Wildfire Camping came up at the top of the list for England campsites for 2023 in a Time Out online article...so we had to visit

We decided to visit the campsite after reading the article, and after contacting the site we were kindly invited after telling them that we will be staying, and publishing our unbiased opinion about our stay.
We have been travelling full time in our luton camper van conversion for (and previously a Ford Transit), doing full time van life for almost two years in the UK.

Definitely spacious , which is what so many camp / caravan / Motorhome places don’t do , It is often everybody squeezed in , charged a fortune, noisy neighbours , footballs , and over loud music. It is just nice to free park and appreciate the countryside of where ever you are !!

This is how camping used to be, uncrowded and peaceful! What a beautiful site.
Sadly some campsites are so crowded that it’s almost impossible to walk between the tents without tripping over the crisscrossed guy lines.

I went glamping in North Yorkshire 2 weeks ago with my dog and a friend and her 5 year old. It was unbelievable. So rustic and natural. The walks were incredible. A gift hamper of local produce and sales from a road side stand. We saw all manner of wild life such as fox and deer. Totally incredible and relaxing. Wood stove as early May still has chilly nights. The glamping wagon was so eclectic and comfortable. We were fortunate to be the only people on a 5 (pod) accommodation farm for the first night.
I'm looking forward to whatever the summer brings xx

The food set up at this place looks worth staying, and paying, for and the atmosphere that eating together as a group brings really comes across in your video.
I also don’t stay at campsites often but my favourite campsite, one that I will pay to stay at even though there are free park up options not far away, is at Shell Island in Wales. The scenery there is stunning, you can see the mountains of Snowdonia over the sea and there are stunning beaches full of shells which gives the place its name. Likewise it is actually a tidal island which is cut off from the mainland a couple of times a day with the high tide covering the road. You can also park up wherever you like (just not too close to anyone not in your group) with no specified pitches, and there are little beach areas, cliff tops, sand dune areas etc so you’ve got a choice of pretty spots. There are little shops and a cafe on the site and a marina where you can wander around and look at the boats there too. If you’re ever in that area again I recommend staying there.
But not in school holidays, used to be a 50ft pitch separation, its not respected.

Oh wow, I was in Arundel staying in Betsey Blue & her crew of Two, two days ago camping by the river and walked around the lake. Same here never stayed before, will be back!

Now that's my kind of campsite! The 'protected from light' factor would be huge for me as star gazing is one of the things I love the most about outdoor living. What a fantastic place. Cheers for sharing.

A lovely chilled video. The campsite is near to where our friends stay. We visited Arundel many years ago and loved it. The castle made me instantly think of King Arthur when I first saw it and I could imagine him living there. Have a fabulous week xx ❤

Looks like a beautiful place and the wood fire cooked veg looked fantastic. Great to see you back in Morgan!! We are going to have to try out the seafront park up in Seaford. Great campsite you stayed at too in the beautiful Sussex countryside. Really love the fact you visited the wonderful Arundel which is just half hour from where we live, in fact Arundel was the first place we wild parked. All the best guys ! 👍🌱❤️

I was born in Brighton and still have an uncle who still lives there i lived in bognor used to visted Chichester quite a bit and arundel lovely as well miss the south coast happy memories 😊

Well Morgan + 2 you found a gem of a campsite here...lots of space & not a lot of people..PERFECT!!!!😊 gotta say them bloody camping chairs looked awkward to assemble i would still be trying to put the damn thing together when it was time to go back indoors 😂😂 very welcoming place & run by polite & friendly staff just what you need! The editing again is top notch so fair play Janine ❤🎉

Reminds me of when I was in the boys bridgade when I was ten years of age I met my best friend and we are still friends now I later joined army cadets going on various camps and stil camping years later there are some fantastic camper sites in great Britain
Never been camping myself but that place looks lovely. Nice to see they had vegan/vegetarian food options, and really liked the vibe of the place, especially the fact that it seemed peacefully quiet. Arundel is lovely, someone took me there once, back in the 90s, the castle is stunning.

Arundel treat shops..yummy. The lake is beautiful. What a perfect day there. Oh, the contrast between Pete and Morgan or India and now the UK is truly different. Do miss your interaction with the people in India with their welcoming hospitality in every situation that you encountered. From tough breakdowns to perfect invites to homes. Although I have never been to India, there is a part of missing your travels there. That campground is huge but the water is from under the ground and is all drinkable. The cook station with the fire pits and all the other areas such as the bar area. The outdoor kitchen is the coolest and then the shower.
I enjoyed your overseas travels, but I really love these UK-based videos - with places I too am likely to visit.
In this case, you are visiting my own local options.
I need to get out more, having stayed home so much during Covid.

Hi, looks great, back to nature with the much needed ablutions, the food looked great and wholesome, but you did not mention the price of either the food or the stay, I guess it is charged per head, camps prices seem to be going up, and the thought of wild camping becomes more attractive, but the areas where you can, seem to be getting more difficult to find. Its a shame the UK don't look at it the same way they do on the continent. anyway, you both stay safe and well and I will await your next vlog. cheers

Omg, I haven't watched you guys since you came home from India. Seeing Janine back in her snuggly pink coat looking freezing makes me sad. Having been born and bred in the UK I have lived in Oz for over 30 years. I'm still a proud Londoner and frequently homesick. But I loathe the cold and know without doubt that I couldn't handle a British winter/spring. On a lighter note, Morgan looks fab. 😂
