- The Mustang vs Camaro has been a battle since the late 60’s and some of the best generations are the 4th gen LS Fbody (98-02) and the New Edge Mach 1 (03-04).
02 Z28 Camaro is close to stock with an air lid, basic tune and a catback with 3.23 gears and an automatic.
04 Mustang Mach 1 is also close to stock with auto, basic tune, 3.73 rear, k&n and Borla Catback.
Both cars low miles and in great shape with no issues. This is about as close as a race we can get to when these cars came out in the early 2000’s

I just sold a 02 SS Camaro a few months ago that was a super clean car and bought a 03 Azure blue Mach 1 that has 12k miles on it. I really like this generation of cars as this is what was out when I was first getting into cars.

Im with you on that. I was in high school when they were new so I liked them and I even had an SRT4 not long ago to add to the collection but i sold it off after I bought my Marauder for our family car. Want to try them all

I feel like a 5 speed mach 1 would’ve did the job it was auto on auto crime tho and the z28 was definitely pulling strong. try my 03 mach 5 speed 4.10 gears with a driver I’m in Gainesville looking for FBody smoke

He was spinning and let out of it and nailed it again.
@@lsx_doc maybe he had a better tune. Actual stock vs stock, no mods, and automatic on both, they’re pretty dead even.
