Two weeks ago, when I was ordering cai fan at a coffee shop near my friend's house, my total came to be $8.20 (for two boxes- one for me, and one for my friend). I gave the cai fan uncle $10 and expected coins back but he gave me $2 back and my brain glitched and I stared at him, bewildered. "It's $8.20. I charge you $8...." Ohhh, I said. Then I was so paiseh, I don't even know whether I said "thank you".
I cannot show my face there again. Am very sad.
