Dude your whole Black Future album cover is insane! I’m looking forward to Outer Isolation!! P.S. Where are you learning to play Vektor’s songs so accurately from? I would love to (attempt and miserably fail to) play them myself.
hey thank you so much i appreciate it!! to learn the songs i listen at .75 or even half speed if necessary, in combination with any live footage i can find. even if the video quality is terrible or its filmed for afar your can still see where their hands kinda are on the fretboard so that's a pretty big clue to figure out what's happening. And after that i play around the section to see if it makes sense, like sometimes if a riff or a sequence of notes feel awkward to play or something just feels of it means i'm probably playing it wrong so i'll listen again or watch the live video more closely. A lot of it is just insticts/common sense as well like thinking "what's the easiest/ most comfortable way to play this riff", or "what's the most logical way they came up with this" etc. Also i would say not being afraid to make it too easy/simple, a lot of the time i would think i heard a weird chord and try a bunch of awful fingerings that would never work, and couldn't see anything on the video, to later figure out that it's the most simple barred minor chord that sounds right or something like that haha. Please use my videos if you'd like i think they are fairly accurate(at least more than the tabs you can find online) good luck on your vektor training, studying their songs is always making me improve, and i think its the most fun to play on the guitar! :)
