Very big in india. The gold diastar original is THE WATCH for old Indian doctors. I bought mine in India from an AD in 2004 for $390. It is beautiful.

Most Rado Diastars came to India from 70s to early 2000s. They were mostly brought to India by people coming from Gulf/Middle East

I absolutely agree with that, Rado is very big in India - in the luxury segment, of course - everyone in India knows about Rolex and Rado, when you say luxury watches that's what people assume you're talking about.
PS: It's funny but Rado isn't really that expensive here; relatively. Then again, only the .25% of the population can afford that here even at that price.

I have 2 diastar Rado. 1 black face and silver outer which I bought myself. And 1 Gold with black face which belonged to my Later Father May God rest his soul in peace Ameen. My Father gave it to me on my wedding. I only wear that on special occasions. I'm currently trying to buy a Manhattan blue face. I love the rectangular/square face.

Great video guys. I like the Rado,s. Do own a Centrix, as does Dad. Nicely rwfined dress pieces but just wish that they would go beyond the 3 atm and implement screw pins instead of the vastly pin and sleeve system. Otherwise very nice.

If they put better movements in the watches maybe they’d be more popular, but as they are they’re too much money for something with the cheap powermatic movements that are in cheaper watches such as Tissot, and Hamilton etc!
