The main reason I bought this game was to play single player so online means absolutely nothing to me. Maybe the arcade games but that's it. Nothing else matters to me

All about old school beat them up for for me too. Online play is garbage to me. I grew up an only child and played the game by myself most of the time anyway. If I did have friends come over and play with me then that was just icing on the cake and I can still do this with this version of the game, so if people don't enjoy playing on their own, then this isn't for you. But, local play with friends to me is always better than online with strangers in my opinion.
I bought the game to feel like a kid playing turtles again in the arcade with other kids. I already got that with shredder's revenge, and that came with game pass. I have no need for this overpriced game, I refunded quickly. But if you like the single player, then you'll probably love it.

A retro game store in my area has these turtles games for $3.99 each. That's cheap as hell 😆 But the Sega genesis & super Nes Sells for $200 Which is a absolute rip off.
Konami has a really bad track record for fixing online interfaces. What they do have a good record of doing is abandoning support and eventually delisting their titles.

I know some folks don't care about the online, but I found it to be fun to play with others online (although it was messed up) me and another player beat the arcade game together, that was nice to play along with someone and actually beat a game. I really hope they patch it up, because it is fun!
I came on TH-cam last night specifically looking for reviews about the online play and saw nothing and thought maybe it was just my online that was laggy , glad to know others are pissed about this too. I hope they fix this soon thanks for the video!

Your a turtles fan and being able to get 13 games of all of our childhoods for $40 is insane but its not worth it to you because you own them all which is great. The rest can't afford to pay $100+ for each game depending on the title of course. Not coughing up $500+ for all of them on the platforms they released on. This collection is great and for almost all turtle fans we get it to play on our own or on the couch co-op with friends. Noone talks about a feature we don't use. Most honestly didn't even know this came with online play. I was one of them at first lol. I hope they do fix it for the tiny minority who got this to play online. It will make this worth WAY more than $40 for damn sure if they do. I'd charge $60 for that lol. They'll hopefully fix it soon.
I definitely bought it for single player, but I would’ve probably tried multiplayer just for the novelty of getting closer to the experience that would’ve been in the classic arcades
Eh.. still worth it, just as an archive and as easy access without having to boot up MAME or whatever. They put a lot of care into this package. Is it perfect, no.. but for what it is, its great... but then I didnt get it for online play.
I was wondering why some people in the comments said that $40 was overpriced, as this collection includes so many games and has a great presentation, including a lot of production material and such. Then I realized they are just a bunch of entitled pirates who expect things to be given to them for free. I would not be surprised if they played this pirated and even found any excuse to do the same with Shredder's Revenge.
@@Gamingwithgleez i fully plan on this i don't play games online normally but i can understand why you'd be pissed about it and from the footage you showed yeah it does look like shit i'm not gonna lie however i still plan on getting it cause i normally play them as a single player anyways. the fact that there's a save option and not have to start from the start unless i'm wrong on this is a vast Improvement over the Original TMNT game. i have them all except Tournament fighter, Turtles 3 for gameboy H. height i've never played that one before, and of course the actual arcade games but those i did play back in the day. the rest i still do own in fact. i enjoy the 1st game and while it's not my favorite one it's not as bad as people say it is. Takes Manhattan is my favorite one but i never did like that you get life taken away wh3en you use that power or whatever you want to call it they give the turtles in that one. if they fix that it be a perfect game.

"Why you shouldn't buy"... Because online of old ass 20 years old or more games have sucky netcode when everyone is likey buying over single player or local reasons is mostly a non-argument. People not buying because the online doesn't work well are obviously not the game's intended target, and should never be, ever. These games were never meant to be played this way since conception and the online is merely a novelty for today's times... But still that doesn't excuse the bad netcode! 🤣
That’s a you problem. There’s more to this then just online ability. At least they incorporated in. The big appeal is the modern accessibility way to play all these games. And all but one have never been rereleased.
ehhh that doesn't excuse the online being bad tho. If you buy a product, all of it should be functional. I admit, when I get it, it's mostly for offline, but even then I would hope online works. I don't want another Scott Pilgrim where I can't even play it online should I not be able to get to a friend's.
Since buying this game I’ve been WAITING for a review that finally stated how awful the online play is. I wish I’d waited for a sale. MAYBE they’ll fix it???
I'm glad the turtles are getting more time in the spotlight.. definitely my favorite cartoon , toys and video games from my childhood.. with the release of shredders revenge and this release we got the best collection of retro games ever created in my opinion and I had to throw shredders revenge in because it obviously uses the old catalog as inspiration and has to be seen as a spiritual successor in the series.. sad they couldn't add the turtles in time re-shelled Remake from the xbox 360 to really give every version possible but it's really hard to complain with the content provided this year.. Hopefully the castlevania collections and the turtle collections will spark a ! Over the head of some vp or ceo at Konami to give us a definitive Metal Gear collection Bigger than the xbox 360 and ps3 versions
I don't think anyone bought this game for the online feature. I certainly didn't. There's a good chance I'll NEVER touch the online mode. These games weren't MEANT to be played online.

It seems a lot of people bought this game for nostalgic reasons and online play does not matter to them. These games weren't designed with online play on mind. They were. You shouldn't tell people NOT to buy a game because a feature they don't plan to use doesn't work well. It's nice to let people know, but NOT everyone is buying it for online play. There’s a major glitch on the tmnt original arcade game at least on mine it is. On the third level when you fight Baxter Stockman and the mousers in the sewer where it’s difficult to hit him and it stutters a lot and then all of a sudden you beat him without really getting a hit on him. It’s weird and annoying 🤦🏾♂️
The online worked when all the users are in a close location. I had a game with 3 UK players with minimal lag. But having random players was a problem. So assuming your only connecting to US players, the distance might be causing the problem.
Even without a online multiplayer this collection will be a piece of history and in future hard copy will be near imposible to find so for me is a mandatory buy this a dreamer collection come true tks konami and nickelodeon to make this posible

I played almost all of the games except the Gameboy games. I do plan on trying them out though. I will say Turtles in Time is the best game on the collection. I hope that helps.
Overall I'd say it's more worth it than not, but that doesn't excuse part of the product not being functional. They need to fix that. it's like fighting games with delay-based netcode... sure the games are usually really good, but what's the point if they don't work. now in this case, that's not nearly as important as it would be for a fighting game. BUT, I'm spending my money, I want all of what I'm purchasing to be functional. As long as it's eventually fixed, I don't see this being a deal breaker tho in most cases.
They probably gonna fix that issue. My minor issues i have are: No sprite flicker options on the gameboy games, No screen crop option so you can get rid of the glitched up scroll effects in the Nes games. I hoped that the gallery included clean box artwork too (art without logo's and shit) And also the tournament fighters art would be cool
I bought this for the nostalgia not the online. Nobody is covering the online because we are retro gamers. 80's and 90's kids. It is worth $40. If you were to buy all these games separately you would pay well over $40. This is an amazing collection all bundled into one. If your only hang up is the online then that is truly sad. Most of the people that bought this probably couldn't give two shits if the online works or not. Get some real friends and play couch co-op like these were meant to be played. Peace. ✌️

Imagine buying your pizza and wanting to play with others and it's unplayable. Kinda ruined my night. I know their is single player but like you said I would have waited for a sale just for single player
Completely agree, was watching some live streams on gameplay last night and the 4 player co-op online was trash, unplayable, although 2 player co-op seemed just fine. Nobody tried Tournament Fighters online. I also really want to play Tournament Fighters online. And although many will buy this for single player only, you are absolutely right, we can access these games for free or wait for a sale anytime, those that want to experience it in a brand new way, with online play, are going to be disappointed. @@tonyrosario1940 I own the Switch version of this collection and had play Tournament Fighters online for quite a while, so far I only had one match lag on me, the rest was quite good. It could just be bad internet connection on some of the users.
The collection is probably the best in terms of being feature rich and their awesome U.I. Emulation of the games are also excellent quality; but you are 200% right about the online. I also wish they added more (and better) screen filters as the ones at launch are pretty bare bines bad. I wish it had a bitmap smooth filter that looks like the filter used in the interactive video of the strategy guide section. Sonic Origins did a good job of recreating the games in appropriate wides screen without stretching the sprites; which I hope other collections do in the future.
I was very excited for this game but I lost much of my hype when I found out that the SNES version of Turtles in TIme won't be playable online for whatever dumb reason. That's one of my all time favorite games and I really wanted to talk a few friends into getting the game so we could play it and the rest of the arcade beat 'em ups together online but guess that won't be happening now.
Well, no.. if ALL you wanted was online play, sure whatever. If you just wanted a fun collection if all the classic TMNT games, then it's well worth it
I played tournament fighters with a buddy online and he was using Wifi, and I was on LAN, on the Nintendo version lol, and or connection was decent. You can also adjust the lag settings in the options , just mentioning it since you never mentioned it in the video. This was great purchase for me.
I love the TMNT from the 80s and 90s heck even love the next mutation that people hated, love the movies love the 2003 series, the 2007 movie the 2012 series oh yeah hated that thing rise of the tmnt, love the live action movies let's avoid talking about the Bay crap, I have a large collection of figures vintage and some from the NECA series, love the games from the Arcades, NES SNES man I just love to play those, the online I just don't care about I have friends that can play at home and I have my kids thar love to play it so I am a TMNT Fan just like a lot of the guys in the comments we are Fans good sir but we appreciate your point of view and hope you get your money back cheers.
I just came across this channel. I will give my 2 cents. If all people care is online then they don’t Appreciate this nostalgia. Your getting a lot of classic tmnt games. So why am I going to harp on this game? Why because online is working for some people? Online doesn’t mean much to me. Lag can happen to any game or any play session. Not everyone has a good connection.
What about couch co-op? Plz tell me it is in this game... I wanted to get it on the Switch to play with the whole family. Any answers are appreciated 👍
I noticed this too when I cracked open the game. The online play was trash but I thought maybe it was my internet connection. It's not a deal breaker for me but I feel like they tried to camouflage the online play that they knew would be horrible with all the extra content that you wouldn't normally expect. Hopefully they fix the online play with a patch soon.
Man, according to the comments, a Lot of people like to pay for roms they can play on the first iphone or whatever. The Only reason to buy something like this is for online-multiplayer - presentation and ease of access is nice, but for $40? Get this on super sale at least (maybe they'll fix the online by then!)
Well this sucks. I was hoping to play online with friends. I was thinking about buying Hyperstone Heist and Turtles In Time, but this was way cheaper. I still feel like this was a awesome pickup. My friends can't afford it right now, so I am going to probably play it offline and maybe local multi-player at my friends house.
Can you even do 2 player in TMNT II and Manhattan Project in this collection? My roommate and I were having a headache trying to figure it out. Also, even though the back of the box says a single pair of joy cons can be split between two players, it doesn't seem to actually be implemented in the game.
@@Gamingwithgleez Just figured out our issue. Each player has to play with a pro controller or 2 joy cons, the game doesn't allow the usual sideways joy-con feature for co-op (despite being listed in the controller support section on the back of the box)
Well that's a non issue for me I would've bought this collection if it only had the 2 arcade games the fact it comes with everything it does I'd feel bad if I didnt order the collectors edition which honestly isn't probably worth it but I wanted to support this release as I'd been wanting these games ever since missing out on them when they were on the wiishop
I feel like a big reason why these kind of games lag so bad online (sometimes) is because there are probably kids playing it that don't understand how bandwidth works and then download and stream and upload a billion things at once while playing the game...
Online would only be as good as the people you’re connected to. All the games except Tournament Fighters are delay based netcode, and that’s probably due to not being able to get rollback going decently enough with more than 2 people at once. I’ve seen Capcom’s Beat Em Up Bundle struggle with this beyond two people too and that was entirely GGPO.
Exactly! Also actual online netcode is NOT cheap to develop. And Digital Eclipse is known to be a low-bidder. Can't expect them to write netcode for these ROMs.

how do you play online on ps4 ? i cant invite or find any sessions for online is it true you have to download some app called parsecs ? saw a youtube vid say that but i bough gane digitally not big collectiob i cant find online play any info for ps4 users would help
There is a section on the main menu that says "Online" click that. Then you can choose from the online games. You don't need parsec for it at all. If you have any questions just let me know
yeah they need to fix this asap!! Hyperstone heist is the only one that is ok online and that not saying much. the other games if more than two players join it unplayable. I read that putting frame delay at 7 or 8 help a little though.
I’m trying to play with my nephew and join my cousin and his nephew in a lobby but only my cousin and I show up. We both have the Nintendo individual subscription, is that the problem or something else?
I got the game on sale for $30 instead of the original price and to be honest I haven’t had a single issue with it…been playing for the passed 4 or 5 hours reliving my childhood and not one problem…not sure if it’s on your end or what but not having any trouble..even online but hope all works out for you!
Too late already bought it. I enjoy the game, yes the online is crap but other than that it's all good. I finally beat the first tnmt game...for the first time. Thanks to the rewind feature. Lol!
True. Many people down voted this video and were mad that I posted it. Many justified it by saying that the online would be fixed, but it has not been fixed. It stinks. I think that the people who are posting about how they didn’t buy the games to play online are missing the point. This post/review is not about your own preference towards online playing. It is 100% about a feature of the game that is frankly in a piss-poor condition. This is made even worse by the comparatively stable online experience when playing shredders revenge. There are no valid reasons/excuses to put out a online experience that is so far off the mark. It would have been a much better look not to offer online options at all then to offer it in such an unstable fashion. They need to address this and fix it, end of story.
any tricks on how to beat the Genesis version of the tournament fighter on the highest difficulty? I hear is the obj way to get the trophy and achievement
Me and my friend finished the arcade ports online on the switch and ran smooth. I would assume if there is more than 2 players it may stutter. Hopefully they work on a patch soon to fix the issue. Offline it's awesome
As a single player person and a fan of TMNT this is right up my alley. I barley do online so it's not a problem for me. Also I thought they have a feature that enables stability when having a lot of things going on the screen?
Okay your comment is valid the online feature does suck but this game only came out a couple days ago and yes it would have been better if they fixed this problem before it came out but hopefully and I'm sure that they will fix this in the patch or something eventually but that's also really no reason not to buy the collection. It's fine for me I have no problem with it at least when you invite when you play with only two players even online and like I said hopefully they'll patch it in the future I'm sure they will. Especially if there is a lot of demand for it

If this is the case with the game's mechanism, I'm glad you covered this, for I was about to get it (Which I'd still get for nostalgic reasons). The only multiplayer worth playing in this series of games is the old-fashioned way.
I had a thing happen whentrying to play Hyperstone Heist. (This is on Switch BTW) someone connected to my game, and the game audio and main menu music started playing at the same time. Didn't fix itself, even after transitioning to the next scene. I'm with you. Massive turtles fan, especially the original 80s cartoon, but I kinda' wish I waited for a sale.
I wasn’t buying it to play online but if it has achievements and trophies to beat the game online well I might just play online then you don’t really need help beating this game alone in a solo game it’s not very hard the only reason I play online is for achievements and trophies I can just play every game solo either resident evil or any other games
I believe a majority of people that bought this collection bought it to play single or local multiplayer or to just earn achievements. The online is just a side feature I suppose since only four games support it. I merely bought it to have all 13 games to play on the go.
Oh hell yeah!! you're absolutely right. I'm happy saying that I'm about to play a Turtles game for the very first time(the Game Boy games). As well I never thought I would see a very smooth edition of the NES games. It's a subtle touch, but the slowdown/flicker removal is really clutch.

The slowdown is very bad. It’s worse than double dragon 1 arcade lol I played the original turtles a few times but it’s been 50-50 with how smoothly it operates. I joined in on a two player game in progress and the gameplay was fine but then a fourth player joined and the game became unplayable. It’s concerning but at least it’s better than arcade 1up.
the main reason why I got this game is because I never got to play this on my NES in my NES had problems and I miss playing games like this from the '90s the 90s was the best and they had some good old school video games this is why I got this and I'm going to keep it for my collection but what I don't understand is why is the game lagging when multiple people are joining

People not buying because the online doesn't work well are obviously not the game's intended target, and should never be, ever. These games were never meant to be played this way since conception and the online is merely a novelty for today's times... But still that doesn't excuse the bad netcode! 🤣
That’s a you problem. There’s more to this then just online ability. At least they incorporated in. The big appeal is the modern accessibility way to play all these games. And all but one have never been rereleased.
ehhh that doesn't excuse the online being bad tho. If you buy a product, all of it should be functional. I admit, when I get it, it's mostly for offline, but even then I would hope online works. I don't want another Scott Pilgrim where I can't even play it online should I not be able to get to a friend's.
Since buying this game I’ve been WAITING for a review that finally stated how awful the online play is. I wish I’d waited for a sale. MAYBE they’ll fix it???

I'm glad the turtles are getting more time in the spotlight.. definitely my favorite cartoon , toys and video games from my childhood.. with the release of shredders revenge and this release we got the best collection of retro games ever created in my opinion and I had to throw shredders revenge in because it obviously uses the old catalog as inspiration and has to be seen as a spiritual successor in the series.. sad they couldn't add the turtles in time re-shelled Remake from the xbox 360 to really give every version possible but it's really hard to complain with the content provided this year.. Hopefully the castlevania collections and the turtle collections will spark a ! Over the head of some vp or ceo at Konami to give us a definitive Metal Gear collection Bigger than the xbox 360 and ps3 versions
I don't think anyone bought this game for the online feature. I certainly didn't. There's a good chance I'll NEVER touch the online mode. These games weren't MEANT to be played online.

There’s a major glitch on the tmnt original arcade game at least on mine it is. On the third level when you fight Baxter Stockman and the mousers in the sewer where it’s difficult to hit him and it stutters a lot and then all of a sudden you beat him without really getting a hit on him. It’s weird and annoying 🤦🏾♂️
The online worked when all the users are in a close location. I had a game with 3 UK players with minimal lag. But having random players was a problem. So assuming your only connecting to US players, the distance might be causing the problem.
Even without a online multiplayer this collection will be a piece of history and in future hard copy will be near imposible to find so for me is a mandatory buy this a dreamer collection come true tks konami and nickelodeon to make this posible

I played almost all of the games except the Gameboy games. I do plan on trying them out though. I will say Turtles in Time is the best game on the collection. I hope that helps.
Overall I'd say it's more worth it than not, but that doesn't excuse part of the product not being functional. They need to fix that. it's like fighting games with delay-based netcode... sure the games are usually really good, but what's the point if they don't work. now in this case, that's not nearly as important as it would be for a fighting game. BUT, I'm spending my money, I want all of what I'm purchasing to be functional. As long as it's eventually fixed, I don't see this being a deal breaker tho in most cases.
They probably gonna fix that issue. My minor issues i have are: No sprite flicker options on the gameboy games, No screen crop option so you can get rid of the glitched up scroll effects in the Nes games. I hoped that the gallery included clean box artwork too (art without logo's and shit) And also the tournament fighters art would be cool

I bought this for the nostalgia not the online. Nobody is covering the online because we are retro gamers. 80's and 90's kids. It is worth $40. If you were to buy all these games separately you would pay well over $40. This is an amazing collection all bundled into one. If your only hang up is the online then that is truly sad. Most of the people that bought this probably couldn't give two shits if the online works or not. Get some real friends and play couch co-op like these were meant to be played. Peace. ✌️
Agreed. The Nostalgia is the main (If not sole) reason why I wanted to get this game. The only multiplayer worthwhile here is the old-fashioned way.

Completely agree, was watching some live streams on gameplay last night and the 4 player co-op online was trash, unplayable, although 2 player co-op seemed just fine. Nobody tried Tournament Fighters online. I also really want to play Tournament Fighters online. And although many will buy this for single player only, you are absolutely right, we can access these games for free or wait for a sale anytime, those that want to experience it in a brand new way, with online play, are going to be disappointed. @@tonyrosario1940 I own the Switch version of this collection and had play Tournament Fighters online for quite a while, so far I only had one match lag on me, the rest was quite good. It could just be bad internet connection on some of the users.
The collection is probably the best in terms of being feature rich and their awesome U.I. Emulation of the games are also excellent quality; but you are 200% right about the online. I also wish they added more (and better) screen filters as the ones at launch are pretty bare bines bad. I wish it had a bitmap smooth filter that looks like the filter used in the interactive video of the strategy guide section. Sonic Origins did a good job of recreating the games in appropriate wides screen without stretching the sprites; which I hope other collections do in the future.
I was very excited for this game but I lost much of my hype when I found out that the SNES version of Turtles in TIme won't be playable online for whatever dumb reason. That's one of my all time favorite games and I really wanted to talk a few friends into getting the game so we could play it and the rest of the arcade beat 'em ups together online but guess that won't be happening now.
Damn $40 is a rip off if you're online play isn't working properly.

I played tournament fighters with a buddy online and he was using Wifi, and I was on LAN, on the Nintendo version lol, and or connection was decent. You can also adjust the lag settings in the options , just mentioning it since you never mentioned it in the video. This was great purchase for me.
I love the TMNT from the 80s and 90s heck even love the next mutation that people hated, love the movies love the 2003 series, the 2007 movie the 2012 series oh yeah hated that thing rise of the tmnt, love the live action movies let's avoid talking about the Bay crap, I have a large collection of figures vintage and some from the NECA series, love the games from the Arcades, NES SNES man I just love to play those, the online I just don't care about I have friends that can play at home and I have my kids thar love to play it so I am a TMNT Fan just like a lot of the guys in the comments we are Fans good sir but we appreciate your point of view and hope you get your money back cheers.
I just came across this channel. I will give my 2 cents. If all people care is online then they don’t Appreciate this nostalgia. Your getting a lot of classic tmnt games. So why am I going to harp on this game? Why because online is working for some people? Online doesn’t mean much to me. Lag can happen to any game or any play session. Not everyone has a good connection.
What about couch co-op? Plz tell me it is in this game... I wanted to get it on the Switch to play with the whole family. Any answers are appreciated 👍

I noticed this too when I cracked open the game. The online play was trash but I thought maybe it was my internet connection. It's not a deal breaker for me but I feel like they tried to camouflage the online play that they knew would be horrible with all the extra content that you wouldn't normally expect. Hopefully they fix the online play with a patch soon.

The Only reason to buy something like this is for online-multiplayer - presentation and ease of access is nice, but for $40? Get this on super sale at least (maybe they'll fix the online by then!)
Well this sucks. I was hoping to play online with friends. I was thinking about buying Hyperstone Heist and Turtles In Time, but this was way cheaper. I still feel like this was a awesome pickup. My friends can't afford it right now, so I am going to probably play it offline and maybe local multi-player at my friends house.
Can you even do 2 player in TMNT II and Manhattan Project in this collection? My roommate and I were having a headache trying to figure it out. Also, even though the back of the box says a single pair of joy cons can be split between two players, it doesn't seem to actually be implemented in the game.
I know for online play, those two NES games are not available. You should be able to play it with local co op though
@@Gamingwithgleez Just figured out our issue. Each player has to play with a pro controller or 2 joy cons, the game doesn't allow the usual sideways joy-con feature for co-op (despite being listed in the controller support section on the back of the box)

Well that's a non issue for me I would've bought this collection if it only had the 2 arcade games the fact it comes with everything it does I'd feel bad if I didnt order the collectors edition which honestly isn't probably worth it but I wanted to support this release as I'd been wanting these games ever since missing out on them when they were on the wiishop
I feel like a big reason why these kind of games lag so bad online (sometimes) is because there are probably kids playing it that don't understand how bandwidth works and then download and stream and upload a billion things at once while playing the game...
Online would only be as good as the people you’re connected to. All the games except Tournament Fighters are delay based netcode, and that’s probably due to not being able to get rollback going decently enough with more than 2 people at once. I’ve seen Capcom’s Beat Em Up Bundle struggle with this beyond two people too and that was entirely GGPO.
Exactly! Also actual online netcode is NOT cheap to develop. And Digital Eclipse is known to be a low-bidder. Can't expect them to write netcode for these ROMs.

There is a section on the main menu that says "Online" click that. Then you can choose from the online games. You don't need parsec for it at all. If you have any questions just let me know
yeah they need to fix this asap!! Hyperstone heist is the only one that is ok online and that not saying much. the other games if more than two players join it unplayable. I read that putting frame delay at 7 or 8 help a little though.

The ONLY downside to this game I've found is that when you play the two arcade games, you can't pick a different turtle when you get a game over.
I got the game on sale for $30 instead of the original price and to be honest I haven’t had a single issue with it…been playing for the passed 4 or 5 hours reliving my childhood and not one problem…not sure if it’s on your end or what but not having any trouble..even online but hope all works out for you!
Too late already bought it. I enjoy the game, yes the online is crap but other than that it's all good. I finally beat the first tnmt game...for the first time. Thanks to the rewind feature. Lol!

I finally played it today and right off the bat the singing for the intro theme was not the original that I remember. But still liked the game.
If you are on PC you may have to play it via parsec if that is the case for it to work. Hopefully Digital Eclipse will fix the netcode

Where did you hear about that? I don't see anything on Konami or Digital Eclipse Twitter and couldn't find an article about it.
I think that the people who are posting about how they didn’t buy the games to play online are missing the point. This post/review is not about your own preference towards online playing. It is 100% about a feature of the game that is frankly in a piss-poor condition. This is made even worse by the comparatively stable online experience when playing shredders revenge. There are no valid reasons/excuses to put out a online experience that is so far off the mark. It would have been a much better look not to offer online options at all then to offer it in such an unstable fashion. They need to address this and fix it, end of story.

Try to abuse the rewind feature as much as you can.
Me and my friend finished the arcade ports online on the switch and ran smooth. I would assume if there is more than 2 players it may stutter. Hopefully they work on a patch soon to fix the issue. Offline it's awesome

As a single player person and a fan of TMNT this is right up my alley. I barley do online so it's not a problem for me. Also I thought they have a feature that enables stability when having a lot of things going on the screen?

Okay your comment is valid the online feature does suck but this game only came out a couple days ago and yes it would have been better if they fixed this problem before it came out but hopefully and I'm sure that they will fix this in the patch or something eventually but that's also really no reason not to buy the collection. It's fine for me I have no problem with it at least when you invite when you play with only two players even online and like I said hopefully they'll patch it in the future I'm sure they will. Especially if there is a lot of demand for it

hopefully the online issue gets fixed but its a great collection made with passion so hopefully it gets fixed in the mean time those that want to play online with their buddies just invite them around and take turns jamming it out like the old days order a ton of pizza and cowabunga dudes
All these were meant for solo or local co op originally. That is they way us old schoolers will still play it.
If this is the case with the game's mechanism, I'm glad you covered this, for I was about to get it (Which I'd still get for nostalgic reasons). The only multiplayer worth playing in this series of games is the old-fashioned way.
I had a thing happen whentrying to play Hyperstone Heist. (This is on Switch BTW) someone connected to my game, and the game audio and main menu music started playing at the same time. Didn't fix itself, even after transitioning to the next scene.

I wasn’t buying it to play online but if it has achievements and trophies to beat the game online well I might just play online then you don’t really need help beating this game alone in a solo game it’s not very hard the only reason I play online is for achievements and trophies I can just play every game solo either resident evil or any other games
I believe a majority of people that bought this collection bought it to play single or local multiplayer or to just earn achievements. The online is just a side feature I suppose since only four games support it. I merely bought it to have all 13 games to play on the go.
Oh hell yeah!! you're absolutely right. I'm happy saying that I'm about to play a Turtles game for the very first time(the Game Boy games). As well I never thought I would see a very smooth edition of the NES games. It's a subtle touch, but the slowdown/flicker removal is really clutch.

The slowdown is very bad. It’s worse than double dragon 1 arcade lol I played the original turtles a few times but it’s been 50-50 with how smoothly it operates. I joined in on a two player game in progress and the gameplay was fine but then a fourth player joined and the game became unplayable. It’s concerning but at least it’s better than arcade 1up.
the main reason why I got this game is because I never got to play this on my NES in my NES had problems and I miss playing games like this from the '90s the 90s was the best and they had some good old school video games this is why I got this and I'm going to keep it for my collection but what I don't understand is why is the game lagging when multiple people are joining
