When a game like this in 1995 had what was considered as amazing graphics, and does scenes like showing Midgar and adding the music to it, it adds a special element to the game
This game really set the tone for me of what a good rpg is. Emotional, action packed, good design, thoughtful, deep story, deep character development, rich rpg aspects, cinematic. I still come back to it for inspiration in 2022
Just imagine the FF7 Cutscenes but in the Style of for example FF8 or FF9. I'm so impressed by how well those cutscenes look and I would love to see the FF7 cutscenes be made like that. I know, I know there's remake and shit but still tho. Imagine it. I swear if Ever Crisis does exactly this...
Film is incredible, and final fantasy has revolutionized gaming and film, it's wonderful to think that all 6 first games hade a limited staff of 20 people and also very amazing that the first ff pixel maker was female, incredible games all of them
" with the expanded capabilities of the sony playstation, we made possible for sephiroth to throw a materia at cloud, float up and then do front flip and fly away"
Such a powerful gaming experience. Sure, it looks dated now...but for the 90s, this game was amazing. Great visuals, iconic sound track, powerful story...this is perhaps the most impactful game I ever played..I'm sure I'm not the only one
I would love to see a full fledged documentary with the entire production staff. How the concepts for the world came about

Safe to say Uematsu's musical experiment was a smash success! Arguably the best soundtrack ever!

Final Fantasy VII was released at the perfect time, in my opinion.
FF7R did too

Oooph. What a traumatising scene. I played this 1999, when I was 13. I will never forget.
Many FF games have been as amazing as FF VII, but IMO FF VII is one of the most important games ever made in history.

Where can you get the physical media of this video?
That's a lost cause. Better just download an emulator and the game rom.
