That was one of the weirdest songs I've heard in a long time... Parkway Drive intro, The Trooper solo, 2 step pop chorus, BMTH vibes, djent djent djents, hint of electronicore, 2000's metal core harms... I can't even tell if I like it or not because I'm more confused right now.
I saw them play this live yesterday. They were playing all of their heavy stuff and then they hit us with a “this one isnt even out yet” Such a good song and his feet shuffling was definitely a formula for a good time
I definitely didn't expect a new VOM track but I really like this one! The other 3 singles are great as well and I'm hoping that they'll eventually make an album announcement, it's definitely been quite awhile since they released the last one. 🤘🏻

Just saw them live on this exact tour. While everyone did great and it was an amazing show. Veil honestly just takes it to a whole different level. Their shows have and always will be so flawless and great. DGD was smart to bring these gems with them.

Back in 2014/15 I went to a concert where VOM was playing and the singer had bronchitis. So they played their whole set just as an instrumental the and crowd sang all the songs. Awesome.

Take note that wacky song doesn’t mean bad song. This was unique but still great, VoM has so much talent and this was them flexing that talent and musicianship in different ways.
Listening to the song a few times then listening to the trooper its very similar. Not all in the same places but its basically a modern day trooper with different lyrics

why not! in other genres this is normal to sample or use old phrases. Keep in mind, the trooper is like almost 40 years old. It was super random and thats why it needed to be there haha
I think that the melody was so fun and catchy. The only issue I had was that they went soft and carried it through the prechorus and chorus in that lower octave. For the chorus it should’ve been sang higher and more belted.
