    Dude, you never showed how you mounted the case to the monitor or explained how that affected anything which is the only selling point of the entire build.

      +Gh0sT yeah sorry about that camera died during that scene and I didn't realize it until editing, it mounts to the back with 4 screws though, sorry

      ISK110 case just has a vesa mount on its side that allows you to mount it with any monitor that has a standard vesa slots

    • @jaykeeggleston4093
      @jaykeeggleston4093 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      DuDe, pause the video at the beginning and look at the box for the case. Shows that it can mount with vesa, which is standard on most monitors.

If you are up for another all in one pc I am trying to build one with 2 spare laptop monitors screwed on the case with hinges, and thougt it awould make a nice vid. dude your content is extremely good for a channel that has 1000 subs! when I had a thousand subs my videos where pure crap! keep up the good work I really enjoyed watching this. Can you make a gamers build with an all in one system so similar to this but a gamer style. I wanna see what monitor you will pick and also what video card.
    I'm getting ready to make my first custom built pc video!
    Great job for your mom I ended up getting my mom a mac mini that was smaller and thinner that I probably could of mounted to the tv she had but it was just so easy and only cost 500

  • @DoomWalker42
    @DoomWalker42 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    If it was a really low power gpu like a 750 or a 1050 would it be possible to make a slit in the case lid and use a gpu riser cable to mount the card? You could then somehow make a mounting solution on the monitor or make a mounting station for the GPU on the table that the monitor sits on. Just a thought! Though then you'd probably be looking at a Kaby Lake Pentium CPU and a GTX 1050. Doubt the PSU could handle much graphical power.

    • @NeXTechYT
      @NeXTechYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Tom Brown that PSU definitely couldn't handle that but I think in the future I'm going to make another build like this one with a gpu, most likely a 1050 or 1050 ti and mount the GPU to back of monitor and I replace the PSU I used in this video with a 300w hdplex

    I got this computer case! I mounted it to a wall since I made it my pfsense box. Was useful since the mounting bracket is easily removable and it is very low profile. Just wish I could put a gpu in it.

    Nice build man, I have been looking at building in this case for a while and have been faffing about on pcpartpicker trying to get the wattage for my build within the 90w psu on the Antec. Wow man when i input your parts the wattage listed is around 180w so double. Could this be a problem longer term? You seem way way over the recommended load on the psu. Thanks for the video man, really enjoyed it.

    • @NeXTechYT
      @NeXTechYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +The Man of Mead the set up I have in the video maxes out at 180w if you max out everything but what she does on the computer isn't very extensive so it probably doesn't go over the 90w threshold other wise it doesn't work, down the PSU could fail because of this but if it does I'll just replace it, I would suggest using an hdplex if your looking to make your own version of this they go as high as 300w and the antec cases included PSU looked like it was the same size as an hdplex

    • @DestaniKitchen
      @DestaniKitchen 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      By Attachments I mean adding more power into it would it have enough room for it the stage of what it is right now?. So it can handle 3 monitors and streaming that's good. What one thing would you change on it may I ask on the inside of it?.Okay would the stream be clear cut or laggy.

    hey zac, i was thinking of building something similar with the comp mounted on the back of the monitor. how did you overcome the power button, by that i mean will your mom always have to reach the back of the monitor to power up the pc? is there a wake by monitor or something?

      +theloudninja Sadly you do have to reach around for the power button but my mom always leaves on her computer so it wasn't a big deal for her, if I were to make another one I'd definitely find a way to make the power button more accessible

    Could the case be mounted on any monitor?; I mean wouldn't it be too heavy for one particular monitor? and would it make a huge difference if a box of that size just kept on the desk?; isn't the power button hard to reach when the case is at the back?
    and btw, how did you connect your computer with the mom's?

    • @NeXTechYT
      @NeXTechYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Gayantha Vitharanage most monitors with vesa mount can support it, but some of the monitors stands might not be able to support the extra weight, but yes the power button is hard to reach, unless you use a remote power on switch like this: amzn.to/2znahwB

    One simple question: why not using directly a NUC? (OK, less fun, but you save time, money and have a great productive pc for non-pro users)

    • @NeXTechYT
      @NeXTechYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Francesco Varrato Because a equivalent nuc is the same price, I already had most of her parts since they were leftovers from old builds, the only thing I really needed was the case, plus long term this way everything is 100 percent modular where a nuc is not, a nuc would still be a great alternative to doing this build

    Hello,
    I am a Phd Math student and musician composer that really enjoy technology and particularly the freedom given by digital notes (erasing, moving objects etc...) I'm actually searching for two devices : - One would look similar to the surface pro but with a 15,6 inches or 17 (preferably) screen because 12 inches is a joke for good dual screen work.
    It would be of course detachable, operating with a wireless keyboard and mouse and a stylus for notes. It would have power, storage and good graphics, running windows 10 & Co but without touchpad.
    I saw also product like the Eve V that is crowed developed but still with a 12 inches screen.
    The only correct laptop i found was the Dell Inspiron 7000 17 but there is still a touchpad and it is not detachable.
    Do you think it is possible to create one yourself?
    - I enjoy the idea of the surface studio 1 (and the next 2 that would appear in some years) but find the price a shame. Is it possible to make something similar to the surface studio with the same frontal and lateral rotation?
    I think creating your own desktop could be a super interesting experience but is it possible ?
    Have a nice day, regards from France ! Paul Lanthier

      @NeXTechYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's definitely possible to create your own desktop! When you say you'd like to make something like the surface studio are you looking for the pen interactivity? or just the flexibility and beauty of that screen?

    • @NeXTechYT
      @NeXTechYT  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It'd be possible but probably not practical. It'd be way bulkier and clunky compared to anything manufactured.

    Power efficiency doesn't mean that it consumes less power, it means that it consumes less power for the same task. An i7 is in that term more power efficient because it consumes less power than an i5 for the same task. Sorry I'm just being picky here. I really liked the video!

    What mum use's a i5. Does she do any lite gaming or image or video editing? 16 Gigs? If all she use's is excel and quick book, use a new Pentium and 8 gig's of ram at tops. This was a total over kill build.

    The Idea for the Pc is Great! But i have some issues.... I think expansion Cabels for all USB ports where better to use. r the Reset and Start Button.... Maybe you build a little Case for these two buttons to reach these better. Mounting on the Foot on this Monitor or somwhere else convenient. The rest of this Pc is Amazing! "invisible" Powerful! Hey it runs a little bit of Games too! Indie Games etc. I Think thats a Good overall PC. And maybe i build my Own. Thanks for this Video. i Learned a Lot.

    why spend more (I'm assuming) on glowing fancy ram when you can get sticks that don't have the heatsink that for cheaper? id get it if were gonna be in a desktop that had a window or something but if the computer is gonna be attached to the back of the monitor I don't get the point.

      i have a very small room and I only have the spaces of one desk so yep computer going wall mount I going to build the core p5 because I want more hard drive spaces I believe the core 3 only has two 3.5inch drive bays were the p5 has 4 I guess that's why you have that hard drive on show below your cooler

    • @NeXTechYT

      I havent found one yet, but for certain not the one you used since I will need to pop a GPU in there. Maybe something like the CM Elite 130, but it would have to act like a stand/base for the monitor. You attaching that case to the back was brilliant for its purpose. Might do that for my mom as well.
