I'm close to quitting, my real obstacle like most is probably not saving loads of savings so I'm contemplating budgeting and putting everything on the 0% credit card until I eventually find something... I am fearful of the debt if I don't manage to find something however all I know is I can't carry on like this anymore...

People in medical school feel similarly; med school teaches one how to think like a doctor rather than how to actually do the day to day practice. Which is why residency programs exist afterwards. Very interesting stuff here. Thank you.

I think it's a great idea but these shifty bliths on America even when we get something done it still goes on there's no police for politicians.just look at the NSA,once Snowden blew the whistle they were told to stand down to stop spying on all Americans and they said ok and went right back to doing it,that's just 1 example of why it's going to cost us many many many lives to water the tree of liberty I trust there won't be no racism after this next chapter. I was the most stressed, and the happiest I had ever been as a 1L while I was a university athlete. I was in two law school student orgs, went to a lot of visiting speakers, but everyday I had rowing at 6 am and 5 pm and needed to do all my work outside of those hours and class time. It was so rigorous, but being away from the law school bubble was incredible for mental health and productivity

I followed your advice as you laid it out and I got excellent grades and have so many options for summer positions. I completely agree with making your own outline. The two doctrinal classes that I made my own outline and memorized were the two classes that I did the best in. Thank you Julian!!

I am a lawyer with my own company. Fairly big clientele. Suits is fun, but oh boy. They should be disbarred about 3 times an episode.

I had a suicide attempt at the age of 25, but I survived, now I want to get into law. No health without mental health.

I know (young) attorneys get less sleep than they should, but I’d really recommend scheduling time for you to rest. You’re smart, and very helpful in these vids and I don’t want you to crash out. Thanks again 🤘🏼

does the country you did your undergrad in matter? im doing mine at UBC, im considering transferring to a t20 us school but it’s pretty hard since they usually tend to take in people from the same states. UBC is considered to be ivy level when it comes to rigour tho

Life tips: if you are hypersensitive you actually need different jobs often. 2) careers dont exist anymore, use that in your advantage. 3) therapy cannot heal toxic bosses 4) part time is much easier 5) dont stay a day longer in a place where you dont want to be 6) sunday dread is not normal 7) if you have a degree, you are not obliged to use it 8) even a few weeks at a bad job can ruin you 9) save and invest

This is true to an extent but different prgorams are going to introduce different strategies and explanations you really cant find elsewhere especially with consistency. I reccomend 7sage if you are on a budget. Its 1 dollar a year if you get the lsac fee waiver, and like 80 a mpnth if you dont.
