I just came from another video, and the comment section was rife with people telling everyone how they weren't really believers because they were still sinning. Like, sinning AT ALL. Lot of 1 John being quoted and so much judgment. I'm glad I found this. It made me go back and read Acts and Romans again.
They take James out of context too. I believe it's because all the false teachers here on youtube. Jesus sees it all and He's got us.

Im being torn apart by all 8 of these I think my only worry is that im not sure im growing as I should I my hunger and desire for God is not what it was when I first believed 8 years ago I have rare moments where im in worship and having joy in the Lord but I jsut think is this just emotions and not faith/Holy spirit etc is that 1 way satan can get us ? Ive been in so much confusion for 8 years
Satan will definitely use your emotions against you.
The basis for your salvation is Jesus Christ and nothing else.
As an emotional guy who's struggled myself. There has to come a point when you just take God at His word and say Jesus is enough.
Doubts will still come but don't feed into them. Just go back to Jesus.
Always remember the devil wants you to "feel" alone. You aren't alone, thousands of believers battle this issue. John Bunyan, John Wesley, Oswald Chambers, etc. just to name a few.
Stand fast in His grace.
Satan does that, I'm going thru that season too. Devil will also try to intervene in worship or prayer, he wants to stop the connection with God. Yep, satan will also try to condemn u and use hell too to doubt ur salvation.
Keep praying, ask God also if there is any open doors that might be open, u can search on TH-cam what is open doors to the demonic, just to get an idea.. renounce anything, do some mini fasts, pray, seek self deliverance, keep praying to God to deliver u too of whatever sin ur struggling, like doubt or unbelief, fear, etc... any sin that God is highlighting to u. And don't be alarmed if ur healing doesn't come straight away, press on, until it unfolds into the physical realm, keep seeking God. Also do communion at home too, and pray whatever u need in the communion prayer that God will heal you of doubt, sickness etc etc.. and strengthen ur faith, anoint urself with oil, get some oil and prayer for God to anoint it in Jesus name, there is some anointed oil prayer on YT and online too. U will overcome, just kep pressing into God, follow his commands, look at the 10 commandments, this is a good start, sabbath Saturday is a good day of rest for God.
im going thru this myself right now too. God bless u, Jesus is coming soon we are in the book of revelation and this is why battles are intense, this is another reason we have to keep examining ourselves that we too don't have doors open to the devil, sometimes it can be a heart issue like unforgivenes esp to ur enemies, just realised I too had this issue and being chastised for it, God can use even the enemy to correct us and this can be part of the refininers fire. Just hang in there, u will get thru it, just go thru the fire and u will come out stronger.
With greatest respect and asked humbly… Please help! About four years ago, Wretched featured a video with Steve Lawson, 10 points to be sure we’re saved. In contrast, this video’s content, and much of the Word, other worship leaders, suggest differently. My only point?? It can be trying at times to truly understand and feel absolutely assured. Love your content, and grateful for it!
