Tide up and down. 2024 is a new year, only thing I was worrying now is Saban retiring rumor, the way he appears and reacts in the TV this season, the way he talked about this year's team, just make me think he is tired. Consider he is 72 and already set up another legend, and the competition in the league. Most of loss to his former assistants happened in recent 3 years, I think he is in fact thinking of step down the stage.

Dude, the kid's heel was clearly out of bounds, and then he came back in bounds before fully establishing himself to make the INT. That's against the rules. It's not that hard to understand.

They showed that play from two angles. The first angle really did make it look like the Alabama DB was up on his toes and never had his heel come down out of bounds. The second angle clearly showed his heel on the ground, or, at least, down in the top of the grass, which I think is treated as part of the ground. The play was properly called.
McCarthy had a receiver wide open, but while on the run and under some pressure he grossly overthrew the guy.
Skip has spent his time this season watching his beloved Cowboys and ignoring the Wolverines. Corum is not a "small guy". He's 213 lbs. and does most of his running between the tackles. McCarthy is one of the very best QBs in college football, but gets overlooked in some quarters due to Michigan's emphasis on the run game. If all you see is the stat sheet at game's end, you can easily get the idea that Michigan and McCarthy cannot throw the football. If given the chance to shine, or if it was ever needed in a game during the regular season, McCarthy could easily have thrown for 450 yds., but Michigan typically ran to a big lead and benched their starters in the 3rd Qtr.

Michigan punter had a bad night. He usually punts an average of 45-46 yds, and all season the majority of his punts were between the 0 and 20 yd line. He was off in this game, but hopefully he gets back to how great he performed all season prior to this game.
Michigan offense and defense beat Alabama, and Michigan’s special teams did everything they could to give the game away.
On the 2nd muffed punt, they had their 11th guy running on to the field late, so they didn’t even know who was supposed to be out there.
