TRD Sideskirts w/ Rocketbunny V1 kit FRS/BRZ/86

See a lot of people on IG try to run these sideskirts with the v1 kit without modifying them so I hope this helps everyone trying to run this setup!

I just added the olm 86 lip to my 86 and was thinking about getting the olm skirts to match but wanted to watch a video first. Glad to see it’s a good choice for a side skirt

Thanks Danny, this video came in clutch! I was literally deciding between the OLM & BaysonR. I see the side skirt is split into 2 parts. Do you think I would have to paint the bottom of the side skirt if I wanted to go for a 2 tone look? (Top is a color and bottom is a color) It looks like from your video that the bottom is a darker black color compared to the top portion of the side skirt

They’re actually both the same but yes it’s designed for a 2 tone! The top portion would be the color of your car while the bottom piece is left black. When my car was wrapped green I just decided to go all one color to make the car look lower 😅

if you had to do it all over again, would you go boosted first or widebody?

Hmm I always tell myself I should’ve stayed stockbody for a bit longer BUT from what I’ve heard from other owners who are boosted, Is that it’s not really worth it since you don’t get any crazyyy power gains 😬 I’d probably still be in the stance scene without a widebody. Regardless boost is still a future plan 🫣

3M 4991 or similar thickness only dont use the crap from autozone. If you need the weatherstripping it’s toyota part number 7687506020C0 for black. They also have gray and white under different part numbers.
Don’t waste your money using anything else other than whats above. I spent so much money testing different tapes and weatherstripping and this is as close to OEM fitment as I could get. Used on TRD SE side skirts.
