If you did the sideskirts over the front liner you had no cap at the backside.

There's a gap because u didn't put the rubber strip

Just some advice the rubber seal goes along the top edge of the side skirt before you put it on so water wont get between the sideskirt and the body of the car and ruin the 3m tape , otherwise nice and helpful video ! And btw are you from Sac? I saw another one of your vids and it looked like somewhere in norcal
