Now I know why the design didn't change that much over the years, my 09, 4.0 has given me good service so far , I be dam if I'll pay fifty thousand for a mid size truck.
For anyone thinking of getting one, here are several problems that you notice after a while; (owner of an ST-X) The front headrests are horrible- too far forwards, and you can’t adjust it properly. The dash is very glossy and reflective making it not only a scratch magnet, but also a pain in the eyes on a sunny day. The horn, like mentioned in the review, is poorly designed to say the least. Random beeps when parking happen more often then not. The touchscreen is a force touch instead of capacitive, which is fine for gloves, but not for fingers, using the map is easier with the physical buttons then rubbing vigorously against the barely responsive, high friction screen. The engine is loud, and weak, and the transmission is just as bad, manual intervention is nice to have, and is essential should you want to drive efficiently, as 7th gear is almost impossible to achieve normally.
but we know the truth. nissan didn't give you even a buiscit for it . competing with ford. 5 star room, elite alcohol and meals. ofcorse, this is one of the worst ute on market, same as Holden and amarok
Why cant they just give us the diesels. In canada and the usa we want the diesels but they are so much more strict on emissions that you just cant have them down here an if they do give us diesel there is so much emissions equipment they get terrible mileage
bought Navara 2X2 2018 here in Philippine s , the most comfortable ride, smooth acceleration AT like a gasoline engine

Just ordered the SL Silverline. They seem like really solid utes.
