That's a Mk1 S1000RR so either 190bhp or 193bhp. The Mk2 had 199BHP and the Mk3 has 207bhp. The latest model is also a fair bit lighter than the original. I own a S1000RR and it didn't surprise me too much it was able to outrun the Veyron on a roll-on race. If the track was longer 1.5 mile+ I'd expect the Veyron would pass the S1000RR. Still with that all said the BMW isn't as fast as some bikes you can buy.
By nature bikes always accelerate faster than cars because they have less traction, strong engines on rather light weight and have a better drag coefficient. I mean you are looking at 1.06hp/kg on a bike versus a Bugatti with 0.51hp/kg, the Bugatti sure is fast but actually has a worse drag coefficient than a 1997 Beetle

If you're used to riding literbikes, riding in a straight line on a modern literbike isn't difficult. Especially not with a rolling start. It's launching the bike from 0 that's hard. I've never been up against what is considered a hyper car but I've faced a couple Ferrari's one Lamborghini and a Audi. The Audi gave me the most exciting race of my life though. I had to back off due to poor road conditions and that's when he did a fly by.

The Bmw is stuffed with tech, like wheelie control, abs and tractioncontrol with lean angle. If you want you can just give it full trottle. It's a beast! If you think you can outrun a modern 1000cc sportbike from 0-300 with even an exotic car, you have to try a little harder.

I used to love the Bugatti until I saw my first Koenigsegg about 12 years ago. The beauty of the design. You can really tell they go above and beyond to innovate. Then I found out they were also faster...that pretty much sealed the deal for me. And they've failed to disappoint all these years later.
The egg Agera R is so technologically advance its absurd. Hybrid operation, direct drive tech. It basically stays in 7th gear at all times. The huge billet aluminum torque converter cranks that shaft and you have almost unlimited power. It's just keeps pulling. Say what you want about any other boutique brand but Koenigsegg is breaking barriers and truly innovating to make these unbelievable cars.

Veyrons very heavy the power isn't its main issue, the weight probably is. Power will matter in the 100s of mph but koenigsegg has a smaller engine and is very high hp.

Bugatti is a different class and style of car, it's designed for luxury and brute force power. This Koenigsegg is designed for all out power and speed. I'd venture a guess there is a huge difference in ride comfort and interior noise between the two. People act as if Bugatti couldn't pull off something more extreme, but their motivations are different. I love both car brands, but Koenigsegg mainly for their use of such advanced tech and brilliant design.

I think most 1,000cc bikes are limited to 300 kmh? That's probably where you start to gain on the bike.
They are not limited to 300kmh the speedometer just stops at 300 but they still accelerate after that.
Actually the topspeed of an BMW S1000rr is about 330kph
And a boosted h2 can get over 400km/h

Bugatti is a different class and style of car, it's designed for luxury and brute force power. This Koenigsegg is designed for all out power and speed. I'd venture a guess there is a huge difference in ride comfort and interior noise between the two. People act as if Bugatti couldn't pull off something more extreme, but their motivations are different. I love both car brands, but Koenigsegg mainly for their use of such advanced tech and brilliant design.
I’m fairly certain a koenigsegg is a pretty comfortable place to be in. Both are amazing, very fast, and have very high quality material.
I agree. I often feel like the Bugatti would be something for an older man and Koenigsegg is for younger people.
Depends what you call comfortable, a hammering twin-turbo V8 can be quite noisy, whereas Bugatti's smooth W16 is a whole lot less noisy I reckon.

I like that 2 second head start from stand still. You look at that pull by the Veyron and then remember that Koenigsegg is even faster than Bugatti. Just the fact that Bugatti can't even compete despite a head start. You never see the Koenigsegg cheat in these matchups ;D

All the cars I've mentioned in my first comment have except the P1 and Venom GT yet, both fair and dirty with no success. They only win the first like 100 meters (109 yards) from stand still and maybe 50-100 meters rolling before the Koenigsegg is gone. There are plenty of displays of this on here to watch. Koenigsegg is the 1/4 & 1/2 mile king in the supercar/hypercar segment.
