There's so many awesome bars, cafés and clubs in Mile-End, Montreal, the hard part is knowing where to go. I hope this list can help anyone trying to make their most out of their visit here!
This is such a charming city, I hope I can visit again sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Absolutely outstanding video. I've lived all around the world...last 3 years in Toronto. Finally moving home for good. This video makes me wanna rediscover my hometown. Great stuff!
St-Viateur ou Fairmount !!! Hmmmm ....
Thank you Here in Guelph Ontario ( not from here id love to move to Montreal lol , from Toronto my sister has a vacation condo in old Montreal on Saint-Paul street west just a stunning area ) we have these boxes, mostly people build them and post them outside their homes with books being placed in them the most. A few times a year we also have weekends where you can put your non needed belongings on the curb and people can take them home. :). We are a very green town In fact the Green Party was recently voted into power here :). I Love to see such activities happening, people care and want to recycle and give. I loved your video. Keep up the great work
You forgot to mention that people throughout Mile-End have the similar sculptures in their front yards as in the Twilight Garden. I would of mentioned the Dragon Flowers since the Asian woman is known for hanging many bird cages down from the apartments above in front of her store. Not to mention all the murals/street art we have throughout the area as well. Also... St-Viateur bagel all the way! 😂
Yeah Tammy is an awesome lady and definitely an icon of the neighbourhood! We should have included her. Glenn LeMusurier's sculptures can be discovered by taking a stroll through the neighbourhood. Thanks for the feedback!
Small aorld having coffee near the bagel place you recommend and saw you walk by with a group of people. They looked like they were having fun even with rain and winds today. Thanks for this video. Helped a couple tourists from Alaska.
Hey! You're absolutely right. I love Social Club and many other places that we didn't include in the video. It'll definitely be in "Best Cafés in Montreal". Thanks for the feedback!
Montrealers call; Gelatto.. Ice Cream! which is like calling Caviar fish eggs! Great thing is the price of gelatto is the same as the price of icecream in the states !
St. Viateur bagels - hands-down + Add Ripples Ice cream; 5554 Jeanne Mance St cross ST. Viateur; innovative flavours always super fresh and stupendous service

Living in the Mile End and it's such a beautiful living neighborhood.
Outstanding video!!
Don't. forget Falafel Yoni! After one bite, you will be as happy as the boy on their wall. (I just bought their baseball cap with that smiling face.)
Great! There was a library that had some nice activities... Bibliothèque Mild End...
Très enrichissant comme vidéo ! Belle job mon ami !

Vous avez oublié un pilier du Mile-End: Le YMCA avec sa merveilleuse piscine et son bain vapeur. Pour un quartier en forme...
Wats up with the videos man ! I dont see anymore of that great content !
Anyone - where exactly IS Mile End. Am planning a trip this fall 2024 & don't want to miss!
Arcade Fire? Never heard of 'em?
2022 update:
Arts cafe is closed now
And cafe social is another institution 😉
For bar/club category: checkout Nouvel Établissement 👌🏼

where are the youngsters and the elderly? is Montreal mostly folks 20-40 y/o? or just the Mile High neighborhood?
Question: If I moved to montreal do I need to be fluent in french??
SRW 96 no not really,
Tout le monde sait que les meilleurs bagels sont chez Fairmount. La vraie question c'est: Club Social ou Olympico?
Il semblerait qu'on ne sait plus parler français en Mile-end!
Bien dit
Ça jamais été un vrai quartier francophone
