    I have a Karcher 1700 cube in which I connect a 50’Kobrajet hose, Mosmatic short gun, and an MTM wand. The hose is connected to a Coxreels. Im going to upgrade to the Active 2.0 when it drops next month. I want more than 2 gpm and that model exceeds it easily.

      That's an awesome setup. That active 2.0 looks its going to be great machine for car detailing. Thanks for sharing.

    One piece of missing information is how you connect from the M22 fittings on the Flexilla pressure hose to the 3/8" male inlet on the pressure washer gun?

    Great Video two thumbs up 👍 👍
    Bummer that it doesn't have a holster for the gun or a spot to hang the hose.

    Great video. I wonder if this would be an upgrade from the cube k1700.Thanks.

      Both have good attributes. The k1700 has very similar specs and can produce slightly higher gpm with the right nozzle … all that for a cheaper price. The K1900 has a better motor that should last longer.

    Since they don't make this anymore with the induction motor. Which would you recommend that does has an induction motor and allows me to replace the hose reel?

    Where do turbo nozzle usually used for and what are those stains on them wood planks?

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use the turbo nozzle on wheels and inner fender liners; sometimes i'll use it on the paint as well (keeping it at least a foot away). The stains on the wood planks came from paint overspray. Thanks for watching.

    Any opinion on the Greenworks 2300?

    Trying to decide between this or the k1700

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the motor in the k1900 is better than the one in the K1700 so it should last longer. The k1700 has a marginal amount of more flow and is easier to transport around and install on a shelf due to just being a cube.

    So mine leaks and it’s NEW-by the hose water connection

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Weird. Make sure the little rubber O-ring inside the garden hose is in good shape and not crushed. Try that and let me know. If its obviously leaking from the machine itself, contact Karcher customer service. These pressure washers have an awesome warranty.

    Good video but According to Karcher the 1900 has a universal motor not the induction motor.

    I’m rocking a ryobi 2000 right now that I painted to look like a kranzle😂. The stock hose and gun are awful. I was about to buy an MTM SGS-35 but I’m on a budget so I’ll buy the Mickillins gun instead. Just bought an Uber flex hose from Walmart. Gonna get quick disconnects next.

    • @adamg.1845

      You think the Ryobi is better than the Greenworks 2000?

    I am so confused. My 1800 cube is really loud.

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the 1800 comes with a universal motor. The unit that I have came with an induction motor (not anymore, now universal).

  • @txhousa2780
    @txhousa2780 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Caution: this K1900 uses universal motor, not induction motor in K2000 and up.

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      My K1900 definitely has induction motor. Completely different sound and weight compared to a universal motor. Your comment got me thinking so I looked into it a bit further. I’ve noticed that the k1900 is no longer listed as being available in Canada. I then went to the Karcher USA website and noticed that they now have a listing for a K1900PS which now has a universal motor instead of the more stout induction motor.

      @@TheCarDetailingChannel It's likely Karcher cheaps it out. What do you think about plastic parts used in your pressure washer? Do you feel high quality or cheap plastic?

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@txhousa2780 So far so good with my pressure washer. The plastic parts are holding up well, but that being said, I also try to care of my equipment and not be overly rough with it. The motor and pump is really the only part of the washer I care about anyway and those seem to be quality. This pressure has served me well over the years as an enthusiast/weekend detailer. I’m waiting for it to break so I can get an AR Blue ahah

      The pressure level is good for my use (washing cars and pressure washing the moss off of my deck). What sucks is the GPM. It takes forever to rinse a car, especially if I’m a little heavy handed with the soap.

      @@TheCarDetailingChannel How would you describe "forever" in minutes, and what would be the difference from a 2.0gpm? on a standard suv.
