For you to know. Aqua Blaster just like it's description to put out fire, can flush the fire on the flaming frog reaverbot (idk reaverbot name). Also Shield Arm is used to create a protective field against projectile, doesn't work on explosion or piercings projectile (Sera first form explosive needle, the needle will just pierce through the shield)
Homing Missile still the best spec weapon we could use when maxed out, not as expensive as Shining Laser but easy to use, high damage, extremely high range and infinite use
I don’t, companies have shown that with recent releases that they’re gonna butcher the original product or micro transaction it to hell. I can’t think of any good remake recently besides ff7 which really isn’t a remake but a reimagining since it changed the core gameplay loop
Definitely would rate that as number 1 in both games. Even though the vacuum arm is technically more of a utility item and not a special weapon I always end up having it on more than any of the other weapons in the game. Just if I knew I needed a drill arm for this or a special weapon for that I'd swap out for a short time.
@@RenSako Tank controls aren't that bad, but everybody had SM64 to compare it to PS1 totally had the ability to do the same, they had analog sticks on PS1 controllers by the time of MML1's release, and they released a N64 port, so there was little reason for tank controls. I still never had an issue with it though because your main evasive maneuver was strafe and shoot, which tank controls handled well.
Blame the controller the whole game engine depended on the character's viewpoint and controlles Sony and nintendo both didn't use two analouge sticks the only game they could use as a refrence at that point was Tomb raider.
Compared to ML1, all weapons that are inherited from ML1 received massive improvement like effect, design, and performance. The most significant upgrades are Homing Missile and Blade Arm. They are very easy to use now compared to ML1. But the weapon that i love the most is Shining Laser. I think it has the best glowing effect and it received huge range boost compared to ML1.
its funny when you get to the shining laser, because previously all weapons needed more than 3 hits to die... you just merely grazed them with the laser, and *ded*
I remember just always using the first weapon because the upgrades in this game were so ridiculously expensive. I think they were trying to encourage you to pick and choose stats to upgrade instead of maxing stuff out to create a more personal experience, but it just discouraged me from trying anything different due to not wanting to sink money into more stuff I might not end up using. The PSP port apparently adjusted the prices down, but it never got released over here.
I tried out the Blade Arm and I cannot believe how kick-ass it is at max enhancement! You're also temporarily immune from damage when you use the weapon to charge forth to kill an enemy.
Theres also a cool glitch; If you pause the game during the jumping slash then replace it with your lifter arm, unpause you'll be l floating in the air!
I also have this, and I am grinding on Mirocs Golden Mirocs...just maxed out the Crusher Arm, I have at this game for absolutely months from January...auuugh feels like an eternity...
IIRC Drill Arm requires at least 2 pieces: One is in one of the boxes in the Sulphur Bottom's hangar (the area where the Flutter is in the large ship, after you finish the mission in Forbidden Island), and the other should be on one of the pots outside the Quiz Trio house, on the 1st key island (after you defeat Tron's crab robot).
It didn't sell as much as they wanted to. MML2 was late Gen, by the time it came out sony had released the PS2 and were focusing on selling PS2 software so it wasn't advertised as much. That's kinda why it's so hard finding physical copies of it for a decent price.
My opinion {EDITED} 1. Crusher: Just plain cool and overpowered, good to use against tough and slow enemies like the missile chicken and elephants. 2. Buster Canon: Good weapon, useful against far and strong enemies, but becomes useless once you have the hyper shell. 3. Hyper Shell: One of the best weapons in the game, good for taking down most bosses and packs of enemies. 4. Homing missile: Good and decent weapon, that's all. 5. Ground crawler: You're not gonna bother using it if you have the three weapons I mentioned above. However, it's cheap to fully upgrade and it's a good weapon to use in the beginning of the game and inside caverns. 6. Vacuum arm: really useful when you go to calinca ruins collecting money to invest on other weapons, worth upgrading, but once all your weapons are upgraded (at least the ones you want to upgrade) it becomes useless. 7. Reflector arm: Just plain useless, weaker than your buster and you absolutely won't bother using it in a cavern, because you want to aim on enemies, not on walls. 8. Shield arm: Useless. You need an offensive weapon, the best defense is avoiding the attacks. But I actually found a use for this piece of shit: believe it or not, it's good for boss fights, because the more they shoot you, it gives you the opportunity to blast them with the shield by releasing Δ button. 9. Blade arm: I love this weapon!!! Stylish, OP, fun to use, everything about this weapon is good! I use it not just to get money, but also because I like to use it! And so will you after getting it! 10. Shining Laser: Really OP, and by OP I mean both Overpowered and Overpriced, but it's worth upgrading it to full power, because that's the weapon you're gonna use against the final boss. 11. Machine gun arm: Not powerful, but useful in missions like the Nino Island protection against the bird bots. Not a bad weapon either, better than the reflector arm. 12. Spread buster: It is actually pretty good to use inside caverns! It's like a buster shotgun and it takes down the shield enemy with a single point blank shot! Not a bad weapon actually and it's cheap to upgrade! 13. Aqua blaster: You're gonna use it in the first mission and that's all. No power, no defense, nothing useful, it wasn't even necessary to keep it after the first mission. 14. Hunter seeker: Useful, cool and good when taking out many enemies. 15. Drill arm: Useful not just to drill walls, but also to defeat some bosses if fully upgraded, not a prime choice but it's good for point blank combat. 16. Lifter: Still better than Reflector arm, Shield arm and Aqua blaster, at least you can kill the shield enemy by throwing another shield enemy at him. It's also capable of throwing the dancing bitch onto an elephant.
Yea, but it’s a stationary fire weapon; great for slow targets or when you have some range on something; terrible for arena run fights where the enemy has superior mobility. Aka A little unwieldy in boss fights; however, at full power it can easily reck havoc on any number of foes. It is expensive to upgrade however.
Oh man, the Shining Laser and Blade Arm were both amazing. Laser was just overpowered beyond reason, especially because it could have unlimited energy. Blade Arm was just fun to use. Oddly enough, both are really hard to fully upgrade.

I'd say try to get all parts from Calinca and also fully explore the ruins where you are supposed to follow roll. Check all objects in the flutter like beds, cases, drawers, boxes, anything. You should be able to get the drill at least before the first major ruin.
Shining Laser even decades later is one of most ridiculously OP special weapons ever introduced into a Mega Man game. I remember it killing even the final boss of both games to a few seconds.
Yes. This one's pretty tricky. You can do it on Calbania Island's plain area and Saul Kada's main ruins with the Kevlar Ω armor, but Calbania is better. On Calbania, lure a small four-legged reaverbot up to the big hill with the blade arm glitch activated. Go next to the highest ledge on the hill and walk about an inch off of it. Time the reaverbot's dash attack and flinch left or right when it hits you in mid-air. If done correctly, it will be invincible; spinning and flying infinitely.

I think MML1 has vastly superior and cooler looking weapons. For instance, you could physically throw wall bouncing grenades, create an actual working energy shield that he physically holds, and the weapons asthetically fit Volnutt. The colors for the weapons and what they can do is boring in part2. The best weapons in this video are from MML1 btw.
nah after playing 2 you go back to 1 and wish you had a homing missile to blow off the shield guys shield. You could call the active buster the homing missile of 1 but you can't move while using it. 2 had much better gameplay, all that needed fixing was nino ruins which was fixed in the PsP port but never came to the west.

There are extentions to the glitch I can still share with you, if you want to know. :] One's kinda hard to do, though.
Does someone please know the name of this music?
I've searched everywhere but i've yet not found it...
Me too... It's some track in Calbania Island in the area of these two red Slider Reaverbots...
I've found it already, It's called Race.
I've never seen some of those weapons :O
Clear inspiration of Ratchet and Clank
