If you've never been here before, my name is Tara, and I live in Singapore, a small island about one degree north of the equator. If you've been here before, welcome back!
I would like to share my renovation journey with you. With a clear vision of what I want, I chose not to engage an interior designer, since it helps me save some money. Furthermore, it is easy to find design inspiration everywhere nowadays. TH-cam and Pinterest were my sources.
The following is how I used the Home Renovation Budget Tracker, a Gantt Chart, and a Mood Board to plan, budget, and research the renovation of a HDB BTO 2-room unit.
1) Home Renovation Budget Tracker: A renovation requirements list was created to determine the budget.
2) Home Renovation Project Gantt Chart: A Gantt chart can help keep track of the deadlines.
3) Mood Board: It is a visual tool for communicating ideas and concepts with your ID or renovation contractor.

Congratulation! I also took my SK bto key on 10th Jul. My flooring done by hdb. Can you remember is there any existing on/off button for all the lightings? I forget to notice it until trying to get my lightings. 😂 Now the building team rectify the defects so need to wait it finish to visit my flat again.

Thank you for your support. I didn't hire any ID. I engaged a renovation contractor.
Can help to advise how to determine if the contractor is reputable?
