I agree, it's certainly very close and could go either way. I'll be using just regular jho vs regular carnosaur for my video, as the standard for my versus series will be the average member of the animals species unless stated otherwise. I won't be using any powerscaling terminology in my video but If people are interested in that aspect I will direct them towards this video. Also I believe there is no official description for Thunderlizards from GW other than "bigger than a stegodon". The picture of the Ankylosaur on the wiki is from a diorama in 2004 that uses non-warhammer toys to depict lustria. There is a mod for TW Warhammer 3 that depicts them as sauropods which is pretty popular as head canon.
I have no idea about the 40K part, but this video just has to be nonsense :D Planetary for a Deviljho? What the fuck? The video is already somewhat hard to understand (he definitely didn't write a script), but this statement literally can't make sense no matter how you look at it. The most powerful monsters in MH wouldn't be planetary. The worst thing Fatalis variants, Safi'jiiva or Dalamadur could do is large-scale destruction on a continental level. That is of course, over a period of time. However, neither of them would scale to planetary level. We also have to keep in mind that descriptions for MH monsters almost always come from legends or other folk tales, its rarely factual in-universe information. I honestly doubt what he said about the carnosaurs would make sense considering his conclusion about the Deviljho :D
@@tamas9554 Carnosaurs are not from 40K. I don't know why you're replying to me but Im not into powerscaling, this video was sent to me by a friend who is. Strange and toxic comments like yours are why I seldom interact with powerscaling.
@@MadlyMesozoic I said I don't know Warhammer, but if anything its your reply which feels strange to me. Where is my comment toxic, again? Saying that the video is nonsense by calling out what he says makes pretty much zero sense and is backed up by nothing? If anything I think it speaks volumes how neither of you have any clue about the MH universe. Also, not into powerscaling? Then how come you also want to make a video about Jho vs Carnosaur? Do you really think I'm this stupid? :DD
@@tamas9554 Not every versus video has to include powerscaling horseshit, no need to seethe and mald over a fight between fictional creatures like someone is cursing your bloodline. I do think you're that stupid. :DDDDDDD

Here's a good idea. Let's take Kroq-gar and Grimlock, and put them in the role of a hunter in Monster Hunter, any game/dlc. How far do they get until something beats the two together?
@AndrewDavis-sj6mb nergigante, akantor and ukanlos will actively hunt and eat him Duramboros and Gammoth are known to be able to kill a deviljho Lagiacrus and gore magala actually intimidates jho So yeah dude has his word cut out for him
Hey there, saw this comment and it is possible in the MH universe to tame a Deviljho via the rite of kinship, however it isn’t recommended because of the amount of food they’ll need so most riders avoid getting on as a monstie, at least that’s what I like to think would be the case

Also the name "Thunder Lizard" is the translation for Brontosaurus so it'd make sense to assume it's a Sauropod.

GREAT LEGENDARY GRIMLOCK VIDEO THE HONEST TRUTH DEVILJHO VS CARNOSAUR CLOSER THAN YOU THINK.
Nether of them could defeat a brutaunis rex because that thing has an electric bite and can zap its brute to death with in 1 millisecond
W video man. Can you do a white fatalis vs pasidusex or bail from Elden ring please?
Hey grim in monster Hunter, is it possible to actually tame a Deviljho?
@superbowsersilva nope
There are at least 5 monsters that are considered tameable if the opportunity was taken, but jho is an absolute no
