What Paul said is true to the majority of Thai people. People would feel strange with the concept of being highly ambitious. People will go more in term being moderately strive for your goal. Having a happy mind is very important.
You can do 4 more videos: Living in Thailand at 400THB a day; 300THB a day; 200THB a day; and 100THB a day. Very much possible.
I would say my average was 200-250B a day, but then I tend to be a bit less spendy and deliberately avoid things such as: Going to foreign food places, I don’t drink / can go without any drinking, I don’t shop a lot except for real necessities and toiletries, and I walk whenever I can (yeah I know despite the heat).
@@sebastianniqvist3144I’ll tell you what I tell some other people. If you aren’t serious and you are here to troll and have nothing positive to contribute, just keep quiet.
If I do that and get sick, just pay my medical bills for me ok?
@@AbsoluteZero6714 you are going to get sick anyway sweating under the Bangkok heat the whole day and not drinking any water …. It just costs 10 baht. Or go drink from a pond in a public park?
ผมใช้เงินวันล่ะ250บาท ชื้อน้ำท่อม
I’ll just stay home all day 😁
Your vlogs are becoming very professional and polished, the editing is great.
I have routinely gone back to BKK and stayed for 2-3 weeks between jobs just reading or working on my projects, sometimes just swimming in my condo pool/gym then meeting random ppl and they drive me around to meet their fav local hunts. Totally get the vibe.
Love all your videos Joyce. Keep up the good work!
Joyce, the meeting with Paul was fantastic. It is so right about the people and the environment in Thailand, I watch his channel and yours, and love it! A a retiree, I wish I could have lived the life you are both living! Be Happy and Prosper!
Finally you are not alone anymore.🎉
I have seen a few of your videos. Love your cuteness, openness, boldness and curiosity. Welcome to Thailand. Hope you enjoy being in Thailand. Subscribed!
Congrats on your channel slowly growing !
yay another vlog! wow your day was jam packed get some well deserved rest!😊
☺️
It's about time you went on a date
Take your time, find the right person. You will only be just so young and pretty for just a split second. If it feelsl ok, take a chance. For me me, the more videos I watch, the more I am infatuated with your personality. Apologies. I didn't mean to come across that strongly. I only meant to say that you have a very natural and pleasing way of coming across in front of the camera.
Such great content! Thanks for sharing
I smiled unconsciously from the beginning to the end of this video. Thank you for your lovely video again. 😊
love the videos. keep it up!
I loved this episode too! I think the key of your videos the simplicity. You do what you do and on a natural way. And I like your jokes and random situations 😁
interesting stuff happens in Thailand 😂
@@joycehysin^^
Joyce's favourite phrase: "SO DOWN TO EARTH!"
That’s nice and cute to hear
Looking forward to more videos output from you Joyce😊 Thank you.
Joyce Sin, you are one of the most interesting vloggers out there, full stop.
There’s several reasons why I’m drawn to Joyciieee as a person. I came across her channel completely by random and at first thought she is Malaysian or from Singapore.
She is Chinese-American, I am Chinese-Canadian. (Similar background.)
She spent time in Taiwan, and she’s been to many of the exact same places I’ve been during my time there when Covid was a thing. (Shared experiences)
Love for Thailand.
Daring to go out and live solo abroad, sense of adventure and especially admire Joycieee for having the bravery as a girl. ❤️
We are both foodies.
We are both N types (INFP me, INTJ Joyce) and know about MBTI.
We are both outwardly talkative but introverted and a little shy, socially awkward beneath.
Can’t find a combination of these things all the time or every day.
I am Thai , I used 300 Baht
for going to school
- For : Bus / Boat
- Eat Launch afternoon
(Food/Coke/Desserts)
- A little bit shopping
(Giftshop/Stationary 20 Baht)
I have 50 Baht for saving in my pig box. 😁
That was cool of Friends from Thailand to foot the bill 👍🏻
Nice healthy salad and a good mini-interview. I am happy your date went well.
Great to see you have local Thai friends so you can go anywhere with them and enjoy living in Bangkok.
Wish u can be more consistent in dropping your videos. Love ur content and wish to see more. WE THE PEOPLE NEED MORE LOL Happy holidays
I’ll try ~ been busy these day 🙏🏼
Hi! Joyce. Thank You for sharing this interesting vlog. Nice to see you going on a date. Hope you find your
Mr. Right soon. Good Luck!
i started binge watching ur channel recently and i have to say i picked up on the 2 words/phrases u always use: “sketch” and “down to earth” 🤣
Hahaha, and boujee! 😂
the picture that you hug yours viewer is so sweet❤
So happy for you getting date. 👏 🎊 🎉
Enjoy the “cold” season in Thailand while it lasts, Joyciieeee. ^^ It doesn’t last for long and it will be back to hot and then hotter weather from February onwards.
I think I might have eaten lunch at the exact same restaurant you went to in Chinatown, the food looks very similar. Is good. The dessert place I don’t think I was there, but I might have pass by it.
One of the girls her nickname (chu len) BamBam, made me laugh a bit because the only BamBam I know is the guy from Korean group GOT7 (which by the way Jackson Wang also part of).
I sometimes go to 7-11 and they have audio recording of Jackson Wang trying to speak Thai and talking about water, 555. ^^
I think you really like it when someone does small gestures for you to show they care about you. We are the same.
On average my daily spending more like 200-250 B because I am a little afraid to have a lot of international food, I only go shopping for the basics and I walk whenever I can (despite the heat), yeah crazy me.
Always funny and cute, as usual, Joyciie ❤️
Your full cheeks is nice
So 15k steps is a lot for you, I guess you have some catching up to do :))
Sponser should come in your channel .. what a busy day and 1 last thing i thought every subcribers need to know more about the lucky guy in black t shirt
ดีใจที่เห็นคุณ ทานอย่างมีความสุข อาหาร😊🎉❤
The moment I saw the holding hands I went "aaww". Wishing you for the best!
Yayyy, Joyce on a date ❤

inspiring endings always. “if you really want something you’ll find a way to get it.”
Living in Thailand, It is super cheap for foreigners. Especially those from the 1st world country. As A Thai, I currently, live on less than $600 per month in Bangkok.
I AM LITTERALLY SO IN LOVE WITH UR VLOGS HEHEHEHWH!!
thanks 💩

บะหมี่น่ากิน, คุณกำลังมีความรัก ยินดีด้วย.
As a new subscriber I enjoyed your TL journey. Too bad you didn’t featured Paul a bit more. Liked to see other foreigner perspective living in TL and your reaction.
I came to Bangkok now to see it the way you do

As long as he's a good guy, I'm happy for her. 😭😭
I really love your videos, and you are so beautiful.
I been thinking about moving to Thailand too or want to stay in Thailand for months if I could..Maybe one day! Rn I need to make sure my financial situation is good first 😢
I like all your videos 👍
You’ll get there! In Joyciiee’s words, keep manifesting. 😊Steady steps one step at a time.
you will 🔮
The scary cables hanging on top of streets will be soon buried under the ground in Bangkok - it might take ~10 year. I read it on Bangkok Post early this year or before the covid.
09:09 I was heartbroken when I saw that scene.
Think if she showed the scenes after going back home...

Nice vlog. I'm going to bkk & phuket during the holidays :). I'm khun thai.

Apple Cider Vinegar refreshing drink to save even more money. Can help replace your buying of sweet drinks.
Add ½ cm hot water in a cup
Add ½ teaspoon of honey
Stir until honey is dissolved
Add 3 ice cubes and stir for about 20 seconds
Add 1 cap or teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and stir ( Organic if possible - otherwise regular )
Top up cup with cold filtered water and stir
Optional ingredients for additional health benefits
Microwave a small amount of grated garlic and ginger with one teaspoon of water for 20 to 30 seconds. Then add to drink and stir well.
I saw you in Chinatown too but didn't dare go in and say hello.😅😅
Out of all the places I have visited in my 60 years Thailand was the most fun. Really nice people and really cheap compared to American standards. The only problem was the humidity. That takes getting used too
i agree with paul, as a man escaping matrix, asia is a good place. Only problem is visa, if not buying an elite visa.
Welcome to Thailand from Bangkok,Thailand.
I personally spend around 150-300 baht a day, just on meals. If I add all my expenses, including gas, snacks, and other supplies, I'd say 500 baht is my daily maximum. Back in college, during tight budget times, I spent only 100-150 baht a day, including transportation. It's quite doable if you plan well and eat only at local food stalls.

As a fellow intj who is moving to bangkok to stay for a year, because why not. A dying question i have is; how do you deal with the mosquitoes?
i was out on yaowarat for a good 1hour 1 night just to get dinner and tour the market. went back to my then hotel with 12 bites, and i'm not exaggerating :') please share some tips!
PS; besides your self thoughts video which i found really calming and peaceful to watch. This video had a different vibe, and is still entertaining, keep it up!

Joyce, new subscriber here. I absolutely love your style of videos and your sense of humor. I know you already know this, but I think it would be good to invest in some proper equipment.
So...The tips is tag along with Chon when they are making video. Hahaha. 😄

185 Baht just for my vanilla latte at Starbucks. For me an average day is about 1,000 baht I’d say.
Joyce!! I don’t know if u like cats but if u do u should check out the Caturday Cat Cafe. I went there when I was in BKK in may it was so cute ❤❤
You have quite a talent for interviewing. If you enjoy doing it, i think you could become even become as successful as Takashii

@@joycehysin Thank you! Appreciate your good vibes! Been a fan since you landed in BKK!

Spending 500thb per day is IMPOSSIBLE for me. Since i live in suburb bkk, the moment i step outside my house, 200thb is automatically going into transportation, and the rest is just food and drinks. BTW, sis, your date is literally soooo cute and definitely is a keeper!!!!
You can tell that her date is a keeper from just about 2 minutes of the video?
@@SV-kr9fuit’s typical thai girl…
@@SV-kr9fu In bkk, from my experience, it's hard to find a guy who makes a good gesture. So yeah, if a guy knows what cerave is and buys it for me because he's worried about my skin getting dried, that tells a lot about him tho, like paying attention to his date😅
@@pakdeetipsukontorn3615 : Ok, you have defended your position.
Can I get you a bottle of CeraVe? 😜
Thailand is a 'cheap' country with 'expensive' prices. It was still 'cheap' 10 years ago though.
I love the vibe of your videos. Interesting how you wear that shirt :). And, please wear a helmet.
Ok i go to watch the other clip from black t shirt channel already he is cute
