Super informative video Julian! I finally got the hang of Logical Reasoning on the LSAT and barely get any wrong during my practice. I just gotta slow down and get better accuracy on Reading Comprehension and then I can take my official test!
thanks for the helpful information - especially the tip on transferring. does your guide offer advice for people applying to law school after few (8+) years after undergrad with a low gpa but related work experience?
I am very late to this video but I am extremely curious. I already have a Master's Degree in Public Policy. My undergraduate performance was stellar, and my master's degree grades are quite good as well (admittedly, I struggled with some quantitative subjects, but would never trade this experience for anything else either). Is it still possible top pursue a JD degree in the US? I'm just wondering because I don't want to give up studying law. And because I don't want to redo my bachelor's degree my only option is to go to all the way to the US.
this is probably a stupid question, i know, but does Harvard Law School teach only about the laws of the U.S? Like, if I went to Harvard and then moved to Germany, would my education translate to other laws or would I have to educate myself all over again?
Another great video! One question, as an international student, would it be fine if I say intern at a government office in my country (India for me) instead of the White House? I have ways to get that done but was just wondering if that is a good soft. Thank you!
Thanks for this supportive video. As an international students, I had a bachelor's degree in English in my home country, and I finished my sophomore year at Law School in my home country(Togo, Africa) before coming to the US last summer. My goal is to pursue my study doing law, but they said I still have to do a bachelor's degree hear before taking the LAST text. I am just frustrated and lost in what to do again. What will be your advice for me please. In case I must do another undergrad what major can you suggest to me? Thanks
Hello, what did you major in? I have wanted to major in political science and computer science but am considering dropping my computer science major in favor of having a less crowded schedule so that my GPA is higher. However, I have also picked up that some of the top-tier law schools (including Harvard) expect more than just a really high GPA that would usually get you into other places, also expecting a rigorous course load as well.
I'm complete my BSc in computer Science engineering but now I'm want to practice law , study on it. How to start or can i apply for LLM in harvar university?
Can you send me the link, please? I wanna buy your Book wanna have to get into law school. I see it down here in the description below, but there's no Link to where I can Send you the money to get the book
hi i am student in Korea(south) do youthink admission works a bit differently for international students? as if gpa scores matter less compared to lsat.
Hello Julian, I am from India, planning to get into the best Law School in India this year, it’s name is NLSIU Bangalore. Can Indian Law graduates get into Harvard? I’m asking this because Indian laws are pretty different from American laws, but much more similar to British laws. Also, can I do masters in Economics after graduating in law from India? Sorry for any vague questions, if any.
I enrolled to this university, just to be like HARVEY SPECTER
Sure bud

Fr bro same dream ❤

Am I at a disadvantage because my school does not give A+?
LSAC will give you the A+ on their own style for weighing grades

What bachelor's degree did you complete?

I doubt it would. U.S has Common Law system while Germany has Civil Law system and both are very different.
international law graduated student, not sure - is 60 percent marks okay?

Yes of course! Just be transparent about what you did, and sell the prestige as best you can too.
@pranavangadi456 Fellow Indian here. Can I ask where you did undergrad from?

Did you finish your bachelors degree?? That should be sufficient for US law schools
@@julianinlaw yes I did. Please could you help me with the next steps. Redo another bachelor's again is really giving me anxiety.
Thoughts on applying without completing undergrad, dropout. Suppose someone has real world experience and a high LSAT.

Is being a student athlete a good soft or are there other ones that are as good or better?
Oh that's probably great. I'd say that's a hard plus since it's tough to be a student athlete/balance it with school. And fairly rare too

When to apply for HLS
Since I will be an international student, will they accept it if I work with a law firm in my own country before attending Harvard?

we didnt think you were from the north and if you were that would be a more interesting story itself.
I am going to be a 19 year old applicant what do you think my best approach is. Do take a gap year or does age help

Being from India myself studying in the US the test does not m3asure your knowledge simply your aptitude. Take the LSAT
@@Yuri-gi1gz Thanks for the suggestion. Can I ask which uni are you in and did you get into it as an undergrad?
I gave the SAT, got a 1390 and I did internships and community service and attended a pre college program for free at Brown University, that was it.
@@Yuri-gi1gz a 1390 is a pretty poor score if you are planning to go to a university of that caliber
@@mochiman1943 I mean it doesn't matter I am a junior in a decent uni so honestly idc if it's low or not lol
