    HI have a great suggestion.
Those who are working there, or who will go there after watching this, what would be best is to pay it forward. if your meal cost $2.50, give them $5 to keep the change. that helps them sustain this stall and u still can able to get a $5 lunch which is still not so bad ah.
Bless them and good rewards and fortune and abundance will come your way too

I fully agree, as that has been my experience as well, despite hearing so many negative things beforehand. Moreover, as a woman, I have been treated with a level respect, empathy and kindness by Muslims that I haven't frankly witnessed in my own community. What I found most touching though is their dedication to their faith, as well as the breadth and depth of their generosity, which as I observed surpassed the material and monetary interpretation and practice I've witnessed in my community, and encompassed emotional and spiritual generosity. Yes, I came across some "bad apples", but my overall experience has been heartwarming, humbling and transformative. I never dared to say this publicly or say it out-loud to anyone before out of fear of being rebuked or labeled by my community or by those with links to it. However, I feel these days increasingly obligated to share my experience given the wide scale of oppression and defamation directed towards those absolutely beautiful people and their amazing faith.

I would say actually speak to Muslims and see if the narrative you are fed in your media is the same as what you observe of their conduct and manners .

That's the problem with Singapore, it is an influential country, not a genuinely kind hearted country. Not everyone is willing to do this because the saying goes "Why care about others? They don't pay your rent" is normalized here in Singapore. Obviously the Government doesn't care nor do the elites care.
You're free to look around central and south of Singapore and you will find many TikTok influencers there. For this lady, she does not need a phone application to be a good influencer. Let her be a good example of what Singapore used to be, a proud Singapore. Nowadays its all about money.

not really rare if you are in the right healthy & thriving practicing muslim community. you’ll find even more shocking ones; these amazing people are competing in their race towards God’s highest favor. but indeed, it is always heart-wrenching to actually witness one with our own eyes like this video.
In Islam, the definition of ‘best among humankind’ is:
"The best of humans are those who are the most beneficial to others." [role model, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him].
This hadith (narration) is in line with the words of Allah in Al-Quran (Surah Al-Isra: verse 07):
"If you do good, you are actually doing good for yourself."
All these and this woman reminds me of numerous Psychologists’ research papers on Altruism that I’ve read before. On how doing good to others are actually doing good to oneself in so many ways including psychologically, physiologically, mentally, and more. Great video to kickstart a deep introspections on personal journey in one’s own life so far…really make one aspires to be as great as her and doing more for others (esp in current times).
      Sorry for the sudden essay.

A message for Hani - you would make an excellent community psychologist. Hope you will be able to get the qualifications and serve at an even deeper level.
Again, an NGO or a philanthropist should help her. Very strange how we support nonsense TikTokers but never people on the ground. Even corporations like TH-cam paying money for stupid content but not for higher education of someone like Hani.

This is what it means to be a "customer-centric" business. From what I can tell, they earn and sustain their business through the quantity of plates/food sold so simply buying food from them (and maybe letting them keep the change, if you can afford to) will be the way we can support their social enterprise.

A Malaysian here. Terima kasih kak, emak akak, ayah akak. Semoga panjang umur. Diberikan kesihatan, kesembuhan, kekuatan utk terus berjasa. Walaupun tak seberapa pulangan yg dapat. Tp ganjaran yg besar menanti akk sekeluarga. Ikhlaskan segalanya. Teruskan the good business.

Salam from London. Proud of you and parents sacrificing. I read somewhere in Europe that you pay as what you afford. Hence it is fair that those who afford should pay more instead exploiting your goals. I will definitely pay double or more if I stop over in Singapore again.

These poor neighborhood flats and hawker centre look pristine by malaysian standard. Kudos to Ms Hani and her parents for their menu rahmah.
