Great video on the installation. You do not add oil to the turret on a 6-speed transmission. The 5-speed trans has an isolated chamber for oil at the bottom is the shifter. When found maintenance, make sure is full of oil. 6-speed transmissions do not have an isolated chamber. Lubrication for the shifter comes from gear oil splashed up from below. When assembling a 6-speed gear lever, coat the end of the shifter in heavy grease. This makes shifts buttery smooth for years.
He, bud great video. I running this shifter since 2018 on my NA. Do you also experience weird metallic rattling noises. The volume increases with the rpms. Driving at 6k it's insane loud
i have herd about these issues but as my car isn't running yet i cant really comment on it. its something i know I'm just going to have to live with but i don't mind

I have an NA with the (genuinely great) OEM shift knob and it's never given me any trouble when removing it by hand
yeah i think mine was just dry, or its because its the six speed which uses two guide pins

What size what your wrench?? The one for the stopper bolts
it was a 10mm for main bolts and i think it was a 6 or seven for the stopper bolts

yes its all legit. you have to do an invoice first then once they are ready to ship they will ask you to pay

Quick question for anyone who has this shifter has anyone dealt with not being able to get into 5th an reverse after installation
as the car isn't running yet i cant really comment but with the car on axle stands its all working good
