Outstanding!! Love the trick with the polyfibre, hairspray & flock. You make applying static grass look so easy. I clearly need more practice. Brilliant stuff.
Hi Lewis bloody marvellous mate, I liked the way you done the shrubs quick, easy, and affective. You teach without saying a word I just love the new layout, well done Lewis I do hope there is more to come .thank you.
Details! Details! Details! I just want my trains to run reliably without hours and hours of prep. You have a nice model railroad and inspirational videos.
Oh, so nice, Lewis! It is not that you put so much detail into your railway, but that the details you do use are so well placed. The natural flora and landforms flow together. The human detail is just what needs to be there for the era and area you model! Thanks for the treat!
good morning, When I saw your layout and the creativity in combination with the beautiful music, I was very moved, great what you have made, the peace that comes with it, GREAT!! Wil van den Hurk - Geldrop - Netherlands
Hi Lewis, when it comes to scenery, buildings etc you are one of the best modelers on TH-cam.....your trees are fantastic, everything has a look of realism about it...a huge thank you for creating a master piece. Cheers Greg
There are moments when I quite lose myself in your world. It seems more real than real and it is with a jolt I see the corner of a wall or a ten foot hand or a too smooth bit of something that hasn’t been weathered yet. It is so clever, creative and perfect. Chapeau!
I just learnt something new. That cool trick with the hairspray and foliage. The final result is brilliant. Even after 50 plus years in the hobby I'm still learning ( from experts such as your good self ) and think thats great. The hobby that just keeps on giving. And the new layout is looking superb by the way.
Lewis, amazing. It's like the Sunday before the final episode of "unforgotten" and you just want more & more of your talent to see on the screen. Well done my friend.
How can this project be described as ‘end to end’? Surely, it is from ‘beginning’ to ‘complete’! Your gentle, methodical and organic development is magic in motion. Awaiting more incremental additions. Well done, Lewis. Inspiring, as always.
Been away for a while, and just caught up with episodes 5&6, just stunning as always MR, you make it look so easy and so sensational, giving myself and I’m sure plenty of others heaps of inspiration. Carry on doing what your amazing at 🇬🇧👍🚂🍻
Hi Lewis. What can I say that I haven't said before. This is turning out really well and those trees are superb and bring the countryside to life. With the railway and scenery plus a nice choice of buildings, you really have achieved a nice natural looking overall balance. I keep finding that my eyes are constantly drawn to the station buildings, they really do look the part. As always, thoroughly enjoyed. Cheers Chris.
Hey hey hey Mouldy has been away.... Hello Lewis Great work as always and with a few line side and scenic editions your layout is coming to life. As they say the devil is in the detail and you have the devils eye for it, again great work Lewis. Stay safe keep sharing and model on. Regards Lee@NEAR
Excellent work as always. You are deftly skilled at making detailed work look simple. Loving the pastoral views, but the best view is the loco and cars going over the overpass from the different angles!
Looking good Lewis. It looks to be almost finished. Probably a little more detail work and then, boom, it’s done. It’s always entertaining to watch a craftsman work his magic. Thanks. See ya next time.
Really coming on now, Lewis. I must confess I was a little dubious about those walls compared to the cat litter ones, but now you have dressed them, they look very impressive. As always, Henry.
I was watching a Pilentum TV video and they were raving about the layout. I took the liberty of name dropping you and commented about someone called Mouldy Raspberry from the UK who's really good. Anyway did you know translated into German you are Schimmelige Himbeere 🤣🤣🤣🥳💫
At 6:30, you have a very nice rail bridge over a road which seems to run directly into an obstruction of rather large proportions... Might I suggest a dark piece of plastic or perspex that reflects little in the way of light but would hide the back wall and show a hint of an ongoing road into the area? Might enhance one of the very few spots where the "suspension of belief" was required on what is otherwise a brilliant layout...
Thanks Frank. That’s the plan, although I hadn’t thought of dark Perspex, I was thinking a mirror or something but I think the Perspex would work very well. 👍🏻
A joy as always, you have turned model railway building into an art and a sport. How fast?! Some people spend years achieving what you have done in a few weeks. Presumably the three thumbs down came looking for off fruit!
It takes shape nicely ! My favorite is the gravel road, simple but great result. By the way, I love your trees, great choice of kind and place in my opinion. Not yet fixed for the tunnel ? Well... Leave us the surprise !
Muy buenoooo !!! Felicitaciones, exquisito !!
Gracias!
Outstanding!! Love the trick with the polyfibre, hairspray & flock. You make applying static grass look so easy. I clearly need more practice. Brilliant stuff.

Perfect entertainment. Enyoy it after 4 hours working in my garden, 27 Celsius.
How many hours do you spend for your modell railroad per week?
Thanks Chris, appreciate it. I've still got a bit to do in that area - some cottages up the hill and of course more trees!

Schinmelige Himbeere, love it. 😂 Thank you - that’s a great channel, some insanely good layouts on there. Always good for inspiration.
It looks sooo amazing. 👍😍
