  • In this video I'll be doing an unboxing and review of the EcoFlow River 2 Pro and the 60 watt solar panel it came with. I bought this because I lose power a lot where I live and wanted a way to power a few of my devices, Fridge, Internet modem and WIFI router. Watch until the end to see my final thoughts on this battery generator unit!
    Thanks for watching!

Hello Jason, that is a useful kit!👍👍
I watched a video which showed one of those systems being used in a small motor home, the solar panels were attached to the roof and the folk were touring mainland Europe during the summer and Autumn and the system worked well until they came to the UK., where the weather was overcast.
According to some online research, it's possible to set up the solar panels inside where electric lights are on and the panels will work with artificial light and gradually charge the unit, I'm not certain how quickly that would work, but if the lights are on anyway it's worth a try. The closer the panels are to the light bulb increases the efficiency,

Hey Laurence yep I've seen people setup solar pannels on their vans and motor homes with good effect. Even some use these or larger batteries. I'll have to see if the panels and unit charge from lights as a test. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the channel! Wow that's a good long run time for your computer off this! I've 2 1350va I use for my internet modem and router and pc. That only give my pc 15 minutes though.. the wifi and modem 3 hours though. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

can i use 225W solar panel? will that 5W extra do any damage to my river 2 pro?

Hi there and welcome to the channel. I'd say it should be fine. The 60 watt that came with mine takes forever to charge it. Double check to be sure. Their website sells 160 watt. The devices pulls 800 to charge from the house outlet, so I can only assume that a 220 watt solar pannel should be no prob for it. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂

Nice. I was wondering what I’d have to get to power up an Nvidia 5090. 😬
