Could someone suggest either a website or a video for a complete newbie regarding how to set this up. I’m not even sure what kind of remote controller to buy. Any help is appreciated
Albert Kim thanks so much for the link!I really appreciate your response. However, unfortunately it’s not helping much as I have the fly woo baby nano and your example isn’t translating to the baby nano. I’m guessing that there are probably some super basic things you may be assuming I already know but I unfortunately i dont. I’m a a super newbie in this area of knowledge. I dont even know what the controller?? Is actually called. Is it called a radio, a flight controller, a remote ??? Maybe there’s a resource out there that’s like a “tell me like I’m 5” version” that goes step by step regarding the baby nano? Thanks again!
Dear Albert, what FPV drone do you recommend for a first FPV drone that is quiet, large enough to add a small camera, do tricks, and still under 250 grams ? Thank you !
None I can recommend as a first drone. Get something safe like a tiny whoop to learn on after you've been on the simulator at least a few weeks. Something like this Flywoo or other 65mm or 75mm whoop first. For a 2nd drone after you have mastered flying, I would get the Crux35. That can carry a GO2/Peanut and will be under 250g but in the hands of a beginner that can still hurt people. People think under 250g is "safe" but would you fly that into your face at full throttle? The damage would be quite severe. Stay safe... happy flying. 😎
@@heartpilotOB Those are usually called voltage regulators or boost regulators. I don't think I've ever heard of those being referred to as "boosters" before.
Hey Albert, does the ELRS 2.4G have better range, more reliable connectivity and penetration than the TBS CRSF version? Appreciate all you do for the FPV community.
Crossfire is 900mhz so in general that frequency has better penetration over 2.4ghz. Reliability is good for ELRS. Good enough for me to switch my gear from Crossfire to ELRS.
This looks like they took Caddx Ant Lite, changed the settings from awful to decent, desoldered the OSD plug and put their own sticker on it :D I wonder what would come up if you soldered Caddx OSD menu board and try to use it :D
It's nice to be able to see recordings of the flight during the review, although I do wonder how much of it can be seen if you view this on your phone.
so... did you have to build it? I dont mind electronics building but man I have no idea about how these components work and go together. What do you use for a charger?
You can buy one from the link in the description. If you have no idea what FPV is, you'll probably need to spend some time watching a lot of videos to learn all the ins and outs. There's a lot to learn. Start with this playlist... bit.ly/2NYJy01

Baby Nano flies for longer if you just want to cruise around and fly for as long as possible on one battery.
1s Baby Nano is 21.7g with 40mm props 1s iFlight Nazgul Nano is 26g with 35mm props and only 50mw vtx They have a 40mm version coming soon at 25.5g but same 50mW vtx.
If I were looking at both, the Baby Nano just seems more appealing based on the specs. This has a 250mW VTX which kills any 50mW VTX and it as ExpressLRS as an option so you can fly pretty far if you want to.
I guess you'll have to define "better". The Baby Nano is smaller. So that's better, right? Or the Nanohawk X has more power... that's better? The Baby Nano has a super long flight time. Is that better?
I've never flown the baby nazgul but this one is lighter, has longer flight time, looks better in terms of style, and has more power with the larger 40mm prop. It's also $30-$40 cheaper. So, just based on that information I would choose this over the Baby Nazgul.
