It's so tricky to know if it's histamine or die off and how long to we keep eating to see if things go away or continue .. Ugg I'm trying to make my own cultured cream / fermented dairy ... I started eating some for past week and my cycle / spotting started 4 days before I should start and a little cramping ... normally I have no cramping and 28-29 th day I usually start .. clock work .. I feel like my estrogen levels are upped .. moody for sure w the yogurt so I backed off to just a table spoon a day .. I look horrible , hair looks gross and stringy , darker circles under my eyes skinny long face .. runny nose, wheezing .. I'm a mess.. I don't think it's worth it ... maybe I'll stick to making coconut yogurt
Start really small I am talking 1 drop maybe even dilute the drop - these foods are medicinal... you may need to dilute the drop in a quart of water and take a drop of that at first. The pathogenic die off may be overwhelming your system. In addition to this cultured cream made with kefir is the strongest probiotic out there - start with yogurt whey drops and then move on to the cultured cream with yogurt and then to kefir. Yes, your histamine may be overloaded because as we know pathogens exhale over 176 different toxic gasses into our bodies when they die off (histamine is one of them) and they all can cause different symtoms. ) Go slow. I will be opening up a free community soon so stay tuned! I would love to provide more support in your healing journey.
Hi Selena, thanks for another super informative video. I'm starting to wonder if the "histamine" reaction I keep thinking I'm having when consuming brine or sauerkraut could actually be a die off reaction 🤔 I've just assumed it's histamine intolerance since I usually get a stuffed up nose or sinus pressure (also fatigue). Maybe it's a bit of both lol
This is really common... arguably histamine can be a detox reaction as well. Pathogens exhale over 176 toxic gasses and when you kill them in the process of healing the gut they literally pop like balloons of these gasses (this is an analogy - they are essentially exhaling them on their way out) one of these gasses is histamine. So yes you may be seeing histamine flare up symptoms but it is actually pretty hard to tell since it could be a number of other chemicals being released in your system all of which may cause the same response. Almost everyone with gut imbalance will see at minimal signs of typical "histamine intolerance" because again when they start to heal the pathogens are exhaling chemicals into the system. Histamine intolerance is kind of a misnomer anyway... it's basically histamine overload. The detox process can overload the system in the same way that pathogenic overgrowth in general can cause histamine overload. All that to say. The response is the same - as long as you are not debilitated by the histamine or pathogenic/yeast die off response just keep going. Go slow, listen to your body. Meat stock and fermented brines are your medicine, increase as you feel you can.
@@wholenesscampaign thank you so much for the detailed response! I feel much more educated now. I had no idea the die off process could release even more histamine 😩 that certainly explains a lot! I am not debilitated by it, thankfully. So I will keep going! Thank you for giving me the confidence to keep at it because I was reluctantly about to cut out fermented foods completely 🥺 I am also taking dessicated beef kidney for extra DAO and it does seem to help. I noticed someone else also commented on histamines 😅 Looking forward to your free community, I will absolutely be joining ❤️
Have you tried pickles before?? Have you ever had a wild reaction like this?? 🤍
