Klatt is far and away the best in the business. So knowledgeable and so much respect for his peers.
lol He couldn't handle MI destroying OSU last year and it was obvious during the broadcast. He still can't handle Harbs being better than OSU this year.

Klatt, unlike Colin, has actually seen a CFB season before. He knows that teams can, in fact, improve as the season goes on. Colin seems to think that the SEC championship is next week

As somebody who doesn’t value CFB, I tune into this segment every week just to educate myself. It’s wild how smart Klatt is.
Oklahoma will have a natty in the next 3 years. Riley was a great coach but I think BV is going to be the perfect coach for OU.

Oklahoma fan here....Let me start by saying that this USC team good really good . Any Sooner fan that says Riley is no good , is lying to themselves. Riley is one of the best offensive minds in the game. Caleb Williams might be the best QB in the country. The only thing I have a problem with Colin is when he said on the his podcast on The Volume and he said Oklahoma is Doomed.
We shall see with this Oklahoma team. OU could could s#$t themselves but I think they could possibly be a great team.

We gotta see what a lot of these teams look like against real comp. Most teams look good in the first 3-4 weeks cause those are typically the “easy” confidence builder games.

Colorado St, Hawaii, and UConn who are a combined 2-9 give me a break. I would agree Clemson and Oklahoma are both better then Michigan. Alabama my team is 2nd the best team in the country and Colin hates us 😂

OU has yes stomped on three teams that have a combined record last year of a 17 -22 I wouldn’t call that a very big success story, they’re playing cupcake teams.

You said usc isnt going to beat Notre dame and utah. I agree the defense absolutely sucks they just steal possessions with all of the turnovers but I could bet 10 thousand dollars that USC will beat both of those teams.

Don’t sleep on Clemson, they have a pretty easy schedule and plenty of time to fix up some of the offensive problems and their defense is good enough to create some turnovers. Not my team, but they looked like dog doody and went 10-2 last year.

Saban said last year was a rebuilding year but Bama isn't as good now as they were last year. The offensive line is worse and they don't have all those stud receivers anymore. There's not one "dude" on the depth chart.

Bob stoops handed Lincoln Riley the 3rd best team in the nation. His first year they were again the third best team. Every year after that it degraded, little by little, till he ran away cause questions were starting to be asked. He took a 3rd best team in the nation to where it couldn’t win the Big 12 and losing to OSU for the first time in 7 years. I’m sure he will get USC to consistent 8 win seasons, but I doubt he’s going to do anything special especially when he’s got to play consistently in a conference that values defense for a change come 2024.
Crazy. I’m currently going through an alcohol problem myself. Never would’ve thought Joel would relate, he seems like such a healthy, confident guy. I already liked him because knows his football, now even more. Congrats on 11 years Joel.

The alcohol withdrawals are so terrible
Anyone can have an problem with alcohol. I say that because I'm one of those people. I'm in my tenth year of sobriety and if someone saw me now vs when I started my journey would say I don't even look like the same person. Getting sober was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but with faith and the help of sober people I changed my ways. Take it one day at a time and seek out those who are sober and you'll be successful.
I swear this show with these two gives me Truman show vibes like they know they’re live but they talk also like no one’s around 😂
These two together is like sitting a boothe at your local bar and becoming engrossed in the conversation coming from the boothe behind you. You just can't stop eavesdropping.
The OU/Lincoln Riley divorce is a situation that was best for both parties.

apparently beating UTEP, Kent State and a coachless Nebraska is the second most impressive thing he has seen all season. Honestly what's the difference between OU's resume and Ole Miss'? Only difference is OU is a bigger brand.
@@AlphaDwg I would say everyone has seen them allow fewer points during their first three games than what Lincoln allowed in just the Tulane game to start the season last year. People have seen them play extremely physical and tough.....people are seeing that the only thing they have been missing for a decade.....they now have. There's a reason all these national guys who initially said OU would fall apart are changing their tune. They just look like something they haven't for a very very long time.
As a Boomer Sooner fan I wouldn't ever expect to ever hear Cowherd say I have your back. I don't remember seeing him in the fan room with the rest of us lol.

LR couldn't fix the defense at OU for his tenure there. In fact the OU defense (and offense by the way) kept getting worse and worse
Man i’m having some issues in my life and have been considering self harm for a while but hearing joel talk about bad situations producing perseverance really changed my outlook, even if just for today.

I love LA media trying to boost USC interest, with constant comparisons and references to OU. It's not going to make LA suddenly a relevant football media market, but I appreciate the effort.

Really cool to see Klatt open up about his past struggles with Alcohol. Already loved him as a commentator but things like this only make me root for him even more not only on commentary but as a person
The last 3 minutes of this segment were fantastic. Klatt is a good man and an excellent asset for college football.

Michigan has also played CSU, Hawaii and UConn. Probably all bottom 10 teams in the country. Doesn’t take away from from their success but there’s a reason why they’re scoring 60 a game.

Alabama returns their 2 fastest WR's in 2 weeks. Both are starters. Bama is the only team more talented then UGA. It will be a war. Bama moved the ball easy on Texas when than went up tempo. Young is so special. Ton of credit to UGA. The speed at LB is what seperates the 2 SEC powers.
Moving the ball on TX isn't anything that special. They're 2-2 and mediocre at best.
