lord and asked that Jesus remember him when he get's into his kingdom. He believed then that Jesus was the messiah, and I speculate that He had a change of heart of his sins (repentance). When I share my testimony and look back on my life from when I used to be, and where I am now, I can see what I believe to be God's work in my life. I used to be such a wild and naughty child. Now as a young man, I don't think the way people of the world think, hate sin and strive for and love righteousness. Some times I may get frustrated or run short on patience at work with all the stuff I have to deal with, but more often than not I believe I'm usually pretty patient, loving, and peaceful. I don't want anyone to perish to eternal punishment, even if they wrong me and thus am seeking to try to share the gospel with tracts even though I'm very shy and can hardly start a conversation with a stranger. I believe I also have convictions from the Holy Spirit from time to time. So there's positive signs of salvation, but also some lacking/ unsure things. If any fellow brethren can shed some light on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, on why some may have power like the disciples, and why average "joes" like me can't speak in tongues, or etc. that would be wonderful. Sorry for the essay on why I get doubts of my salvation. My comments always somehow seem to turn into essays lol
@Mar Lin that's entirely possible. I do often get so many random songs, thoughts, feelings, or even bible verses from my memory pulled to the front of my mind. I know the Lord primarily speaks through the scriptures, thus why it's nice to get all of scripture to memory, which is a W.I.P. for me. I've only started reading the bible about a year ago and I'm A little behind schedule to go cover to cover in a year. In the past I was always lukewarm and never read the word, so I feel like my spiritual growth was stagnated and am still basically pretty much a "baby" christian, but since the start of this pandemic/plandemic I've been seeking Jesus like never before.
I’ve felt exactly this way too I’m hoping others can enlighten me as well I hate that others say you can lose your salvation from sinning throughout you’re life even though you have believed so you’re always anxious to be a good kid when you fail it feels a thousand times worse it feels like works salvation in the end which is what I grew up with and tried so hard to leave behind. Jesus I just want you and you alone. I look to you and see how far I have fallen how desperate I need healing from my sinful ways my broken mind and body how I long to be whole and comforted by you Jesus!
Hey Brock; as I was reading through your comment I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by how much alike we think. I too struggle to “hear” the voice of God; but I get a sense he communicates things to my heart I guess? Like, once I went out to bring food to the homeless and could not find any on the street (which is really odd, given I’ve always found many homeless people in the vicinities) anyway, after strolling around for what seemed like an hour I decided to give up and return home. On my way back something told me I should take a left turn on a street I’d never go otherwise and there I found the family I was looking for. Also, sometimes I might be reading a passage from a christian book, like Towzer or Rick Warren and then my pastor makes a YT video that day going on about the same passage. Sometimes a video might pop up about some bible verse I’m reading that day. Sometimes the christian youtube channels I follow seem to pop up with video suggestions specifically made for me. Idk, I am still learning to not stress over this; I too would love to receive one of the manifestations of the holy spirit such as visions, speaking in tongues and what not. God made me a really empathetic person and I do see our Father has a unique way of communicating with me thus I try not to be too overly anxious about receiving gifts any more than He’s already given. You seem to be a really cool guy and I also struggle with being shy, giving away food helps me bring “a bit of” Jesus cuz I always hand them the bags with a “May God bless you”. Sometimes I wish I was bolder idk. All I can tell you is that I see a lot of myself in you. Try to pray as much as you can throughout the day and also from time to time ask your Father to reveal Himself to you and make you more aware. In due time all shall be added. Wow the devil actually tried to attack me like that and it says that the devil attacks the ones who are saved. THE DEVIL IS A LIARRR IM SAVED BY THE GRACE OF JESUS CHRIST, so thats why the devil fills my mind with all this anxiety, thx for this vid

I am not always on the mountain top . It’s when I am in the valley is when God is working in my life . The mountain top is just a glimpse at what God has in store for me when I leave this world .

Hon you're not the only one, so don't feel like you're alone even if that still happens to this day. We just gotta remember that we aren't saved by our knowledge, confidence, good works, etc. Rather we are saved by the work of Jesus when he died and it's that trust in him that gives us that gift. This exactly describes what I'm going through right now. It's been so hard for me. I still Love God and Trying to repent everyday. I'm still going to hold on to Christ even though it's hard. In the Bible, it says " Whoever endures until the end will be saved". So that's exactly what I'm going to do.
Except Matthew 24 (the source of your verse) isn't talking about salvation, it's talking about the end times and escaping God's wrath from it. Here's how to get saved: "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." -Acts 16:30-31 Simple as that. Your "enduring to the end" method is only ruining your life and you'll burn in Hell in the end.
So thankful for this video. I’ve been struggling for the past four years since my husband passed away with the remembrance of every sin and every failure i made in my marriage. Listen to “Struggles of Conscience” by CH Spurgeon… I sincerely and deeply struggled with this for a long time, and God used Spurgeon to help me find a deeper pool of God’s grace and affection for me
Wow, this gave me food for thought. Satan has tempted me in more ways than I thought - I see that now. And I really needed to hear that for every time I look at myself, I should take 10 looks at Jesus. I admit I've done the opposite.
Satan doesn't need to question your salvation, if you are relying on your good behaviour, or repentance, or right believing to save you, YOU will be constantly questioning your salvation. Unless you realze that your salvation is a FREE GIFT with nothing required from you, you will constantly be anxious about whether you are "saved".
Some ways i see spiritual warfare is Satan, along with his demons, who have found out of my former self (the self within me i cut out when i accept Jesus) of my past who knows all about what i used to be. My former self is really me but he isn't who i am. He exists in memory but has no power. He wants to come back to me because after i cut him off, he realized he has no place else in this life and it is dark without my presence (which is really just the space i have more for accepting Jesus and his way of life that is the comfortable feeling we all have by exercising our faith throughout our life). It is all should i say observed through my mind but that is just the gateway to the spiritual world i am in that makes all i say real. My former self wants me back and would like me to think i should do the things i used to be into. My catch is this, the more things want you, don't want it. A verse i rely on is when God says to be satisfied with what you have. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that - 1 Timothy 6:6-12. “Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, 'I will never fail you. I will never abandon you - Hebrews 13:5. So want less and you will find happiness. These things no man spoke so it cannot be argued against. To be honest i find it a challenge but i love a challenge i will greatly benefit out of for my own good. The best i can do is tell someone else so they can try it out too.

Research who bankrolled the third reich. For starters, find who owned the patent for the diesel fuel the nazi tanks used. The same American based company gave Germany free license to use it throughout the war.
Maybe I get a little confused about this subject because I stopped questioning my salvation after I undertood that it comes from the LORD. So I don't know what He has decided about me. I believe that I'll be awarded with salvation after I die because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I think that not knowing 100% God's decision helps me to perseve to walk in faith. It also helps me not to boast for being saved.
I recommend the book, “Stop Asking Jesus in Your Heart” by JD Greare. It has helped me on this hard road of doubts! In it, Greare says that the only assurance we will ever have is by looking to Jesus and His finished work. Relying on your faith, a prayer, or an alter call experience is good, but in my experience, it is never satisfying to my doubts. Instead, when I lean into Jesus and His finished work, it is the only thing that truly stands. God bless you, sister!
I used to have joy all the time but now I hardly ever do when I read about the fruits of the spirit I can see that at one point in my life I had it but now I don't.
There are three kinds of people!! One is charge with the crimes of breaking God laws!! He is escorted into the presence of God , the Judge!! The Judge ask him whether he has a lawyer to represent him!! But he doesn’t need one !! He cares nothing about his crimes nor did he feel any guilt !! He doesn’t care about sins in his life nor did he care about anything of God!! The judge found him guilty for breaking God’s laws and sentence him to eternal separation!! The second kind came before the God and told God, Lord I have made many mistakes in life and I have done many wrongs BUT ever since I try my best to live right for you !! I try to do good!! I attended church !! I became a member!! I took my children to Sunday schools and I try my best to keep your laws! By my conscience of right and wrong, I depend and trust in my work to do good and receive forgiveness from you!! I believe that based on my performance in life of good things, you would accept me and pardon my past and future sins! God ask , did you seek a lawyer to represent you ?? The man say no God, I figure I represent myself because I have change and started to live right!! God reply ... As much as I would like to pardon you , I cannot!! You have broken my laws and is guilty !! You have no one to represent you !! No matter how good you change , you cannot undo the laws you have broken nor can you be pardon!! Only through the shredding of innocent blood 🩸 can I pardon you !! You are wrong in believing and trusting in your own goodness to be pardon!! You have not received and trust my offer of grace to saved you !! You are still guilty and I sentence you to eternal separation!! The Third kind came before the Judge !! He would not look upon the judge face!! God say ... I see you have someone to represent you as your lawyer!! The man say yes ... your honor!! I am guilty for breaking your laws in life and I deserve my punishment!! But I have heard of a lawyer name Jesus that could represent me and offer me a plea bargain and pardon my crimes!! Your Honor, you have made a time period of your mercy and grace , and provided forgiveness to all criminals to want pardon!! The Judge reply ... yes I have!! I gave the nation a grace period to have a lawyer name Jesus that can plea on their behalf for pardon!! God say .. I have see you have taken and received my offer !! Jesus the lawyer approach the Judge and say.. yes this man had come to me for forgiveness and pardon for his crimes!! The Judge to Jesus can you explain why he will be pardon!! Jesus Turns to the man and say... I have took the punishment for you breaking God laws !! I became the criminal and took your spot !! I was punished for your crimes and sins !! My plea bargain is my blood 🩸!! Only through the shedding of my blood can you be forgiven for breaking God laws! I die in your place for you and I was resurrected to give you eternal life as oppose to eternal separation ! My blood is more than enough to forgive and pardon you !! You are not guilty nor is you condemn by my laws!! God say... I am a Just and Holy God!! I must punish sin and crimes for breaking my laws!! But I am also Gracious and merciful!! I have given the nation a grace period to be forgiven to all who accept and receive my Grace!! I am a Just Judge!! At the same time I justified those that receive my offer through Jesus!! Is satan omnipresent? He cant be in 2 places at once right? Or is he a spirit like God Almighty? Cuz it sounds like we make satan out to be this omnipresent being who knows everything you do and is always tempting us. Can someone help me understand this?
Satan is not omnipresent. The kingdom of darkness resembles to an army. Under satan there are fallen angles and under them are demons. There is one demon assigned for each person who justs waits for an opportunity to take over you.

I'm also reminded of the scripture in John 15 that says we are safely in God's hand and the evil one cannot touch us. If God is Sovereignly in control, if He allows temptations from the evil one, I know it's for my good.

I needed this I have been a bor d again Christian for years and by being careless have committed an extremely grievous sin I have been condemned guilty it is extreme I still feel His Spirit but it has taken an unbelievable toll on others and my own family .it is a life and death situation. There are three kinds of people!! One is charge with the crimes of breaking God laws!! He is escorted into the presence of God , the Judge!! The Judge ask him whether he has a lawyer to represent him!! But he doesn’t need one !! He cares nothing about his crimes nor did he feel any guilt !! I gave the nation a grace period to have a lawyer name Jesus that can plea on their behalf for pardon!! God say .. I have see you have taken and received my offer !! Jesus the lawyer approach the Judge and say.. yes this man had come to me for forgiveness and pardon for his crimes!! The Judge to Jesus can you explain why he will be pardon!! Jesus Turns to the man and say... I have took the punishment for you breaking God laws !! I became the criminal and took your spot !! I was punished for your crimes and sins !! My plea bargain is my blood 🩸!! Only through the shedding of my blood can you be forgiven for breaking God laws! I die in your place for you and I was resurrected to give you eternal life as oppose to eternal separation ! My blood is more than enough to forgive and pardon you !! Challies says that the Bible never says we can have assurance. That is not true according to God’s Word in Romans 8:16 which says, “ The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,”. Every one of God’s Children, His true Children, should have this assurance. AND 1 John 5:13 says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.” So don’t believe anyone who says you can’t have assurance, or that its not in the Word of God. To say that is calling God a liar.

The people who question their salvation are usually the people living in blatant sin against 1 John, John 15, 1 Timothy, etc... Scripture tells us those people who refuse to repent shall likewise all perish and without holiness we shall not see God, they who love God obey God, all Scripture.

Rev 2:4 will give you some clue Tim about backsliding. Of course Satan is there to accuse you at EVERY moment to doubt your trust and belief in God. That's why St Paul says work out your salvation in fear and trembling. You are allowed to be tested by Satan by Jesus. For what purpose? To know your weakness and work at them and increase your dependency on God. His Grace IS SUFFICIENT for you.

I don't think it's about being drawn to salvation so much as being drawn to the Savior. Look at the sacrificial love that took our punishment for rebellion--see how pure it is. When I considered how self-serving my own motives always were, and then compared that to the One who died for us, I realized Jesus was pure and powerful in a way I am not. That drew me to Him. That was were I started.

Something cannot come from nothing. Nothing is non-being/ non-existence, it is scientifically impossible for nothing to produce anything. In order for there to be anything at all, something eternal must always be and that something has to be capable of producing this universe. That means the eternal something must be powerful (to produce and sustain such a massive universe), intelligent/creative (to design such a complex universe), self-existent (as it alone is, only it can sustain itself), personal (able to make decisions, cause things to be, sustain things it creates), it must be stable (otherwise the universe could not be stable, i.e if the ground under you shakes you also shake), it must be greater then whatever it creates (because it creates of itself it must be more then whatever it creates because less cannot create more and sustain it by its own self) and it cannot be anything that it creates meaning the eternal something must be non-physical, timeless, spaceless, basically an infinite, eternal, spiritual being (God). Now thats philosophy, philosophy makes sense because we have working minds, we can trust our minds because our minds have a designer, you cannot trust your mind if it is the end result of a mindless unguided process. Now without God somehow nothing imagined this whole thing, that means without God you are the child of nothing and have zero value. The bible however teaches that you have worth because you are made in the image of God with the capacity to love, reason, choose, will. The problem is with this gift of life God has given you, you have sinned (that is to break his perfect moral law), have you not lied, cheated, stole, fornicated, blasphemed. The punishment for sin is death, is it unreasonable for God to command of his creation to keep his commandments when he is the one who has given them everything they have and sustains their life, are not the 10 commandments good things to obey, do they not create better societies and prolong life. Jesus, the Son of God came to earth to die for the sins of the world so that those who believe in him and his work of atonement on the cross don't have to bear the punishment for their sin. It is salvation by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Because God is just he will and must punish evil (in Gods eyes even a lie is a big deal), he cannot just sweep sin under the carpet and you cannot earn your salvation as no good deed can erase a bad deed, a criminal can not walk up to a judge and say look at all my good works can't you just turn a blind eye to the law I broke. You need forgiveness of your sins and peace with God which only comes through Jesus Christ. You might consider reading "I don't have enough faith to be an atheist", after all isn't the question is there a God and how can I know him the most important question to ask and shouldn't you give as much time as you can to get the true answer. Jesus said if you seek (that is to look and keep on looking) you will find. Seek the Lord and you will find him, I pray God reveals the truth to you and that you find peace in Jesus Christ.

Wow, I've been dealing with all of these the past couple weeks. I don't believe this was just a coincidence that I landed on this video and your channel. I've been struggling with the guilt of my sinful past, I actually thought I had committed the unpardonable sin because I cursed at God a couple times. But your channel has helped me in so many ways. I accepted Jesus when I was around 9, and then proceeded to live a life full of sin because I didn't realize what it truly meant. As I got older, I began feeling this guilt, guilt of watching pornography, cursing, sinful thoughts and a few others. I've ultimately waisted months of my life with Satan tossing me around like a doll, all while feeling like no matter how hard I tried Jesus could never forgive me. I've lost weight and sleep over this feeling of an eternal life without Jesus, which scares me beyond belief. I accepted Jesus a few days ago, but soon after felt this emptiness creep back into my stomach. I couldn't tell if it was the Holy Spirit telling me it was over for me, or Satan pulling me closer to him. I know this is kinda long, but thank you for the work you have put into your relationship with God, so you can teach others the truth.
Sorry for what you are going through. Do you believe that you were truly born again at age 9? Because you stated that you got born again recently? I am asking because I have gone through such serious doubts for the last three years. I trusted Christ at age 11 and I do not allow the enemy anymore to convince me that it wasn't genuine. I believe i was saved then. God can and saves children. He is the same God who worked in your heart at age 9. Yes the Bible commands us to test and see if we are in faith not doubting our salvation. Probably you haven't learnt to fight through the means of grace that God provides. Our salvation is all of God and we are responsible to respond to obey Him by Faith in Jesus Christ. May the Lord see you through. And please avoid some of the so many sermons that make you always doubt your salvation and also avoid comparing your christian walk with others rather keep your eyes on Christ.
@@wilsonwaigwa520 Wow, thank you so much for that. I do believe I was born again at age 9, but I felt I needed to again given that I've sinned much more after age 9 than before. I repeated the prayer again, some of it was I guess "reassuring" I was saved, but the biggest reason was I felt I owed it to confess and apologize to God. After talking with family and hearing different verses and talks about this "seed" God plants when we are born again, my doubts have dropped dramatically. I've been able to sleep and eat better. Occasionally I do have thoughts come in my head of these "what ifs" but when I do hear those I turn to the Bible and ask God that He would help me show the enemy the strength He has given me. I appreciate you responding to me with your message, I can start the day off on the right foot.

Wait a sec.....do you believe that we shouldn't have an assurance of salvation? This is what you said at the 2:15 mark? The Bible is clear that we SHOULD have an assurance of salvation. Salvation can never be lost. Don't listen to anyone who says it can be lost.
You misunderstood him. He's saying that Satan suggests if we ever lose assurance we aren't saved. Doubts do not mean we aren't saved. See Matthew 28:17 for example

I have had a life of none-stop difficulty but just recently, I almost hold my eyelids up in bed as something has been making me scared I could die in the night and not get saved.....So I talk endlessly to God about it but thenI just keep remembering every single sin from my whole life -even from when I was 5 or 8 years old
Trust me when I say I needed this. Spiritual warfare is hard and I’m doubting salvation right now because I know that God exists but it feels like he doesn’t for some reason. There is no way in which we live that pleases the Lord because even if we sin just once God sees that as imperfection. You can try and be a good person all you want but YOUR efforts will not grant you eternal life Landon. Listen to me when I say that this is where the good news comes in.
God sent his Son Jesus Christ to pay for OUR sins. All of our sins - including YOURS! That means that through repentance and asking Jesus for forgiveness aloud we are given the free gift of Salvation and eternal life. The Bible says that “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God is his father” you are given Salvation.
You seem to be dealing with coming to terms with your unworthiness of Salvation. That’s good! That means you’re starting to realize just how much we need a savior to save us from our sin. Once you do this Landon brother, your heart will be changed and you will no longer desire sin. Let the Lord work in your heart as you come to know him. Don’t focus on YOU. Focus on Jesus. Friend, I know you’ve been suffering. Just remember that He still sees you and has not lost interest. Your words here sound like someone not too far gone though and Paul even said that now we only see dimly as in a mirror, but then we shall see and know fully as we are even known. It’s not unusual for our faith to feel a little abstract sometimes

That’s honestly awesome! I struggle everyday with thinking that I’m not His child because I keep messing up and all I do is think about my really messed up past. I just want Him but I struggle so much!
I been feeling like this lately. I believe God put this video in my feed because I’ve been praying holding on to Jesus because I know Satan tries his best to ruin my spirit but I will not give in. The spiritual battle that is taking place is really wearing down on me but I will never take my eyes off the Lord. He is fighting for me. Satan will not have me. Satan works overtime to keep Christians like you to stay away from sharing Jesus's love to others. Because he knows you're God's hand and will draw others to Jesus. So he's never going to give up on you. But Jesus is not going to give up on you either and he's the only powerful one between the two.

That's what you should start with when examining your faith before looking at your works. RC Sproul, who is in heaven right now beholding in awe of our Lord, made a video about assurance. He asks if you love Jesus as he's portrayed in the Bible perfectly, which none of us do. Then he asks us if we love Jesus as much as we ought to, which again, none of us do (because we need to love him perfectly). Then he asks if we love him at all. And if you do have any genuine affection for Jesus, that means, according to Romans 8 that is the Spirit testifying to your spirit that you are God's child and are numbered among the elect.
Vera, there will be difficult days where you may think "I'm such a wretched awful sinner", but remember 2 Tim 2:13:
"If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself"

One way Satan tempts me to question my salvation is by trying to convince me that I am not DOING enough for Jesus, and comparing myself with other Christians who seem to be living a much better, holier life and doing far more good deeds. One of his favourite sayings seems to be, “Call yourself a Christian?” I have to remind myself that it is by grace through faith that I have been saved, and that is the gift of God, so that no-one can boast.

I have to remind myself that in Ephesians 4, Paul says that in the Church, believers have many functions and the fact that they are listed (apostles, evangelists etc) means that not everyone is an evangelist. We are not all called to go out and preach the Gospel but we are all called to be good witnesses - to live the Gospel in front of people. I went on a big mission once and felt so condemned because my friend was so bold and preached the Gospel and everyone she spoke to got saved! I discovered then that my ministry is primarily among other members of the Church, as a teacher and worship leader. I’ve had times and seasons when I’ve not done either, especially during periods of ill health. During 2015 when I was undergoing cancer treatment everyone said how positive I was, and that I was an “inspiration” and so forth, and I would use these times as opportunities just to say that I couldn’t do it without Jesus in my life. I didn’t volunteer this information unless I was asked but hopefully people could see there was something different about me by the way I was dealing with the problems in my life. I learnt from this that there are many different ways of preaching the Gospel and they don’t all involve standing on street corners and risking having rotten tomatoes thrown at you! I hope this helps.

I live with the consequences (permanent ileostomy, peripheral neuropathy from chemo, awaiting 3rd surgery for parastomal hernia repair, and I’ve had major complications from surgeries) but I am still here, and still smiling!! It is good to share on here, to know you are not alone with your struggles. Satan likes to convince us otherwise but we all have different things to deal with, and many of the same things too. As Christians, we are not exempt from struggles and problems but we can always depend on Romans 8:28! God has everything in hand. God bless your too.

Ever since I was born again, Satan tries to tell me that my salvation is actually him posessing me. Strangely though I have the fruit of the Spirit, a relationship with Jesus and God the Father and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. Satan knows you very well, don't underestimate him, but also, don't underestimate God. He is stronger and loves you more than you can imagine! God bless 🙏

I’ve been doubting recently and it’s been getting stronger because I thought I had turned my back on one particular sin but have fallen into it again. That’s if you truly feel ashamed and want to put an effort into repentance. He loves you very much and wants nothing but to help you through your problems. His objective isn’t to make things difficult or confusing for you. Temptation and deceitful thoughts from the enemy can be hard to recognize sometimes. Much love ❤️

Now let's say satan tempts someone making him/her doubt their Salvation, if that happens to me, I just turn the leaf, asking myself would satan give me such doubts and tempts me if I really wasn't saved?? Certainly NOT! Then he sure would leave me alone rather than waking me up spiritually and make me think about whether I might be unsaved. Satan may be cunning and intelligent in some way, but in some he ain't.

One of Satan's favorite lies is one that I hear time and again: "Your sins are too great for God to forgive." Of course, the Bible says that God can forgive any sin through faith. Whenever you question your salvation in this way or in the ways that Tim mentioned, remember what Jesus said: the devil has no truth in him and is the father of lies (see John 8:44).

However, I have grown in my faith, and I am less prone to wonder, in this manner, thanks to bible study and meditation on scripture, as well as much prayer. "All that the Father has given Me will come to Me, and he who comes to Me, I will certainly not cast out". John 6:37
I've been struggling with this big time over the past several weeks. First, I'm not sure if I know how to hear the voice of God. My mind is so noisy, and I cannot seem to quiet it. If I do quiet it, I almost end up falling asleep, or else my seemingly overactive imagination will kick in and think about completely random irrelevant things. I don't even know how God speaks to people. I know he speaks through the scriptures most of the time, could speak through other people or YT videos, etc. There have been times where I believe I may have felt a nudge or a thought to go and do something, but I can't tell if it is my own mind or God. This seed of doubt is amplified when I see others who can hear from God easily in dreams, visions, thoughts, etc.. when I can't, It makes me feel like something is wrong with me and wonder If I even belong to God. Secondly, I've been watching too much YT where there are so many conflicting doctrines in the comments section to the point where I don't even know what's the true doctrine, and what's mostly true doctrine, and what's heretical doctrine. I gotta look in the scriptures for that, but it depends entirely on how you interpret scripture. All doctrines are based from scripture, just interpreted differently. The main common ground I've found and believe is: repent, and put your faith in Jesus. Then be baptized (may or may not be a requirement for salvation, but it should be done regardless). Some say you can loose salvation, and others say you can't. Regardless as Paul says we shouldn't keep on sinning so that grace can keep on increasing, and I'm pretty sure almost everyone would agree.
Lastly, the apostles in Acts could do all of these wonders and miracles like casting out demons, healing, tounges, bold preaching, prophesying, and etc. There's also some others who can do these miracles today, (though some may be fake as Satan imitates with his seducing spirits what the Holy Spirit does.) It feels as if I don't even have a spiritual gift at all, but I sure hope I do. when I was little I went to a Pentecostal church where they believed that everyone should be able to speak in tounges. I could never grasp the concept of it, so my whole life I felt like there was something wrong with me and is another thing that makes me wonder if I even belong to God. The pentecostals teach a separate baptism of the Holy Spirit, but I thought that happens when you are saved? I don't see any biblical references to having to ask God countless times for the gift of the Holy Spirit in Acts, they just received it on Pentecost as the fulfillment of Jesus's promised "helper". Acts 2:38 says to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and "ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit", but we also see Gentiles in Acts who just having heard the gospel preached to them became saved and immediately were filled with the Holy Spirit. They haven't even been baptized with water at that point. This seems to suggest that it is entirely within the heart that a person is saved. also the thief on the cross simply admitted that he deserves his punishment for his sins, and Jesus has done no wrong, but is taking punishment for sins he has not done. Then he called him lord and asked that Jesus remember him when he get's into his kingdom. He believed then that Jesus was the messiah, and I speculate that He had a change of heart of his sins (repentance). When I share my testimony and look back on my life from when I used to be, and where I am now, I can see what I believe to be God's work in my life. I used to be such a wild and naughty child. Now as a young man, I don't think the way people of the world think, hate sin and strive for and love righteousness. Some times I may get frustrated or run short on patience at work with all the stuff I have to deal with, but more often than not I believe I'm usually pretty patient, loving, and peaceful. I don't want anyone to perish to eternal punishment, even if they wrong me and thus am seeking to try to share the gospel with tracts even though I'm very shy and can hardly start a conversation with a stranger. I believe I also have convictions from the Holy Spirit from time to time. So there's positive signs of salvation, but also some lacking/ unsure things. If any fellow brethren can shed some light on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, on why some may have power like the disciples, and why average "joes" like me can't speak in tongues, or etc. that would be wonderful. Sorry for the essay on why I get doubts of my salvation. My comments always somehow seem to turn into essays lol

@Mar Lin that's entirely possible. I do often get so many random songs, thoughts, feelings, or even bible verses from my memory pulled to the front of my mind. I know the Lord primarily speaks through the scriptures, thus why it's nice to get all of scripture to memory, which is a W.I.P. for me. I've only started reading the bible about a year ago and I'm A little behind schedule to go cover to cover in a year. In the past I was always lukewarm and never read the word, so I feel like my spiritual growth was stagnated and am still basically pretty much a "baby" christian, but since the start of this pandemic/plandemic I've been seeking Jesus like never before.
I’ve felt exactly this way too I’m hoping others can enlighten me as well I hate that others say you can lose your salvation from sinning throughout you’re life even though you have believed so you’re always anxious to be a good kid when you fail it feels a thousand times worse it feels like works salvation in the end which is what I grew up with and tried so hard to leave behind. Jesus I just want you and you alone. I look to you and see how far I have fallen how desperate I need healing from my sinful ways my broken mind and body how I long to be whole and comforted by you Jesus!
Hey Brock; as I was reading through your comment I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by how much alike we think. I too struggle to “hear” the voice of God; but I get a sense he communicates things to my heart I guess? Like, once I went out to bring food to the homeless and could not find any on the street (which is really odd, given I’ve always found many homeless people in the vicinities) anyway, after strolling around for what seemed like an hour I decided to give up and return home. On my way back something told me I should take a left turn on a street I’d never go otherwise and there I found the family I was looking for. Also, sometimes I might be reading a passage from a christian book, like Towzer or Rick Warren and then my pastor makes a YT video that day going on about the same passage. Sometimes a video might pop up about some bible verse I’m reading that day. Sometimes the christian youtube channels I follow seem to pop up with video suggestions specifically made for me. Idk, I am still learning to not stress over this; I too would love to receive one of the manifestations of the holy spirit such as visions, speaking in tongues and what not. God made me a really empathetic person and I do see our Father has a unique way of communicating with me thus I try not to be too overly anxious about receiving gifts any more than He’s already given. You seem to be a really cool guy and I also struggle with being shy, giving away food helps me bring “a bit of” Jesus cuz I always hand them the bags with a “May God bless you”. Sometimes I wish I was bolder idk. All I can tell you is that I see a lot of myself in you. Try to pray as much as you can throughout the day and also from time to time ask your Father to reveal Himself to you and make you more aware. In due time all shall be added. Hon you're not the only one, so don't feel like you're alone even if that still happens to this day. We just gotta remember that we aren't saved by our knowledge, confidence, good works, etc. Rather we are saved by the work of Jesus when he died and it's that trust in him that gives us that gift. This exactly describes what I'm going through right now. It's been so hard for me. I still Love God and Trying to repent everyday. I'm still going to hold on to Christ even though it's hard. In the Bible, it says " Whoever endures until the end will be saved". So that's exactly what I'm going to do.
Except Matthew 24 (the source of your verse) isn't talking about salvation, it's talking about the end times and escaping God's wrath from it. Here's how to get saved:
"And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

Wow, this gave me food for thought. Satan has tempted me in more ways than I thought - I see that now. And I really needed to hear that for every time I look at myself, I should take 10 looks at Jesus. I admit I've done the opposite.

Satan doesn't need to question your salvation, if you are relying on your good behaviour, or repentance, or right believing to save you, YOU will be constantly questioning your salvation. Unless you realze that your salvation is a FREE GIFT with nothing required from you, you will constantly be anxious about whether you are "saved".

Some ways i see spiritual warfare is Satan, along with his demons, who have found out of my former self (the self within me i cut out when i accept Jesus) of my past who knows all about what i used to be. My former self is really me but he isn't who i am. He exists in memory but has no power. He wants to come back to me because after i cut him off, he realized he has no place else in this life and it is dark without my presence (which is really just the space i have more for accepting Jesus and his way of life that is the comfortable feeling we all have by exercising our faith throughout our life). It is all should i say observed through my mind but that is just the gateway to the spiritual world i am in that makes all i say real. My former self wants me back and would like me to think i should do the things i used to be into. My catch is this, the more things want you, don't want it.
A verse i rely on is when God says to be satisfied with what you have.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that - 1 Timothy 6:6-12.

So want less and you will find happiness. These things no man spoke so it cannot be argued against. To be honest i find it a challenge but i love a challenge i will greatly benefit out of for my own good. The best i can do is tell someone else so they can try it out too.

Maybe I get a little confused about this subject because I stopped questioning my salvation after I undertood that it comes from the LORD. So I don't know what He has decided about me. I believe that I'll be awarded with salvation after I die because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I think that not knowing 100% God's decision helps me to perseve to walk in faith. It also helps me not to boast for being saved.

I recommend the book, “Stop Asking Jesus in Your Heart” by JD Greare. It has helped me on this hard road of doubts! In it, Greare says that the only assurance we will ever have is by looking to Jesus and His finished work. Relying on your faith, a prayer, or an alter call experience is good, but in my experience, it is never satisfying to my doubts. Instead, when I lean into Jesus and His finished work, it is the only thing that truly stands. God bless you, sister!

I used to have joy all the time but now I hardly ever do when I read about the fruits of the spirit I can see that at one point in my life I had it but now I don't.
There are three kinds of people!! One is charge with the crimes of breaking God laws!! He is escorted into the presence of God , the Judge!! The Judge ask him whether he has a lawyer to represent him!! But he doesn’t need one !! He cares nothing about his crimes nor did he feel any guilt !! He doesn’t care about sins in his life nor did he care about anything of God!! The judge found him guilty for breaking God’s laws and sentence him to eternal separation!! The second kind came before the God and told God, Lord I have made many mistakes in life and I have done many wrongs BUT ever since I try my best to live right for you !! I try to do good!! I attended church !! I became a member!! I took my children to Sunday schools and I try my best to keep your laws! By my conscience of right and wrong, I depend and trust in my work to do good and receive forgiveness from you!! I believe that based on my performance in life of good things, you would accept me and pardon my past and future sins! God ask , did you seek a lawyer to represent you ?? The man say no God, I figure I represent myself because I have change and started to live right!! God reply ... As much as I would like to pardon you , I cannot!! You have broken my laws and is guilty !! You have no one to represent you !! No matter how good you change , you cannot undo the laws you have broken nor can you be pardon!! Only through the shredding of innocent blood 🩸 can I pardon you !! You are wrong in believing and trusting in your own goodness to be pardon!! You have not received and trust my offer of grace to saved you !! You are still guilty and I sentence you to eternal separation!! The Third kind came before the Judge !! He would not look upon the judge face!! God say ... I see you have someone to represent you as your lawyer!! The man say yes ... your honor!! I am guilty for breaking your laws in life and I deserve my punishment!! But I have heard of a lawyer name Jesus that could represent me and offer me a plea bargain and pardon my crimes!! Your Honor, you have made a time period of your mercy and grace , and provided forgiveness to all criminals to want pardon!! The Judge reply ... yes I have!! I gave the nation a grace period to have a lawyer name Jesus that can plea on their behalf for pardon!! God say .. I have see you have taken and received my offer !! Jesus the lawyer approach the Judge and say.. yes this man had come to me for forgiveness and pardon for his crimes!! The Judge to Jesus can you explain why he will be pardon!! Jesus Turns to the man and say... I have took the punishment for you breaking God laws !! I became the criminal and took your spot !! I was punished for your crimes and sins !! My plea bargain is my blood 🩸!! Only through the shedding of my blood can you be forgiven for breaking God laws! I die in your place for you and I was resurrected to give you eternal life as oppose to eternal separation ! My blood is more than enough to forgive and pardon you !! You are not guilty nor is you condemn by my laws!! God say... I am a Just and Holy God!! I must punish sin and crimes for breaking my laws!! But I am also Gracious and merciful!! I have given the nation a grace period to be forgiven to all who accept and receive my Grace!! I am a Just Judge!! At the same time I justified those that receive my offer through Jesus!! The law of the spirit of life has set me FREE from the law of sin and death!! When a person believes and receive the Holy Spirit, they come under a NEW LAW!! It is the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus!! This Laws work for us to empower us by the Spirit to produce fruits of life not works of death ( sins) The old law of sin and death held us in bondage to produce sins !! It’s call the passion of sin working in our flesh under this law because it’s a curse!! But our new Law of the Spirit produces passions of love for God and others automatically because of this Law!! This law of Grace!! We have to obey the law of Faith!! The more we believe what God say, the more joyful and productive we become!! This is our Christians duty!! To Hope , to believe and to love with TRUTH!! Truth has to be the Foundation for Hope , faith and love!! God Words are Truth! Millions do not know the Word of God and cannot RIGHTLY DIVIDE the words of God !! Why??? Because they don’t have the Holy Spirit of Truth!! Satan transform himself into an angel of light ( God) it would be normals that he would have used people as minsters ( teachers or pastors) of unrighteousness teaching false doctrines!! Seducing doctrine mix with a little truth and error!! Many denomination coming in the name of Jesus are teaching another gospel and doctrine of demons and traditions of men!! Be careful of false doctrines and apostasy!! Apostasy is the falling away from the the message of the Gospel of Grace !! It is teaching and believing ANOTHER GOSPEL other than the only Gospel of Jesus which is Salvation by Faith alone!! Believing in the finished Work of Jesus!! Without the Holy Spirit man is deceived !! No matter how intelligent or wise they think, they will be deceived and confused ! We do good works because the Holy Spirit lives in us!! He produces desires and fruits of his Spirit!! It is the fruits of the Spirit not our fruits!! The Holy Spirit heart ❤️ and our hearts become one united together by Love!! Jesus blood 🩸 mad that unity possible in our spirit!! The Bible say if we believe, we have the witness of the Spirit in our hearts!! This means there are three life changing principles in the Christian life!! First is God FACTS ! Secondly is our FAITH and Third is our FEELINGS!! God Words are FACTS!! 1) God Promises = This is my FACTS! 2) I believe = This is my faith 3) God fullfilled it and I ENJOY it= This is my FEELINGS. God order is always 1) FACTS. 2) FAITH. 3) FEELINGS. FACTS forms the foundation; faith rest on it; feeling comes last!! Most of us put FEELINGS FIRST!! God salvation is here!! But because we have free will , God cannot force us to believe in His Gospel!! When we BELIEVE what God say, we get SAVED by God!! Faith is not what saved us!! It is the means by which God save us!! When we believe , we have the witness of the Holy Spirit within us of what God say!! If God say by believing and receiving Jesus we becomes the sons of God, then it is 100 % a Facts!! We believe that and our feeling of Joy is experience in our hearts!! We at times may not FEEL saved but we are not saved by our feeling but by God FACTS!! We believe and trust what God say we are!! God Facts are God words!! His words are truth !! So We are saved by believing in what God say in the Gospel of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you confessed the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead to forgive your sins and give you eternal life, then you are SAVED!! Do you believe what God say??? Is God a liar??? Salvation is the greatest and most joyful gifts and experience a person can have but they must understand these life changing orders God gives!! 1) Facts 2 ) faith) 3)feelings!! They comes in those EXACT ORDER! a) God say it b) I believe it c) I then experience it in my heart! When God sealed us with the Holy Spirit, He produces news desires and love for Jesus! We want to please God!! And if we sin, our heart doesn’t feel right because the Holy Spirit lives in us!! So he prompt us to confess those sins because His blood 🩸 covers all sins for all times!! But here is the kicker!! We don’t desires to live a sinful life!! The attraction to live a life of sin is diminishing little by little!! Another Word , without Believing the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will not be given the Holy Spirit!! Then we won’t desire the things of God!! So believe in the good news ❤️😊!! We are saved to do good works!! We do not do good works to be saved independently from Jesus !! But that we produce fruits of the Spirit because the Holy Spirit reside in us!! The most liberating message for those that are saved is SONSHIP!! This is your standing and status !! Your new IDENTITY in CHRIST!! You have die with Christ!! All your sins are forgiven and all legal obligations to the law has been canceled by your death!! You have been crucified with Christ!! Now you are marry to a NEW LAW!! It is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus!! If you do not have genuine faith, you cannot produce good works for Jesus !! Faith without works is dead!! This kind of faith is dead and cannot produce good fruits for Jesus!

Is satan omnipresent? He cant be in 2 places at once right? Or is he a spirit like God Almighty? Cuz it sounds like we make satan out to be this omnipresent being who knows everything you do and is always tempting us. Can someone help me understand this?
Satan is not omnipresent. The kingdom of darkness resembles to an army. Under satan there are fallen angles and under them are demons. There is one demon assigned for each person who justs waits for an opportunity to take over you.

I needed this I have been a bor d again Christian for years and by being careless have committed an extremely grievous sin I have been condemned guilty it is extreme I still feel His Spirit but it has taken an unbelievable toll on others and my own family .it is a life and death situation. I can't tell sometimes if it's God's judgment or Satan attacking me ,I have deeply grieved fasted prayed weeped .please pray for the lives of those involved and my own please I love the Lord and all those made in His image.🙏🙏🙏

There are three kinds of people!! One is charge with the crimes of breaking God laws!! He is escorted into the presence of God , the Judge!! The Judge ask him whether he has a lawyer to represent him!! But he doesn’t need one !! He cares nothing about his crimes nor did he feel any guilt !! He doesn’t care about sins in his life nor did he care about anything of God!! The judge found him guilty for breaking God’s laws and sentence him to eternal separation!! The second kind came before the God and told God, Lord I have made many mistakes in life and I have done many wrongs BUT ever since I try my best to live right for you !! I try to do good!! I attended church !! I became a member!! I took my children to Sunday schools and I try my best to keep your laws! By my conscience of right and wrong, I depend and trust in my work to do good and receive forgiveness from you!! I believe that based on my performance in life of good things, you would accept me and pardon my past and future sins! God ask , did you seek a lawyer to represent you ?? The man say no God, I figure I represent myself because I have change and started to live right!! God reply ... As much as I would like to pardon you , I cannot!! You have broken my laws and is guilty !! You have no one to represent you !! No matter how good you change , you cannot undo the laws you have broken nor can you be pardon!! Only through the shredding of innocent blood 🩸 can I pardon you !! You are wrong in believing and trusting in your own goodness to be pardon!! You have not received and trust my offer of grace to saved you !! You are still guilty and I sentence you to eternal separation!! The Third kind came before the Judge !! He would not look upon the judge face!! God say ... I see you have someone to represent you as your lawyer!! The man say yes ... your honor!! I am guilty for breaking your laws in life and I deserve my punishment!! But I have heard of a lawyer name Jesus that could represent me and offer me a plea bargain and pardon my crimes!! Your Honor, you have made a time period of your mercy and grace , and provided forgiveness to all criminals to want pardon!! The Judge reply ... yes I have!! I gave the nation a grace period to have a lawyer name Jesus that can plea on their behalf for pardon!! God say .. I have see you have taken and received my offer !! Jesus the lawyer approach the Judge and say.. yes this man had come to me for forgiveness and pardon for his crimes!! The Judge to Jesus can you explain why he will be pardon!! Jesus Turns to the man and say... I have took the punishment for you breaking God laws !! I became the criminal and took your spot !! I was punished for your crimes and sins !! My plea bargain is my blood 🩸!! Only through the shedding of my blood can you be forgiven for breaking God laws! I die in your place for you and I was resurrected to give you eternal life as oppose to eternal separation ! My blood is more than enough to forgive and pardon you !! You are not guilty nor is you condemn by my laws!! God say... I am a Just and Holy God!! I must punish sin and crimes for breaking my laws!! But I am also Gracious and merciful!! I have given the nation a grace period to be forgiven to all who accept and receive my Grace!! I am a Just Judge!! At the same time I justified those that receive my offer through Jesus!! You are pardon by my mercy and grace !! YOU ARE JUSTIFIED BY MY GRACE THROUGH YOUR FAITH IN MY BLOOD 🩸 THAT WAS SHED FOR YOU!! YOU ARE SAVED BY TRUSTING IN MY BLOOD ATONEMENT !! Challies says that the Bible never says we can have assurance. That is not true according to God’s Word in Romans 8:16 which says, “
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,”. Every one of God’s Children, His true Children, should have this assurance. AND 1 John 5:13 says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.” So don’t believe anyone who says you can’t have assurance, or that its not in the Word of God. To say that is calling God a liar.

The people who question their salvation are usually the people living in blatant sin against 1 John, John 15, 1 Timothy, etc... Scripture tells us those people who refuse to repent shall likewise all perish and without holiness we shall not see God, they who love God obey God, all Scripture.

Rev 2:4 will give you some clue Tim about backsliding. Of course Satan is there to accuse you at EVERY moment to doubt your trust and belief in God. That's why St Paul says work out your salvation in fear and trembling. You are allowed to be tested by Satan by Jesus. For what purpose? To know your weakness and work at them and increase your dependency on God. His Grace IS SUFFICIENT for you.

I don't think it's about being drawn to salvation so much as being drawn to the Savior. Look at the sacrificial love that took our punishment for rebellion--see how pure it is. When I considered how self-serving my own motives always were, and then compared that to the One who died for us, I realized Jesus was pure and powerful in a way I am not. That drew me to Him. That was were I started.

I think you need to consider the ACTUAL legitimacy of the bible first, before you go on getting motivated by a character.
Something cannot come from nothing. Nothing is non-being/ non-existence, it is scientifically impossible for nothing to produce anything. In order for there to be anything at all, something eternal must always be and that something has to be capable of producing this universe. That means the eternal something must be powerful (to produce and sustain such a massive universe), intelligent/creative (to design such a complex universe), self-existent (as it alone is, only it can sustain itself), personal (able to make decisions, cause things to be, sustain things it creates), it must be stable (otherwise the universe could not be stable, i.e if the ground under you shakes you also shake), it must be greater then whatever it creates (because it creates of itself it must be more then whatever it creates because less cannot create more and sustain it by its own self) and it cannot be anything that it creates meaning the eternal something must be non-physical, timeless, spaceless, basically an infinite, eternal, spiritual being (God). Now thats philosophy, philosophy makes sense because we have working minds, we can trust our minds because our minds have a designer, you cannot trust your mind if it is the end result of a mindless unguided process. Now without God somehow nothing imagined this whole thing, that means without God you are the child of nothing and have zero value. The bible however teaches that you have worth because you are made in the image of God with the capacity to love, reason, choose, will. The problem is with this gift of life God has given you, you have sinned (that is to break his perfect moral law), have you not lied, cheated, stole, fornicated, blasphemed. The punishment for sin is death, is it unreasonable for God to command of his creation to keep his commandments when he is the one who has given them everything they have and sustains their life, are not the 10 commandments good things to obey, do they not create better societies and prolong life. Jesus, the Son of God came to earth to die for the sins of the world so that those who believe in him and his work of atonement on the cross don't have to bear the punishment for their sin. It is salvation by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Because God is just he will and must punish evil (in Gods eyes even a lie is a big deal), he cannot just sweep sin under the carpet and you cannot earn your salvation as no good deed can erase a bad deed, a criminal can not walk up to a judge and say look at all my good works can't you just turn a blind eye to the law I broke. You need forgiveness of your sins and peace with God which only comes through Jesus Christ. You might consider reading "I don't have enough faith to be an atheist", after all isn't the question is there a God and how can I know him the most important question to ask and shouldn't you give as much time as you can to get the true answer. Jesus said if you seek (that is to look and keep on looking) you will find. Seek the Lord and you will find him, I pray God reveals the truth to you and that you find peace in Jesus Christ.

Wow, I've been dealing with all of these the past couple weeks. I don't believe this was just a coincidence that I landed on this video and your channel. I've been struggling with the guilt of my sinful past, I actually thought I had committed the unpardonable sin because I cursed at God a couple times. But your channel has helped me in so many ways. I accepted Jesus when I was around 9, and then proceeded to live a life full of sin because I didn't realize what it truly meant. As I got older, I began feeling this guilt, guilt of watching pornography, cursing, sinful thoughts and a few others. I've ultimately waisted months of my life with Satan tossing me around like a doll, all while feeling like no matter how hard I tried Jesus could never forgive me. I've lost weight and sleep over this feeling of an eternal life without Jesus, which scares me beyond belief. I accepted Jesus a few days ago, but soon after felt this emptiness creep back into my stomach. I couldn't tell if it was the Holy Spirit telling me it was over for me, or Satan pulling me closer to him. I know this is kinda long, but thank you for the work you have put into your relationship with God, so you can teach others the truth.
Sorry for what you are going through. Do you believe that you were truly born again at age 9? Because you stated that you got born again recently? I am asking because I have gone through such serious doubts for the last three years. I trusted Christ at age 11 and I do not allow the enemy anymore to convince me that it wasn't genuine. I believe i was saved then. God can and saves children. He is the same God who worked in your heart at age 9. Yes the Bible commands us to test and see if we are in faith not doubting our salvation. Probably you haven't learnt to fight through the means of grace that God provides. Our salvation is all of God and we are responsible to respond to obey Him by Faith in Jesus Christ. May the Lord see you through. And please avoid some of the so many sermons that make you always doubt your salvation and also avoid comparing your christian walk with others rather keep your eyes on Christ.
@@wilsonwaigwa520 Wow, thank you so much for that. I do believe I was born again at age 9, but I felt I needed to again given that I've sinned much more after age 9 than before. I repeated the prayer again, some of it was I guess "reassuring" I was saved, but the biggest reason was I felt I owed it to confess and apologize to God. After talking with family and hearing different verses and talks about this "seed" God plants when we are born again, my doubts have dropped dramatically. I've been able to sleep and eat better. Occasionally I do have thoughts come in my head of these "what ifs" but when I do hear those I turn to the Bible and ask God that He would help me show the enemy the strength He has given me. I appreciate you responding to me with your message, I can start the day off on the right foot.

Wait a sec.....do you believe that we shouldn't have an assurance of salvation? This is what you said at the 2:15 mark? The Bible is clear that we SHOULD have an assurance of salvation. Salvation can never be lost. Don't listen to anyone who says it can be lost.
You misunderstood him. He's saying that Satan suggests if we ever lose assurance we aren't saved. Doubts do not mean we aren't saved. See Matthew 28:17 for example

I have had a life of none-stop difficulty but just recently, I almost hold my eyelids up in bed as something has been making me scared I could die in the night and not get saved.....So I talk endlessly to God about it but thenI just keep remembering every single sin from my whole life -even from when I was 5 or 8 years old
