I think you meant arrogant.... tis like he has encountered lots of customers which he didn't like in the past that he has become quite defensive in his attitude. However, being in the service line, it is better to adopt the attitude that both need each other just as much... Notice I didn't say the customer is always right....

I really like the video. It's honest and straightforward showing the perspective of the SHOP OWNER, which are things customers would never even have thought of. He is also from a younger generation (Quite rare these days especially in a cai fan store) which makes the information he provides more relatable to our current generation as well.
There was this comment that says he is manipulative, bruh.. It's a business dude, everyone is somewhat "manipulative" when they want to earn money, it's their livelihood leh wth? And it's a legitimate food store, not scamming anyone. He earns money, and people gets fed. Great video! I hope your store flourishes, peace out!

@@gnparticle Because it's free to be nice. People will be return customers if you're nice to them. It's better to have a repeat customer you constantly profit from rather than making a larger profit on a one off customer.

Actually, this boss is quite humble and friendly in person. He can take hardship, it is really tough to be in food business. I respect him to be able take hardships.
My Cai fan hack is when they are scooping your chosen dishes, try not to talk to them or distract them, else your 2 scoops can be one scoop if you interrupt them scooping their chosen dish. They can be distracted easily and May forget that extra scoop… Trust me

vegetable, if with minced meat (especially those steamed egg with minced meat toppings) it is charged as meat price.
I always feel stress when ordering my Cai fun, cos too many choices and all are equally good, don’t know which one to order, worry later regret
