I love that I see this dude literally everywhere bro. Me and you, Mustacheless man, we are both men of culture.
Two things I realized watching their video:
- First, the song switches from a 4/4 during verses to a 3/4 in the pre-chorus and chorus so smoothly it's barely noticeable.
- Second, Lukas rarely opens his eyes in this video. In ANY of their videos actually. He's camera shy guy I guess.
VoM love a 3/4 chorus, they do it almost as often as they do a quiet break with vocals an octave lower before the second chorus.

The riffage in this song is absolutely amazing. Well put together song, easily top 3 my favorite songs ever in my 32 years of living. Gives me major chills every time time I listen🖤🖤🖤🖤
That song is so fucking good man. It chaps my ass that I missed seeing them live by an hour. The guitar work at one point sounds like a revision of Fracture as well. These guys are just incredible, and I can't wait to hear more.
Also that ending 12 second scream is brutal as hell
First concert I ever went to was Veil of Maya, A Ghost Inside, Carnifex, and Whitechapel. That day a metalhead was born 😂

dude those big choruses with the cleans literally pulls on my heart strings every time i hear something like that.
Coming back to this reaction, and this is definitely one of my favorites of the year so far.
I’m just so stoked for this album, outsider/members only are just so goddamn good. Like I love the darker eerie kinda thing they are going for. It was what hooked me into False Idol, and I’m really glad to see that motif come back!

Props to giving bass props on VoM. When you see them live the bassist is having an eargasm and he enjoys every second of it. These guys do not take their success for granted at all, they worked hard for it and they enjoy the fans. Thanks Nik, you’re epic bro in your song structure knowledge. VOM 🤘🏽🎸 such a full sound on every level. So many levels and layers plus the vocals and transitions. Tone is king overall in any band. That’s bottom line if it’s enjoyable to vibe
