Three years later! What a whimsical, delightful sewing journal! Creative genius!
Thank you so much!
Mind blown!!!!! GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! xo M
Thanks, Michele. Did you recognize the butterfly doily?
@@KippsKorner I sure do they were a pair, I love them!!! You used them great!!! Thanks xoxoxoxo M
I mentioned them in my first take of the video, but had to re-record a portion and forgot to mention it the second time around. LOL.
This journal is exceptional!! I love it. My mother was a seamstress and also quilted. Not by machine. By hand. So naturally I fell in love with your work here. She is no longer with us but I know she would adore your work as well. 🥰
Thank you. That’s so kind of you to say!
Wow! You just opened the cover and I am in awe! Exquisitely beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!!
The whole journal is stunning but the cover is beyond words. WOW
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I’m a retired home economics teacher and costume maker With LOTS of items for a sewing journal. I’ve made many nature journals which I love, but creating a sewing journal seems overwhelming. I have many sewing journal videos from fantastic junk journal makers saved. After watching your video; I believe I’m ready. You’re an inspiration!
Oh wow! I’ll bet you have tons. Start small - pick out a few elements that you like and then go from there. You absolutely can do it! Good luck!
This is so darn cute, love all the trims and lace, it definitely is fabulous. Debbie, your work is always amazing and it is so obvious you put a lot of care and love into each of your journals. TFS Hugs and Smiles
Thank you, Lori!
This journal is absolutely MAGNIFICENT ... I just love everything about it - if this is your first attempt I can't wait to see what you come up with next! TFS.
LOL. Thank you!
It turned out absolutely gorgeous Debbie, I love all the pages, and all the slow stitching, and everything, Its just amazing. Tyfs :)
Thank you so much, Lorelle!
It turned out so very pretty! I love the little things you describe having fun making that you put into it like the spool that you put embroider thread on and then something I'd have never thought of, crackle medium! So fun! And the scissors on the front..oh my.
Thank you! I can’t take credit for the scissors - that’s an appliqué. 😊
The book is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Thank you so much for all the inspiration!!! Stay safe and take care, hugs from Helen 🤗
Thank you, Helen!

Welcome! And thank you.
I know this video is 2 yrs old but could you tell me where I might find the thread and scissor appliques? Simply stunning.
Thank you! I know I had it for awhile before I used it - so it’s probably closer to 3 years ago. 😁 I do think that I had purchased from my local JoAnn’s.
This is so beautiful and calming! I love the color scheme. The first pocket is to die for!!!!! Can you please tell me the name/author of the book you used the pages from? (the learning to sew pages) , thank you!
Thank you! The name of one of the books was ‘Modern Home Sewing’ by Drucella Lowrie and Sylvia Maher. I don’t have a cover/first pages to the other one, but I think the pages you mentioned were in that first book.
@@KippsKorner thank you!
absolutely amazing may i ask how you got your binder holes with the metal parts?
Thank you! Those are very small eyelets that I attached with an eyelet setter.
Beautiful. Are you selling it?
Thank you! Yes, but it is already sold.
Lovely journal!!
Thank you!
