The distance is the only problem. From home to back in 18 days we did 2200 miles. Having said that, we can't wait to go back. All the best for the new year.
Aye, it's more than we like to pay but is on a par with a lot of campsites price wise. We much prefer wild camping, and didn't use many sites on this trip so decided it was worth it. Facilities were top notch as well so we didn't feel too ripped off. Also, they didn't charge for dogs which a lot of sites do these days. All the best for 2019 x

A great campsite. £17 a night with no hookups sounds expensive to me. That said you gave it 10/10 so l guess this is the bees knees of campsites.
